  1. agree ball bearing shouldnt just "fail" my ball bearing std unit has 220,000 and still goes strong and cams wont add magical power as others have said, you might even loose power
  2. i would think logical and common sense would prevail here if you are caught and fined 3 times for driving with hoon style behaviour then it seems reasonable that you loose your car i mean, come on, 3rd time doing the same thing it seems fair and resonable i mean if you got tagged twice for hoon driving dont you think it's about time you kinda slow down, relax, and drive normal i agree the term hoon needs to be policed correctly, but if i got tagged hoon driving 3 times and my car got auctioned or crushed, it would seem reasonable, i mean ive had 3 warnings? whats all the fuss and disagreeance for ?
  3. i think your confused - the point of the trust return flow, as the name implies, is return flow that is, it re-uses the stock intercooler piping, so you dont have to cut anything
  4. still am the guru (maybe) just don't use it much anymore sms replied - so waiting for you noone - ill give ff dritz a chance to respond so if you can wait a few days
  5. ive had my 33 for 7 years now it's done 23,000 each year since i got it broken radiator coilpacks died alternator replaced diff is grumpy usual wear and tear - clutches, tyres 37% more power than stock and held up pretty well considering
  6. yeah ive tried Rb25 with VCT off and it runs sluggish like a cop having a switch or perm off or perm on is stupid as others have said wire it as per normal install, on the powerfc with datalogit, you can adjust the switch on/off RPM point (but not disable it)
  7. just hack their webserver and offer them to fix it if they hire you
  8. who the f**k do you think you are he thinks he's rambo rambo, is a pussy
  9. 17 is 35 mil tones and 13 is B
  10. check the documentation or ask their local support there are known compatibility issues with individual throttle bodies and map sensor based ECU's i believe thats why apexi make you install it in the exact spot on the plenum and not just anyold where
  11. the 2nd battery is dead (non-OEM) so ive chucked that in the bin, so it comes with 1 working battery. total run time on battery was just over 50 minutes so it is reasonable given its age
  12. speaking of supras what ever happened to kon - was it?
  13. how good is moonmetal sounds like unobtanium
  14. eat your cereal with a fork and do your homework in the dark

  17. You can see from the pics ive cut and shut (front plenum style) the dell laptop power cord and fitted a hacked molex power cord (from pc bits). I've then fitted the same plug to the AC adapter and the 12v ciggy adapter so if your near power or ciggy you can get constant power. I'll do a full charge test of the batteries in the laptop tonight and then once fully charged, test their capacity to hold charge.
  18. For sale is my PowerFC Datalogit kit that I have owned for a number of years. FC Datalogit - Beige box - Multiversion, does any PowerFC except Toyota Supra ( there is a specific box for this one ) - Has the normal inputs/outputs on the box for wideband etc - www.fc-datalogit.co.nz for product info - This is the true serial port person (NOT USB) - also included seperately (didnt come with datalogit) is an additional USB to serial dongle Laptop - Dell Lattitude CPx 650GT 650mhz - 256mb of ram - 18GB HDD - CDROM and floppy (they share the same bay) - 1 batteries installed and working and tested (typical run time on battery is 50 minutes) - Windows 98 and fc datalogit installed (can re-image if you want to std win98 blank) - Video out, touchpad, screen, powerpack, USB Port, PCMCIA ports all in working order - True serial port that works with datalogit - Has AC adapter - Has customized 12v ciggy lighter adapter USB Dongle - Belkin USB dongle - Can supply driver CD - Converts USB to serial - It's recommended you use serial with datalogit, but if you insist on using a new laptop, you can use this included USB dongle So you get a working Win98 laptop, Datalogit kit (box and cable, software) to suit any PowerFC version, a customized 12v ciggy or AC power input into the laptop (i made it) and an optional USB dongle kit as well. This has been used for numerous logging sessions and on-road tuning sessions, fix tunes, unlocking powerfcs and general tune updates and fixes. I have personally used this on many R33's and a workshop has borrowed this to use it on an SR20 Powerfc as well (to verify the multiversion). Price $550 Pickup or Delivery from Melbourne 3038

  21. HKS GTRS if you are ok with the price otherwise GCG Hiflow
  22. if it was me i wouldnt trust auto tune code written by 3rd party groups or people particulary for platforms that dont support it, ie the powerfc and other ecu's the auto tune in the motec and autronic etc would be bulletproof as its had lots of testing, r&d, development, time and $$$ spent on it to get it perfect if datalogit had autotune im not sure i would trust it, and it sounds like this thing youve mentioned is similar a 3rd party app to suit a number of ecu's
