  1. its a long shot buddy but if your still interseted ive got the turbo. $1600 ONO PM me if intested
  2. it really does seem like its detonating... its alright for the tuner to say it wasnt, but its right there in plain view. you know on those 'funniest home video' shows you see the kid standing there covered in paint saying 'but it wasnt me!' while the hallway has now turned rainbow. thats your tuner was he actually using anything at all to monitor knock?
  3. i think most poeple who get aftermarket plenums are already in the 300kw+ range. TCS isnt gonna do much for you. my mate just got it removed alltogether and it cleans up alot of the ugly shit wires in the engine bay aswell.
  4. i always thought the bigger the injectors the more problems with idle lol
  5. anyone else remember the guy who got done for PUSHING his car across the road to get it to his trailer?
  6. unfortunately no.....greddy dont make it for the ER34. but to be honest the plazmaman plenums seem to be quite amazing. supports over 1000hp, gets rid of all the ugly shit in the engine. and they claim it will increase throttle response by 20hp throughout the revrange. the best thing about plazmaman plenums is they keep the factory long runners so your response is always there. my mate has had it on his r34 rb25/30 setup for about 6months now but his moving to a rb26 head and selling the plenum. pretty cheap check it if your interested. http://www.gtroc.com.au/forums/index.php?s...t&p=5015964
  7. well ive always planned to use the PFC D jetro.......but some have raised the question about Haltech.....problem is i dont think they have a plug and play unit =[
  8. you would think so huh? but they claim it would ACTUALLY increase top end by 25%.......dunno how but insane if true.
  9. i would buddy but theres like a 500bux differnece in price, bitch of a cold start and exhaust idle. =[ theyd be fine, only reason im asking is maybe they might be to overkill.
  10. will 800cc give me enough leg room incase the cars in the wrong situation? or pushed hard enough?
  11. looks like youll beat me to it buddy. i recently jsut took off the rb25 head and slappn on a 26. still deciding if i should keep the gt3540 or swap it over for a t04z. please keep us posted. p.s = do u rkn the 800 cc injectors are big enough for around 450rwkw?
  12. i defiently think this would be the next best thing since sliced bread, but looks like its very new to the market still. id give ti another year, thing will be selling faster then HKS BOVs
  13. replacing the rb25 head with a rb26 with some nice 270 cams. hoping for around 400-450rwkw with a hks t04z. but wanted to know would 800cc injectors be big enough or should i get the big 1000cc?
  14. i agree with lithium, causing a restriction would basicly rack up psi way faster. as far as top end, i dont know how this would be possible due to restriction. but they claim it gives a 25% INCREASE in top end and improved spool. if i can get my hands on one id defiantly be interested in trying it out.
  15. from wat i hear around 600US =[ would be definitely worth it if it it does wat they claim.
  16. im always up for tips on how to reduce lag, and recently saw a dyno graph with a gt55 turbo on a supra which had a curve like it was a t04z. the supra was stroked to 3.4L and some nice cams but he also mentioned that half the reason why the spool was so insane was because he had a "spool valve" from wat i understand its basically using a split pulse manifold system and blocking off one side to force the exhaust cases through the other one. resulting in more restriction thus faster PSI buildup. any professionals care to explain this tatic any any pros and cons? honestly never heard about it until now btw does anyone actually sell these in aust?
  17. should be fine with 20+PSI. with the 26 head the compression drops down a fair bit, and they are a tough little nugget anyway. you'll be right at one bar IMO
  18. damn your a legend you have a PM!

    Wtb: Rb26 Head

hey guys just a update, it seems like alot of ppl either have only bare heads or missing plenums or covers. if anyone has a rb26 head inc covers, plenum and a wiring loom. shoot me a pm!
  20. any idea where i can get some part numbers?
  21. ummmm i dont think the headlight pics explain if they are xenon or not. its NA vs Turbo. the 1st pic are usually off NA R34s where the bulb as the parker light in the 2nd pic are off Turbos. im fairly certain that is the correct difference but correct me if im wrong. and to the OP. they are 2 completely diff cars.
  22. champion. thanks for that Matt, was going to sign up on nistune forums but didnt think i'd find out in time. must say this is damn good service. thanks bud edit - yes, VLT, ECU has been pre modded and setup, just needs a tune to suit current setup
  23. only under load/high rpm
  24. going to be doing base tune on a mates car tmr, he hasnt got the wideband setup yet (tech edge). going to use winlog/tewblog and want to know, to get the load signal to the wideband, can it be done via software from nistune, or do we have to actually wire it straight off the AFM? or is there some sort of logging program that works with nistune, that can log A:F ratio in matix mode? thanks guys, Ben edit - i dont think hes wired the AFM to the wideband. ecu has been internally modified for his AFM, i think he mentioned something about it working on a weird voltage scale, like 2-7 volts or some such thing. do any Z32 AFM's work on a werid scale like that (think its a z32, not sure)
