Hmmmm, best sort out the ECU problem first, get a new one, PFC, HALTEC, name your price, then go for a tune, roughly for full tune, depending where you go, 500 and up, plenty of recommendations on tuners, matt spry down the g/c to allstar up north side zilmere, ones i know of, but plenty around but not to many decent ones that will do a decent job. but yeah, if your running stock ecu exhaust intercooler, maybe you should balance the list on which way you may like to go, best sus those out then move to a tune, to check if fine, as it has been rebuilt just remember it may be running on the lean side esp. because of the stock ecu.

But it never hurts to get compression and leakdown test if you really want to check things out.
