  2. drive it around here Get out the WD40 and crc, also ever tried a 12" shifter and a hammer to break rust. usually works for me, there easy to get off dun see the problem. Mind you if you were to be travelling down as far as springwood way i would do it for free

  10. stainless is mainly better on non-stock turbos as they suck in alot more air, but if its nessessary for stock air box best to get one custom fabricated, to suit your needs , and yess for that it will cost the dosh to do, hope that helps

"so you can get a tuner to tune 100%" Its still going to cost you money regardless whether you tune from a bas map or not most likely the same amount of money, esp when everyones car is different, and even if you got one close to your specs, doesnt mean the car is in tune, as every tune is different, best time and money is spent on getting it done in full when thats what they usually do and go from there, less stuffing around then, as they usually wipe the map which is currently on there anyway and start from fresh.   16. no no no your fully wrong, go fullsik 400 rwkws minimum, that should get you everywere while the fuel is in the tank, no wheelspin what so ever, put some 285's on the rear and you'll be right LoL, anything under 300 is the best bet for street, any more and its just rudiculous, 250 is comfortable, but as mentioned, with the right handling supports to accomodate power is your best bet for street

Hmmmm, best sort out the ECU problem first, get a new one, PFC, HALTEC, name your price, then go for a tune, roughly for full tune, depending where you go, 500 and up, plenty of recommendations on tuners, matt spry down the g/c to allstar up north side zilmere, ones i know of, but plenty around but not to many decent ones that will do a decent job. but yeah, if your running stock ecu exhaust intercooler, maybe you should balance the list on which way you may like to go, best sus those out then move to a tune, to check if fine, as it has been rebuilt just remember it may be running on the lean side esp. because of the stock ecu. Power runs are $55.00 and up at many dynos, But it never hurts to get compression and leakdown test if you really want to check things out. Cheers A

Yeah, im going to have to line up a decent paint/panel shop that will do a decent paint job full respray of my car, as it seems to be that acid rain (Stupid bloody city rain crap) has taken its toll on my original paint/clearcoat, and will have to line one up in the next up and coming months, say 6 months time, But after one specifically if possible in SE QLD, that will do one at a good price and also that said a decent job. After responses of quality that you may have recieved and also rough quotes or who you would recommend. Currently running black on my skyline, aswell thoughts on what colour i maybe should go?   20. efficientcy zone, 12psi just creates more heat, plus there is no direct rule for psi to kws, as theres so many other variables to include that can alter results, ie: exhaust, fmic, fuel, filterchoices, as well as outside or intake temperature (cooler means more, hotter means less) and many more that will determine what power you get, not only that dynos all read different. And before a mod says it there are plenty of results under the search function as well as check the dyno results in the FI area, then you can gather what you may or may not get or close to it, from the information that is listed.   21. Plenty of topics about fuel pumps under the search function, plus if your that affraid of mounting isues, get direct intank replacements, for a little more cash, and reliable as well. IE: Tomei direct replacement, at nengun.

I say direct result of consistant low fuel, i dont think you should always run the tank till its almost empty as wouldnt this coincide to the pump sucking all the crap at the bottom of the tank also making the pump work harder, not only that adds extensive wear and tear on the pump? Do you run your engine oil until it all runs out? Why should a fuel pump be any different? Alwell it happens, good luck Cheers Adam
