  1. Rezz is in Uganda now.
  2. Yeah I work for em as the IT person (basically coding/maintaining the website/auction databases and the internal network in the offices)... so I won't be the one you talk to when you call us. Compliance fees are included in all SEVS cars, as SEVS compliance is done to a national standard. Compliance fees aren't included in 1988 and older vehices (and some 15 year old cars with import approvals) as they're done to a state standard. For example, seatbelts don't have to be changed in VIC for A31 cefiros for compliance, but in NSW its mandatory. This creates a large variance in compliance costs, so its easier to supply the cost to the customer when they contact us. Also some of our customers (mechanics, panel beaters etc) do part of the compliance themselves, so they only pay for it to be engineered. As for fees, there's a $1000 J-Spec fee, and all other costs are as they are incurred with invoices and reciepts for each step of the way.
  3. you can be a vagina if you want settle down fellas, don't wanna have to close this thread as well. Keep the pics coming, and teh bitching subtle and off the forum. The night ended well regardless of shenannigans, so lets not make a fuss over it. I'm sure Jeff knows what not to do next time.
  4. Depends on the engineer that signs em off. One of the ones we use prefers to have them welded in on both sides, and won't sign off on the car otherwise. Another gets em down from QLD, bolts/rivets em in and signs it off, although he won't sign off on it unless it was installed by him.
  5. awesome... yeah we stopped at the supercheap on the way from Melbourne to the Gold Coast. We picked up some windscreen wipers and a $150 sony cd player (I had removed the one in the car, and we cbf driving the rest of the way in silence). Pulled into the driveway and one of the guys in the car yelled "oh my god, its a stagea in the middle of nowhere!". We also chatted up your checkout chick, but we didn't get any phone numbers or discounts
  6. comittee@superfunhappysliders.com I think.
  7. don't lie... you know it'll pull more chicks than the AE86
  8. hmm a thread full of admins and mods and you're poking fun at them. Very intelligent
  9. yup, if I was getting a stagea the W35 will be the go. Just much better looking than the previous model. Although I wish they didn't have the volvo/volkswagon style rear tail lights.
  10. I dunno man... I have a feeling this year's the one... do you feel lucky?
  11. agreed skylines are tough and silvias are sleek. Combine them though and you get "arse", especially if you see it from the back, there's heaps more photos of that car floating around. It looks so fake.
  12. so who's stag is this in Taree?
  13. Yeah that's what I meant, an RB20DET is like $1200 and an RB25DET is like $2200 these days. By the time you're done f**kin around with the wiring and the parts to fit the RB20 your $1000 saving will have dissapeared, so you're better off just buying a bare RB25 (as you should have the throttle body and manifolds already) and simply dropping it in. If there's no engine in the R33 right now then put the 1JZ in there... just for shits n giggles
  14. So how much would it cost to get a 1998 R33 Series 2 GTS25t though you guys from start to finish?
  15. that looks good man, how long did it take you to do that? and in what app?
  16. ... I made two pics
  17. ... in australia... not teh world There's a NA31 (AWD model) with a 2.8L RB26DETT built by Tomei that runs 9's in japan, and serves as a weekend track car.
  18. Taree is close to Newcastle innit?
  19. oh... that's wierd... its only supposed to fire once. Even if the lock is jammed it should only try once.
  20. nah the search feature of IPB is rooted. It only includes hits into the search results about 1 to 2 days after they are posted. For example the word "zigglypoop" is unique enough that the only hit should be this thread. However if you were to search for that word within 48 hours of me posting it, it won't find it as a hit. Its quite metrosexual.
  21. looms are different, as are ancillaries and sensors. For example the injectors and PTU all need to be rewired. You'd be better off sourcing a second RB25DET.
  22. they went up to late 1993 or early 1994 from memory. There were 3 series' which ended with the RB25DE model. Pretty much followed the same lineage as the R32 skyline, which isn't surprising. All A31's almost have an equivalent R32 model, drivetrain and engine wise. Wait till I get back to melb and I'll do you a writeup of all the different models, features and shizzle.
  23. I wired up my doors to central lock, so when it locks the driver's door when you start moving, it locks all the doors. Most of my passengers find it annoying... I call it the "kidnapper option".
  24. ewww... apple-seed in the back seat for you simon! hmm now that its in the sun and at those angles that colour dosen't look like midnight purple anymore... looks more like the holden monaro purple now.
