  1. ^^ this guy , he knows things..
  2. kenwood and blau I do. can ship either interstate.
  3. depends if the car had the OEM tv or not. mid 3 figure amount for the digital version for the tuner unit. time and fiddling are on top of that.
  4. nissan are your only option.
  5. avic f40 = quickish nav ok. alpine = over hyped navi mediocre kenwood. win ce6 based feature ok. navi is garmin based. blau = not bad check that the unit has been updated. these had issues with BT on IP4. navi is good. eclipse - go play with a base toyota with navi - same unit. installed several. reasonably quick. decent unit.
  6. certainly possible. needs a new tv tuner though. I sell them.
  7. had an image of it. lost it with a dell server fail.
  8. book is cool. wish it was partially in english
  9. what started as a rebuild for me went fairly full on once i started doing the body. figured if i was going that may as well do the entire car properly.
  10. not bad. mine is sitting on its sit at the moment stripped again. been ordering small bits and pieces for it over be last few months. new interior panels are planned as well.
  11. ts magna works well. the later ones are LED and attach to the glass.
  12. no problem. thanks for adding yourself to the facebook page as well
  13. never grew up with test lights. bought a fluke 70 in 1989 then a fluke 78 in 2000. I hav seen first hand what a solid test light will do to vehicle electronics. grounding a 'yellow ' harness with one produces som interesting results. same thing with engine related electronics. have seen speedo senders knocked out with these things. i have a shop facebook page with a few interesting pictures of alarm installs as well ( see sig.)
  14. yet to look. been busy building a shop. from memory though i have two sets. also bought this 20 min ago... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230811772305 bnr 32 resto book.
  15. that is the designation for v spec. there are two of them . n1 brings up another variant again.
  16. farkin lol! 22 yrs into this and i still see people sayingnthey can do a better job than me. if you can - go for it. those in brisyy that know me know full and welll the only way a carvis goung to move is on a flatbed. my facebook page shows a few sjit jobs i have cleaned up from other shops. one of the cars WAS stolen with the alarm left intact and functioning! heatshrink. i like people that use this stuff. makes my job a LOT easier to see where things have been fk'd with. leon, doing fine, building a new shop and workingnsillynhours to do it. troy, yep list would be good. i know most of my national customers would like this.
  17. bear in mind those harnesses will be a couple hundred each IF the are available. i have yet to check. thinking about it , I MAY have a spare set of these. i will have to look.
  18. drv side 24124-04U02 pas side 24125-04U02 the key differeence in these harnesses is the extra two pin blue plug that comes out with the mirror control plug.if you find one in a wreck note that plug. that will indicate it is a northern car with the cold weather package. if you do find one it will also have a larger battery tray, battery hold down, and heavier battery cables into the car. i have a couple of these style cars on file if you need an entry point into FAST.
