  1. it is worth more power than you think
  2. what the feck do you want a .6mm gap for? run the biggest gap you can
  3. It will be a long/tiring drive...but quite fun for a lot of it all the way through the Nat park is very slow (tourists with campervans etc) you can bypass Cooma and go the back way, but there are some un-paved roads etc edit - here is the Short cut http://maps.google.com.au/maps/ms?msa=0 when I get the new car I will take it for a drive down there (been meaning to go fishing anyway) and let you know what the roads are like
  4. so you have 6 month old plugs and the car is missfiring........ I dont meant to be captain obvious here....but change your bloody spark plugs
  5. why do they require more boost...EVO's are a classic example, 1.6BAR standard, but put a gt3037 on there and will make the same power on 10psi. The article was just Garrett PR trying to create a market for them which doesnt truly exist. the GTX turbos haven't set the world on fire, and I believe Garrett have spent <5 mins developing these Billet wheels simply because they are the current Fad in turbo tech. If they truly wanted a new super high performance turbo they would have been done from scratch, ala BW EFR

  7. Are you talking about the dowel in between cyl 5 and 6 on the exhaust side? if so it is meant to be there
  8. lol...I want one of those...then go do a track day and see how many times it sends me a message
  9. ahhh it is in Baulkum hills, though I recognized the area. It does suck, I cracked 2 very expensive looking VOLK rims down in vic a few years back, I got nowhere either
  10. just shiny, larger trim comp wheels, so a bit more power and a slight loss in response
  11. I do agree there is truth, for all but the few, there are always cars we cannot afford, same reason I just bought an A70 supra instead of a TRD 3000GT. As much as I am not a fan of the R35 as a whole, for the price range it is in, It is the top of the performance tree, The fact that it is just a quick as a 911T is meaningless to most (unless you work at Nissan or PCA apparently) Because they aren't in the market for a 911T. Personally i would buy a GT3, but I like my cars raw and lacking driver (band)aids. I could spend $5k on my Supra and it too would run 10's but people looking to spend ~$200 large aren't running out and buying JZA70's and slapping GT35R turbos on them
  12. Ouch 25k!! I though 4k each was bad for some old Toyota CT12a's! and +1 on staying away from 3rd party warranties, not worth the paper they are written on
  13. Is it cause his 4g63 sounds like a bucket of bolts? Lol
  14. It's Buckeeeee'
  15. yeah does all the prep work, if they have gutter rash etc I think he sends them to a 3rd party to be machined or whatever it is they do.
  16. He is a member of the NSW club, has done heaps of stuff to the other guys cars, haven't heard of a single complaint yet I'm going to get him to do all the intake piping on the 1J soon
  17. put a sticker over it lol
  18. paypal is shit! I hate using it I apparently owe them $50...well guess what f**kers the card details the have for that account are no longer in use (I have 2 account btw) so they can jam it
  19. notice he doesn't have a heavy "LEFT" foot

  21. if you plumb it back into the intake you will be fine
  22. 305/315 will fit the rim easily, but I doubt they will fit under standard guards, which is why most guys run the 275/285s
  23. Greg, you MUST get those headers ceramic coated, the blue makes it look gross!!!! oh and your number plate is crooked yes I am being pedantic because there is nothing else on the car to pick on except that it has 2 too many doors sucks to hear about the clutch issues, thought about a different brand? I <3 my jap clutches, better than anything else I have used in any car over the years. and another vote for full noise track videos!!
  24. they are decent..but there are much much better out there, depends on your budget though I guess forgive me though because I thought I read 595 SS and not evo
