  4. It is out by more then the 10% recomended max but not by much, I wouldnt stress about it yet. No, that will not cause your missfire
  5. Standard good condition coilpack's are as good if not better then anything you can buy
  6. If they are picking on seats that recline and use original mountings then take the car to another inspector. Supercheap is your friend for the light and tyre sticker you could prob get at any engineer, Phil's mechanical Services is good and hes pretty laid back, prob be able to give you some good advice
  7. Because they are either: A: Stupid or B: Made of money and can rebuild the engine again if needed
  8. I imagine it makes no difference to nissan if people are braking gearboxes after getting a chunk more power out of it then drag racing them. If you up the power things will break, thats a given and should be accepted. That GTR that ran a 10.6 is making worlds more power then stock so a gear box breakage was expected.
  9. They are different, thats why the Nismo diff's come with new side flanges and all sorts of stuff, not just the centre... Not sure on the workaround
  10. What you mean no skyline in the video? The very first thing in the video was the Yellow 34 lighting it up (yes, that same age old video)
  11. Why dont you just weld the hole up? Also must ask, how the hell did that happen?

  15. Just to correct that, White smoke is coolant Black is Petrol Blue is oil
  16. A standard GTR on a qtr SHOULD be faster then a standard STI assuming the driving is spot on and the car is in good health
  17. Are those the new bridgestone semi's? and are they available in oz yet?
  18. Have done many a time, seems to do nothing for me... (moly grease mostly)
  19. Cool, cheers for that. May end up taking out the bushes though and smashing in some bearings instead. Need to find some time to take one of the arms off and take it to a bearing place
  20. That is most brutal....
  21. I have stockies with steel wheels, done by slide of these forums. Response is very nice not sure about power yet as haven't upped the boost yet. If going this way though I would suggest changing the actuators to something new as they are old now and now I have problems with them.... The best response we saw on the dyno so far was with the actuators unplugged we saw 13psi by 2.5k but had to back off so to not overboost them (troubleshooting slow boost build issue)
  22. Haha, righto, wouldn't have gold bbs lm rims on it as well would it?
  23. Hey, you in Perth eh? if so then ill see you at the sprint on sat, would love to hear what you think of the brake upgrade, ill be out there in my white 32GTR but running out of pads so praying to the godz that they hold a few fast laps
  24. Got my L2S finally they released the 2009 membership forms... was sick of forking out for the day licences...
