  1. What exactly is going to go on at this event? Oh, and Harold Park Paceway is on the other end of Wigram Rd on that map
  2. I had a look at the Cranking table... Interesting that you can't adjust spark timing, but only injector width? And what do you reckon the temperature is? Water temp?
  3. I think you mean 600 x 300
  4. Brendan, My car does the EXACT same thing... Perfect from dead cold, perfect if I start it up again within a few minutes when hot, but if I leave it for a while when hot, it takes 3-4 long cranks to fire up. I thought it was my Bosch 044 fuel pump, but I dunno anymore... I really need to give Paul (Stace's pit bitch) a call, he said he went through the same troubles with Stace's car, but I haven't gotten around to calling him yet :looney: Possible factors: Power FC Pro GReddy 800cc injectors Mines AFMs? Bosch 044 Fuel Pump Makes it hard because I had so many things changed at once, troubleshooting is going to be a biatch
  5. intake gasket leak?
  6. :spcow: :spcow: :spcow: :spcow:
  7. Oh don't worry about little ol' me!!! I won't be chasing anywhere NEAR 400awkw, so my car won't be comparable to the ones posted at all I'll be happy to crack 300awkw, but with a nice big fat low rpm curve If I get sick of the GT-SS, it's good to know that GT2530s can be bolted on for an instant 100awkw increase though! P.S. I've done 1500kms run in now, the boost will be turned up very very shortly
  8. I agree with everyone else... You won't make 370rwkw. But forget about the peak number, that's not what 2510s are made for. They're incredible turbos for street use, with a huge lump of low down torque so you don't have a power curve that looks like someone sat on the bottom half, like a few you'll see running around these parts I don't think the turbos will support 25psi anyway, I'm guessing that they'll run out of puff before then... Great choice of turbos! Good luck and tell us what you manage to screw out of them!
  9. Because R34 Getrags have 5th gear = 1.000:1 ratio, just like our 5 speeds have 4th gear = 1.000:1 ratio I gotta say though, I'm confused because those speeds at the bottom of Mark's graph are like that of 4th gear in an R34 Getrag and stock 3.545 final drive ratio
  10. Looks like it would be.............. interesting UNDER 5000rpm
  11. What time are you getting to UAS?
  12. I definitely suggest going to Wakefield a few times before tackling Eastern Creek. Get used to picking racing lines and learn how your car handles at the limit. Wakefield is basically a racetrack in a big dirt field... It's short and tight, and really tests skills. If you stuff up, there's literally nothing to hit, so you just turn your car around, dust yourself off and go at it again... Great learning curve at Wakefield. Eastern Creek however is a very high speed track. With speeds of upto 260km/h+ down the main straight, and corner speeds of 180-190km/h, if you stuff up (which you're bound to do when you're still learning how to drive on the racetrack), the results can be quite ugly. Flashbacks of R33 GTRs running off the track at 200km/h and having a tea party with a wall and Porsche's spinning out and saying hello to concrete walls at Turn 12...
  13. Fair enough, but going by that reasoning, shouldn't we also need front shaft loops and 4 driveshaft loops as well?
  14. Who usually liases with Motoconcepts for us? Majanal isn't it? Dan, are you around? Is it possible to setup the usual deal eg: deposits and pay the balance on the day type of affair?
  15. Tell me when you go down... I'll try and join you!
  16. Gordon Levin Tyres in NSW are SAU NSW Club sponsors, and can quite comprehensively beat those prices Alan, it would definitely be worthwhile to ring up Gordon Levin, ask to speak to Bill Pearson or Gordon Levin (don't talk to any of the other staff working there, they don't know about the sponsorship deal the boss has made with us) and see what prices he can do for you. e.g. 265/35/18s for about $460 I read the oil cooler thread and noted the prices... You're getting a small discount off RETAIL price for these group buys, you should be pushing for TRADE price Any questions, PM me! Andrew. edit: Make sure you note what compounds you're dealing with too... the RE55s have something like 5 different compounds and the "WT2" wets are ridiculously sticky but only last 1 or 2 trackdays... You want the hardest "SR" endurance compound ones to make them cost effective... They're still extremely sticky, but last a fair bit longer than the wets, as you can imagine
  17. I did indeed, but didn't notice the new plates
  18. Spotted HGE002 on Victoria Rd in front of some boat shop at about 5:30pm
  19. I'll try and get Daniel's phone number for you mate!
  20. HAHAHAHA!!! It was Brett's idea to start with, and then Chris carried it out whilst Bu-five-ter ran away I had no part in the shenanigans!!!
  21. Read the rules for posting please.
