  7. im not sure what protection the stock ecu has the skyline ecu has excess airflow protection you would be best asking this on a silvia forum
  8. it was probably balanced incorrectly or not at all it MUST be balanced to sustain correctly alignment at 100,000rpm+++ speak to GCG in sydney for a quote to rebalance a hks turbo its probably going to be a lot, as its quiet extensive work on their vsr balancer and you may need new internals if they are shagged
  9. im with ash if you are pulling the twins off then replace with steel wheel ball bearing take no risk
  10. power enterprises have a twin turbo kit for it

  19. and if you do happen to find one tuner in your area for the fcon they can charge you as much as they like, as you can't go anywhere else and if they are busy youll have to wait, and you are locked into them every time. its like the mines remaps, and so on, locked to a specific place/workshop. its much better using a widely supported ecu so numerous tuners can fiddle/adjust
  20. the fcon is great, but with no local tuners you may as well have a stock ecu. i would recommend a locally supported ecu instead, what good is the worlds best ecu if no one can tune it? i know bd4s in sydney can tune hks fcon and maybe CRD can as well. i dont think there are any other hks dealers, as they need the pro writer software, which is locked to hks dealers only (anyone care to confirm/correct?). sell it and buy something that a local tuner can work on
  21. nissan consult cable + software (look for user newkleer in for sale) laptop (you have one) nissan skyline (you have one) find the diag port (inside fuse panel, right of sterring wheel)
  22. you cannot be serious? you would change to a djetro setup just because you have a broken airflow meter or the signal isnt working? bad idea, just fix the problem
  23. ? i thought it was going to be twin 2835 with 800hp just kidding
  24. airflow meter as per the nissan service manual if afm is faulty or circuit broken rev limit is set to 2500rpm
