his car makes full boost by 5000rpm and pulls hard till 9000. how can that not be fun? my mate runs a gt3540 rb30 on his r34 and makes full boost by 3900 and pulls to 7000. he makes around 350rwkw. and has yet to even lose to anything on the street. and trsut me 20psi by 4000rpm is f*kn responsive on a big turbo like that. we both know there are alot more serious cars out there. but with a AWD system and full boot by 5000rpm. and making over 5000kw. thats more fun then dreamworld your profile says u own a r33 gtst....what stock twins are you talking about? stock GTRs make full boost by 2500rpm but make like 250awk.......which is f*k all and isnt all that fast. i can tell youve never been in anything other then your standard 2.5 or 2.6 skyline. this guys running a rb30 which will cause less lag and even more power. i dont think you know what lag is boy

ive always said that rb30s will always shit on rb26s......and seeing a rb30 pull till 9000 is just jawbreaking. ill never go back to 2.6 lol

ive got a T3 top mount if your interested. but its not split pulse. let me know

hey guys im currently in the market for a rb26 head but everyone seems to be selling without covers. so if it comes down to it i was hoping to find some covers from another seller. dosnt have to be in super condition because i plan to re-paint/polish them. but if the condition is mint, the bettter! shoot us a Pm reply here. it might be a safe bet to get something a bit better flowing i guess i cant see the standard plenum doing to well when it was designed for 204kw @ flyweel to 400 lol i do hear hypertune do fantastic work, but gosh they are expensive =[

i was just thinkin if i needed something better i could spend the money on a new plenum rather then on the 26 one which wont do me any good =[

hey NYTSKY. awsome write up, even though its not my build im quite excited for you. i had a question about your slotted turbo. does it really make the t51r sound? because from wat i remember the t51r isnt slotted but im a major fan of the t51r but i cant justify the lag it comes with. was hoping you had a sample sound clip or something? how much did it end up costing you to slot the cover? im currently running a bit larger then you (gt35r) and ive been thiking about slotting the turbo for a while now. would you recommend it?

was just wondering guys if i need to change the plenum on the 26 if im aiming at 350-400kws or is it good enough to flow that much. is it worth paying the extra to swap in a greddy or nismo?

celsior on bags, straight thorugh zorst, on 20's, just not those horrible big bling ones, something tasteful cant really see a smaller turbo motor being real good in a 'cruiser'. although an aristo could definately work, but no deal on the rotor or rb25 R33 dude, i know exactly what you mean, my mate asked me just the other day why chasers are worth twice as much as aristo's... and i couldnt think why? the only thing they have in there favour is that they came in manual, but even then, theres hardly any around, and the autos are still worth heaps too. looks, i rkn aristo is better personally 2jz>1jz, goes without saying aristo i believe came with more creature comforts just what is so good about the chaser?

hey guys im after a rb26 head for my rb30 build. would really prefer it from either a r33 or r34 but 32s are okai if good condition. very interested in plenum and rocket covers, aftermarket cams is a big bonus. please PM or reply to this thread with wat series car the head came from, approx kms travelled and anything else you would like to mention. serious buyer!!

X2 for the tech articles. thats why i started, i buy it now more out of habbit. brains' R31 was nuts, one of my fav articles back in the day. i like how they used to really think and do things in different ways, rather than just a product review/bolt on job as most of it seems to be now.

your quite right worped but youll realize most of these so called "books" only explain what the car came with from factory, regardless of what the car can legally have....its quite sad really.......
