  1. so you replaced the AFM and it went away?
  2. it might be effective, even more effective on its own.. i can't answer that but what i think is you've got to think practically here.. with a FMIC you bolt it up and walk away. every time you drive its always there doing its thing regardless of rpm or engine load with a water/methanol injection, it has to be tuned to only come on at certain rpm/load. PLUS, you have to re-fill it all the time. for me, practicallity and proven effectiveness of hte FMIC makes it the winner every day of the week
  3. have a chat to them, either in person or give them a call if they don't know they will probably ask Dr Drift himself and he will have all the answers so best to go and chat to them...
  4. i know what you're saying but i'm hoping you are just being the devil's advocate here.. its pretty obvious what is happening although proof might be required to put an end to it, i don't think SAU needs to worry about reporting it. we don't shut it by reporting it, we simply alert eBay to investigate it themselves and they can decide if they wish to ban him or not...
  5. so you obviously didn't see the link in my post above yours? http://www.mercurymotorsport.com.au/produc...nedit/index.htm
  6. The team at Mercury Motorsport can... they purchased Dr Drift's software and he trained them how to use it http://www.mercurymotorsport.com.au/produc...nedit/index.htm i've had my car tuned there with their "nissan edit" and it drives nicely
  7. i searched his back sales and he's already made $50 or so off it... PranK won't be happy...
  8. it could be an early sign of power steering pump failure, or even alternator failure.. how does your battery charge? how is the steering? heavy, light, or normal? ps search for "+hicas +light +steering" and you will find information
  9. and i really miss low-rpm torque when i get out of the corvette and into the skyline its like chalk and cheese...
  10. i had a walbro pump installed by the team at mercury motorsports www.mercurymotorsports.com.au
  11. if by "radiator fan" you mean the electric fan in front of the radiator, and not the engine-driven fan behind the radiator, then all is ok and normal that fan is an overheat fan, designed to come on about 100-110deg or so and does not come on even with a hard drive with the A/C on.. personally i wired a switch in my dash and cut the wire to the fan, so that i can turn it on whenever i want eg on a hot day in traffic
  12. now now settle down with the rb20 envy... just because you downgraded to an rb30! i have also reported the scumbag to eGay hopefully they ban his arse..
  13. send a PM to salad.. he knows his wheels
  14. is that pic taken in front of the church in keilor? up on the hill above the freeway?
  15. www.justjap.com have a look at their exhausts, they are by far one of hte greatest value-for-money exhaust around my personal opinion is that if you buy a second-hand exhaust you are never going to get a muffler to work like you do with buying a new exhaust
  16. i have one with its corresponding key in my garage send me a PM if interested...
  17. speak to DrDrift he has spoken about using a remapped R32 ECU with an R33 and so i think it can be done, or at least by him. Not too sure of how to get his contact details, maybe try searching for "+Dr +drift +contact"
  18. if you want top quality work and money isn't a problem, you can't go past Exclusive Auto Centre. They're in the valley/newstead, just near the James street. Exclusive Auto Centre 28 Chester Street, Newstead Phone Nick, 0414 248 725 3852 2539 www.exclusiveautocentre.com.au they are official repairers for maserati, ferrari and porsche and always have a lambo/ferrari in there the work is 100% excellent, i have had work done there on my skyline (rolled the guards) and on my corvette (fixed the roof) tell him that you were recommended by Warren with the corvette and he will help you out and obviously its very close to public transport you could even walk from the city, or worst case catch a bus to the brunswick street mall and walk 5mins down to james street. or catch the 470 to james street etc. anyway mate, good luck cheers, Warren
  19. in my opinion, painting a bonnet black on a car that is not black is compeltely stupid
  20. i used a sandwich plate to attach my oil pressure sender for an aftermarket gauge.. $30 from jusjap.com it had 3 holes to attach threads onto and the gauge i bought came with the new sender that i screwed onto the sandwich plate with some thread tape.. took me 5mins on top of an oil change time to install. piece of piss.
  21. if you can have any colour in the world and you're after something to stand out / be original it just doesn't make sense to paint it anything stock eg silver, grey, white, black.. i'd go for something striking, but not too "look at me" maybe the R34 bayside blue? or R33 midnight purple? just my opinion...
  22. hmmm i don't get it... i'm assuming there's a story behind this? *grabs popcorn and waits*
  23. do 8 years of uni an become a doctor... who would be crazy enough to do that??
  24. i have 255s on the rear of my R32 GTSt which fit fine, but when i lowered it i had to roll the guards that's on 18*9 wheels though
