    that is a DEALER fitted item. yet to see a V36 with it fitted.

    up to 2007 I could fix them. now parts are becoming scarce for them. when the unit dies IT WILL TAKE THE A/C with it. there is no getting around this without spending money on new panelwork and controls. the dead unit syndrome I can fix the F0 and F3 errors will write the unit off. if it happens that you get a car like this have a spare $1k handy.

    guys, mate of mine chopped one up and has 99% of it on the way from osaka. if you want bits off it shoot me an email. cut will be located in brisbane. I already have dibs on the audio system and screen - if there is an IT guy handy here that can code in linux/posix I'd like to hear from you - privately! ( I suck at code.)

    well I will say one thing. it certainly did not lose power when on gas. I have driven this car and its not noticeable just cheaper to run. unsure what it will do distance wise with the cruise on though.

    drop the drivers side dash and unplug them. there will be an oval module that will have a red & white of set 2 pin plugs . pull those out. I would say pull the lot but then you will probably lose the folding mirror thing that everyone seems to like.

    with 'creativity ' its doable. though pulling the stock seat out tends to piss off the SRS unit.

    no but renault does... there seems to be a lot of valeo in these things.

    aaron, shoot me a PM I can probably help. one thing to note on teh ARX as well. the 6cd does tend to destroy itself AND if the unit dies it takes the A/C with it. bear that in mind.

    they are ultrasonic btw - so noise based. wind will set them off.

    rip it out. they false if you leave the window cracked a hair. been there several times. to make matters worse they are put in with sctochlocks and they WILL fk up and strand you. its a dealer fitted item. I have removed hundreds of them.

    its on high ground at the moment. probably drag it beck here in a week or so.

    wont say deep pockets. car is $6k to buy so roughly $12k landed here at a guess. it would be the sort of thing that the 31 guys would like. if I wasn't in teh midst of doing a 32 I would buy it myself.

    you have airbag issues... that is the pedestrian protection system having a whinge. in the even you nain someone with the car it pops the rear of the bonnet up. those two devices are causing your light. a trip to nissan will sort it unless you can find a tool that will read the car.

    that could work if th car was sitting still. the thing people are not getting with this car is the complexity of it. you can't simply bang a box into it. it all has to be linked in properly.

    switch on top may be stuffed. does the screen work at all?

    1 - amplifier wiring or bypass cables 2 - CD stacker (maybe need a better shot.)

    they do the same here as well. I know of a few shops that before all this came to a head would let me grab a car - do what I needed to (usually an alarm or similar.) and return it to them., now its a entirely differnt matter. they will rock up and inspect at will.
