  1. And S2 onwards the Airbags SRS module is under the centre console and not built into the wheel like S1 and S1/5. S2 dash has round CELs S1/1.5 has soft rounded squares/rectangles.
  2. On VR38, VR30 variants they run twin plenums, twin TBs - however there is a balance tube between them to reduce the delta between each side. (aftermarket one just for a top down view & OEM) & VR30DETT Not disagreeing with the difference between each group however I would suspect it would be a more efficient than two turbos fighting against each other to force air into what is essentially a Y connector. However the way @AndyStuttgart worded it, it sounds like the delta would be massive. I would dare say if you could separate each turbo's charged air via separate piping, separate ICs and just merged before it touches the plenum you would already have gained efficiencies that way. Kind of how you bi-wire your speakers to reduce back emf. To summarise, twin scroll single turbo > twins on an inline 6. (All the above is for entertainment purposes only, please don't get upset - especially if you're Murican or Canadian ).
  3. Why would the front/rear have different charge temps and boost pressure?
  4. I barely have time to sleep these days, let alone work on race cars that are 2000km away lol
  5. If they're OEM ones, they're fixed and not to mention probably completely flogged. Just jack up the car securely and take off a castor rod from one side and inspect the bush. Nissan at the time thought filling it with some form liquid was a great idea.
  6. Clearly I'm not good at listening lol... (Mainly skipped all the talking and just looked at the manifold design and listened to the car noises). So many single turbo kits, just none in RHD. Talk about going off topic, anyhow back on topic. Twin turbos on a RB with a single plenum will always be shit. Only "real" way to make them less shit is to run twin turbos, twin ICs, twin plenums and keep them separate all the way. @Piggaz actually found a video of the crazy Japs back in the 90s that actually did just that.
  7. I know that plug, great to build once and never look at again lol.
  8. As soon as a single turbo goes on, it's like a symphony played by the gods. I think this is Brett's car (judging by the plates) https://youtu.be/QvUwVTgi_Hk
  9. Because it sounds cool on paper but in reality sounds aids (literally), a M3 with an exhaust sounds horrible. Kind of a reminds me of a stock turbo R32-34 with a loud exhaust, just sounds dreadful.
  10. You're probably thinking of this style of Tyco connectors, these are a complete cnut to get right as per your experiences. The other end to the plug and play adaptor uses these and yes, I've ended up just wiring direct to ECU instead and bypassing them as they're a cnut to work with 😂
  11. One sensor issues at a time, worked out why my oil temp was reading out of whack. Turns out when you run a temperature sensors on a SP Input instead of an AV Input the internal pull up is 10k Ohms not 1k Ohms. This means the standard calibration table cannot be used and needs to be offset. Haltech did supply me a new calibration table to suit, however advised that the resolution will be reduced. To fix this small issue, I decided to move the EMAP input to SPI2 and move the Oil Temp input to AVI10 (didn't do this initially as I used the OEM power steering input and pinned it to the OEM AFM and it all sat on the main 24 pins connector). Instead of cutting, crimping and shrinking I decided to swap it on the ECU side AMP plugs. How good are these AMP plugs? No need for any fancy thin depin tools, etc.? Anyhow was a 5 minute job and hello full range and full resolution oil temperature.
  12. Come on, 2.75 is a good multiplier, there's no need for 3x.
  13. Tao at @hypergear turbos can do it
  14. It is a bit different, however both are same same in what they do and how they mount. I haven't even opened the box yet, just added to my parts museum to install one day I must admit, I didn't really try very hard to locate it - but thanks for the tip with JP Car Parts, will try them next time I need more replacement parts for the shit box.
  15. Walked in, walked out $550 poorer. I now have new bonnet/hood insulation 😂 Amayama couldn't source one, Kudos couldn't either, even tried EFI Solutions but somehow Skyline Spares could so yeah, sent it and bought it. This is more expensive than a coacine addiction.
  16. Then there's Haltech, tune it drunk and you'll still do a good job provided all the long term trims are enabled 🙂
  17. Forget about the eBoost, 4 port solenoid and canbus keypad. Have buttons called 400kW, 500kW, 600kW, Rolling A/L, Launch Control, etc.
  18. Much nicer than a PowerFC, to be it's pretty easy to use and their logging software (during the run) is fantastic. But all depends on your tuner, so talk to them first.
  19. Twins on a RB will always be shit, all of a sudden the Muricans and Canadians are experts with RBs.
  20. Nistune, does flex fuel, launch control, soft/hard limiters, super basic engine protection
