    Vx Burnout

If I remember correctly the guy was just heaps happy that he won horsepower heroes. The damage didn't seem to faze him.
  2. Not bad, but with 1500kg I'd only want one with an rb25 or 26 conversion. In which case I may as well buy a stagea.
  3. I heard that Mitsubishi are meant to be bringing out a cheaper version of the Evo, to compete with the WRX.
  4. I'd be much more likely to buy one now. Seems to be a massive leap forward from the VZ. Especially the Calais V. It looks a lot more expensive then it is. When I first saw one from the rear I though it was an Audi.
  5. Predator FTW One of the greatest lines ever: "if it bleeds, we can kill it"
  6. Same as any other e10 fuel I'd guess. But anyway those petrol stations are all out in the boonies. None seem to be anywhere near civilisation.
  7. ^^^ Nice sticker, but most people wouldn't be able to see that it says beat instead of want when they're driving past or whatever. So most people would just think you had a HSV sticker on your car. These tools are no doubt crappy chinese pieces of shit, but because of the HSV logo on them I'm guessing they're more expensive than snap-on.
  8. Apparently Optimax was an average of 98 RON and V power is a minimum of 98 RON. But don't quote me on that.
  9. The buckle supplier took full responsibility. Anyway, at least they have the guts to do a recall unlike some companies. You shouldn't judge a company or product by whether they have done recalls or not.
  10. Well I have two real life examples. My dad paid $25k for a Magna, when he rang up to get it insured they said they'd insure it for $29k. He was quite satisfied with that. My mum is less knowledgeable about cars and got ripped off buying an old Tarago for $12k, and managed to get it insured for this amount. One year later while she had it one the market and was struggling to sell it for $7.5k, it got stolen and written off, and she got the $12k paid out. So both my parents found insurance that suited them and I'm sure you can too.
  11. Well good on you for doing what you think is the right thing to do. I'm sure there will be a peaceful resolution also. Can't see how violence could help either side and I'm sure even Kim Jong-Ill knows this.
  12. I agree, it just doesn't live up to the fuel guzzling behemoth image that the Hummer name represents.
  13. Its the Hummer H3. http://drive.com.au/Editorial/ArticleDetai...21154&vf=28
  14. Daily Terror is always sensationalising some story, and young drivers seem to be flavour of the month again after that recent crash. I can't believe that people actually read and believe the garbage that flows from that paper. And whats worse is that it forces politicians into knee-jerk reactions to shut them up.
  15. Why? cos they wanna sell more cars in America than they already are. Last I heard the camry is the highest selling passenger car in the US and the third highest selling car overall. More than likely they believe that being involved in NASCAR will help convince the southern rednecks that watch NASCAR (who usually wouldn't buy japanese cars) that Toyota ain't so bad. The racing theme will also help their boring image considering they have no performance model in their US line-up as the article says. Can't believe they have to use a 5.9 litre iron block carby V8 though. I knew they were bad but I didn't think NASCARs were that ancient.
  16. Its just a name change. Do a search, theres plently of threads already about "V Power Racing" which was formerly known as Optimax Extreme.

  19. All my local car washes have signs saying no buckets. And they say nothing about California. lol
  20. It was an R34 GTR N1 vs. HSV GTS sedan I beleive. I have it somewhere.
  21. Patto is already taken but can I have my name changed to Patto- or Patto. or something similar please?
  22. The Dangers of Thinking It started out innocently enough. I began to think at parties every now and then - just social thinking. Inevitably, though, one thought led to another, and soon I was more than just a social thinker. I began to think alone - "to relax," I told myself - but I knew it wasn't true. Thinking became more and more important to me, and finally I was thinking all the time. That was when things began to sour at home. One evening I had turned off the TV and asked my wife about the meaning of life. She spent that night at her Mum's. I began to think on the job. I couldn't stop myself. I began to avoid friends at lunchtime so I could read Thoreau and Kafka. I would return to the office dizzy and confused, asking, "What is it exactly we are doing here?" One day the boss called me in. He said, "Listen, I like you, and it hurts me to say this, but your thinking has become a real problem." This gave me a lot to think about. I came home early after my conversation with my Manager. "Honey," I confess, "I've been thinking..." "I know you've been thinking," she said, "and I want a divorce!" "But Honey, surely it's not that serious." "It is serious," she said, lower lip aquiver. "You think as much as University lecturers, and University lecturers don't make any money, so if you keep on thinking, we won't have any money!" "That's a faulty syllogism," I said impatiently. She exploded in tears of rage and frustration, but I was in no mood to deal with the emotional drama. "I'm going to the library," I snarled as I stomped out the door. I headed for the library, in the mood for some Nietzsche. I roared into the car park with the ABC on the radio and ran up to the big glass doors... They didn't open. The library was closed. To this day, I believe that a Higher Power was looking out for me that night. Leaning on the unfeeling glass, whimpering for Zarathustra, a Poster caught my eye, "Is heavy thinking ruining your life?" it asked. You probably recognize that line. It comes from the standard Thinkers Anonymous poster. Which is why I am what I am today: a Recovering thinker. I never miss a TA meeting. At each meeting we watch a non-educational video; last week it was "Border Security: Australia's Front Line." Then we share experiences about how we avoided thinking since the last meeting. I still have my job, and things are a lot better at home. Life just seemed .... easier, somehow, as soon as I stopped thinking. I think the road to recovery is nearly complete for me. Today I made the final step, and joined the Liberal Party.
  23. lol i saw "cat punching" and the last post by ctjet, it made me think of something entirely different. I think the noise must depend on the car. A couple of my mates have had theres hollowed out and it sounds sh!t. Personally I would just get a high-flow.
  24. don't mess with grandma
  25. Women who represent your league team Storm - Delta Goodrem. Tidy, attractive, professional and uncontroversial. Nice to look at, but for some reason just makes you want to yawn. St George - Elle MacPherson. Past her glorious best but still easy on the eye and an old favourite with most. Souths - Whitney Houston. Has not looked after herself in recent years and has gone completely off the rails. Roosters - Amelie Mauresmo. Last woman on Earth scenario : you still wouldn't. Parra - Katie Holmes. Has a certifiable psycho in charge of her every move. Has lost credibility in recent times. Tigers - Britney Spears. At times can look stunning, at others it can get ugly. Bulldogs- Christina Aguilera. Looks like she enjoys it rough and dirty. Warriors - Paris Hilton. Lay's down way too easily. Canberra - Princess Diana. May be a blue blood, but hasn't done anything for a while. Broncos - Madonna. Also past her glorious best, but refuses to accept it gracefully. Cronulla - Jenna Jamison. Can cop a pounding and keep coming back for more. Panthers - Krystal from Big Brother. Has the biggest and best assets going around, but we all know they're not the real deal. Cowboys - J-Lo. Quality all over, but especially good down back. Newcastle - Kylie Minogue. Very decent despite not having much up front. Titans - The Olsen Twins. Not ready to go yet but shaping quite well. Manly - Rikki Lake. Everyone used to hate her but now she is met with little more than indiference.
