My Car Was Running Like Shit With A Pod Filter On It.

highly unlikely and air filter isn't a complex peice of device... -
from what i have read the 2510 won't get you there, but a 2530 will BUT i own and drive an rb20 everyday and i personally know how it feels to have no low-rpm torque. saying that, i think the 2510 would be one of the best turbo's on the market to maximise the top end without compromising any bottom end at all... so my 2c is that it might not reach 300rwhp but it will almost get you there but with an awesome midrange that you'll use 300times more often that the top end cheers, Warren

i've seen it! *hides* no seriously i have, its a pile of crap. i went as it was her turn to choose and i had to do the right thing. and even my girlfriend hated it. i thought eddie murphy could rescue it but he is hardly even in it. they sing the words of almost the entire movie. as in the scene will start out as talking but eventually you realise they are just speaking songwords (like it all rhymes and shit) and they break out into song i give it 2 thumbs down, and i want 2 hours of my life back.

try cash converters.. you will be surprised last time i went in they had some good name helmets at cheap prices as long as you check that its not cracked or doesn't look like its hit the ground before you're laughing

How Do You Rate The JJR Split Front And Dump Pipe?
WazR32GTSt replied to gts-4 dreamer's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
have a look for yourself http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=53989 basically the buldge at the top wasn't there before the split dump went on.. the split is about 45cm long and joins later as it goes under the car (see pic someone else attached). i think any turbulence at the join is pretty far away from the turbo, and makes backpressure less of a problem than it would be if it were joining immediately (as in the bell-mouth style) cheers, Warren -
How Do You Rate The JJR Split Front And Dump Pipe?

Help Choosing Parts For A New Turbo Motor
WazR32GTSt replied to R33GTS25's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
the problem is that its hard to let go of something you have we as humans naturally resist change and follow the path of least resitance (like most things in the world) if you try to look at it from an outside perspective then it will be clear the easiest option i had an NA 1987 supra and after blowing a head gasket i wanted to drop a turbo motor into it (we are talking like 4 years ago). i didn't want to sell it and get a turbo model car because i liked my car and i knew it and it felt like a part of me, not just something i owned. so 3 weeks later i still had no car and an engine conversion that proved to be difficult to source the required parts. after wasting 1k i ended up having to get a replacement NA motor. after blowing another head gasket (yes, it was a 7M) i learned the hard way and eventually just sold the supra and bought my R32. it was the best move i have made even though at the time i was half-thinking that i was getting rid of a car i still liked. step outside the box and have a look at your situation. that's why most of us are giving the same advice.. because we have an unbiased viewpoint. but at the end of the day this is all advice - you can take it or not, but if advice is what your after, then mine is to sell it and buy a GTSt and don't look back (plus save yourself $$ and hassle too) best of luck with it all Warren. -
2 * bov's can also see 3 intake runners on the intake manifold on the far side, thus V6 TT V6.. hopefully its 3.5L in capacity

an anti-i-like-to-blow-headgasket TRD intake? i might sounds a little synical but i have blown 2 head gaskets on a 7M engine in the past.. when i had my old 87 supra

in my opinion its best to get a can that can be opened this makes it easy to check that the baffles are actually good or to putsteel wool in if you want to do that. i personally got one from justjap.com and it has the ability to open from the top or bottom, it has a drain hole, and seals air-tight. i prepared a baffle consisting of supermarket stockings filled with kitchen-grade steel scourer and placed these into the catch can. i don't see any problems myself with the "over the cams" type of catch can other than there's not too much room above the engine and its just another thing to remove when changing spark plugs hope that helps Warren

How Do You Rate The JJR Split Front And Dump Pipe?
WazR32GTSt replied to gts-4 dreamer's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
i have had BATMBL dump/front pipes for about 4 years now i got a bellmouth one when i got my car initially and then changed to a split one about a year ago have had no problems whatsoever so i can highly vouch for the quality there.. but then again i am a huge fan of justjap.com as they generally have great products at cheap prices and you are guaranteed customer service and support. i have had many (7 or 8) good dealings with justjap on ebay and by calling and speaking to darron. so the choice is yours but don't sweat either way -
do you have a dvd burner? i can bring you a blank dvd on the drag night if you could burn them onto a dvd for me before then? i would be very appreciative... Warren.

cressida? 7M-GTE? that thing would chew through head gaskets like i chew through mcdonalds...
-
i have one like the second one on my GTSt.. really, a catch can isn't a complex device. its a can-shaped object that air flows into and then out of. if it contains some kind of device to slow the air speed (eg baffles or steel wool) then any oil will precipitate and stay in the can to be collected i have mine situated in the far right corner where the ABS would be if your unlucky enough to have it there's heaps of info on the fourms about catch cans.. do a search for "+catch +can +mount" and you'll probably find heaps of info.. cheers, Warren

How Important Is An Highflow Cat..?
WazR32GTSt replied to Kaido_RR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
i had a stock cat that was gutted and i replaced it with a 3" xforce cat. i was told that because of the restrictive mesh, i would lose power... there was absolutely no noticeable difference in power. plus, now i can sleap at night becaue i'm not pissing on the ozone layer as much anymore -
looks nice any change in driving characteristics?
