  1. Closing as group buy is off. As a reminder, when posting group buys please keep in mind that forum rules state you must have a start and end date. Even though this is not the For Sale section, I need to ensure you still go by forum rules, otherwise we will need to stop classified adds in the V35 section. cheers Bobby
  2. I'm starting to doubt it. Here's some pics. Problem is he was driving a 1 million pound Ferrari, which i think is his own car, cause he was the only one to get a black FXX. So wouldn't be surprised if its a set up and just a once off. Killed the lap record though :-) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/artic...Schumacher.html
  3. If true no wonder that farker can drive! http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/story...9-10229,00.html
  4. Yep my sentiments exactly. The history is great, but people aren't going to watch no name teams just because Ferrari once ran in the same series. They had a view poll on OneHD during the pre race, and 67% said they would follow the FOTA teams.
  5. For some reason, I'm really looking forward to tonight! Can't wait! I saw an interview yesterday about Melb and next year and they said they will def do F1. So if there is a breakaway and they come to Aus, it more than likely wont be Albert Park. They also quickly interviewed Tander and he basically said who cares if they break away, all the history is with F1 not the new series. True, but fark me who watches it cause of the history? If the teams go, the public will follow them, especially if all FOTA goes.
  6. Thanks Chubbs!
  7. mwahahahahahaha

    Real N1

Thanks Adz, same here but take out the "want" in your sentence!
  9. street circuits are the one'si was thinking of. Melb for example operates at a loss. If it is contracted and HAS to run an F1 event, could it afford to run a second event for the new series? Similar for Singapore, Valencia etc Monaco?????
  10. What does this do to the current tracks? Are the tracks signed to F1, if yes does that mean that the "new" series would have to search for alternate venues? I vote Oran park sydney. A nice mutli million dollar injection should keep those farkers away who are currently building houses on our favourite track!

haha good point! Completely missed it. Was just going off the car in his details that says 32 Vspec N1

    Real N1

The R32 N1's all have a different chassis designation to standard GTR's The main way to spot it is that the second last letter is a Z. Fro example mine is (on the Nissan build plate, not Aus compliance sticker) KBNR32RXFSZN The last letter, in my case N was used on all N1's pre 93, however the N1's after 93 which were based on V-Spec 32's all have a different last letter. (actually i'm checking this now could be one of the other letters that were different on the V-Specs) *edit* here we go KBNR32RXFS-ZN for the car made 9108-9302 KBNR32RBFS-ZN for the post 9302 Cheers
  13. Yep exactly. A just detailed car should only need a quick rinse and wipe for months after. I gave my GTR a full detail myself about 4 months ago and even last week, just a quick rinse and wipe and she's perfect.
  14. Ben, Swap ya. Give us Sydney folk your Targa roads, and we'll hand over One HD!
  15. Arnie, see below in my sig for a link to the V35 section. In all honesty if it is a stock car, with low kays and still quite new as most V35's are, mate i would just use what the manual specifys. It also depends on your usage. If you are the type that will cain the car daily and be very hard on it, then a top of the line oil is essential. If it's just a daily driver, then some grade 5 oils might be overkill.
  16. Sorry to hear John. That thing has been bullet proof through Wakie and OP as well. Hopefully its something small like an oil line or something.
  17. Oh, on the plus side, my GPS Lap Timer, showed my average speed on one of my laps as 379km/h. Yep, it's being framed and hung on the wall.
  18. Another big thanks to the organisers. Was really an awesome day. Unfortunately brake issues meant i couldn't get more than 1 quick lap a session. Rears went at Wakie last month, looks like fronts have now gone also. When's the next track day? Third time lucky i guess. A massive thanks to Paul (MADGTR) for both jumping in with me in the morning, and then taking me for a spin later on. Really appreciate it mate. Cannot believe the difference in the way your car pulled up on brakes, compared to mine.
  19. If i was Arnie in that movie where he falls preggers, I would have my tuners babies. Before picking an ECU i sat down and had a chat to him about what i was after. I pretty much gave him free rein on any ECU (he tunes most) and in the end we decided on a Nistune. He could of made a lot more money from me crapping on and telling me i must have a Power FC, Motec, Vipec etc but to his credit he actually gave me something that suited my needs. Last week i went for a check up/tune and because he made me wait 1/2 an hour he did it all for free :-) To me, the fact that he's obviously not out to take every cent from you, the fact that he's happy to take all the time you need chatting about options, and the fact that he knows what cust svc is makes him stand out from the rest.
  20. After all the hype of making it more affordable, $3k is just crazy. Isn't that the same as last year, and last year apparantly included after track events which have been removed to make it more affordable. I suppose though it could all come down to how much interest has been shown by regulars in the background. If they are certain it's gonna fill up easily why drop the price?
  21. +1 GTR's are the greatest car ever. BUT pics of Viper now!
  22. Jess this year i believe the costs are pre driver not per team/car so have come down a fair bit for those entering solo. I'm really really keen on doing this, if not this year next year for sure. I'm trying to convince the inlaws and a friend to sponsor the car and cover the entry fee, through their respective companies. They can claim it back as advertising costs. Just got get em drunk enough before i ask :-)
  23. Not sure if it's been mentioned but what about the old 4Runner's? My old mans one has been going since he bought it new in 95 with nothing but tyres, pads, and fluid changes. He goes hunting regularly, always tow's behind it and it never misses a beat! Not as powerful as the bigger boys of course, but it's been a very very reliable car. I'm trying to get him to update, but the only thing that interests him are the diesel Hilux, everything else he reckons is too soft looking :-)
  24. thanks mate. I just wanted something better than the pissy little one i found. If i ever get to the stage where i have more money than sense, i would love to build a complete replica in that colour scheme.
  25. Thanks, What condition is the surround in? Scratch free, unmarked? Do you have a pic? Cheers
