the noise.. no idea. but with the car off, u can still put the car in gear without putting the clutch in, its usually a little bit harder, but the synchros are probly just lined up for 3rd n 4th wen u turned the car off

yeh i saw one tv where they did a turbo kit like that on sum POS ricer, think it mighta been a civic, there excuse was underbonnet space (might not have been a civic, coz i think the exhaust manifold was on the rear side of the engine). not only would there be massive lag from the length of the cooler pipes etc, but the exhaust will have lost almost all of its heat (from 900 or whatever straight out of the head, to cool enough you can hold your hand over the exhaust tip) and there would be sweet f*ck all thermal expansion and all those wonderful things that actually makes a turbo spool up. leave this one for the civic with full sick neons bro

dont buy ebay turbos, they will die within a week. i dont think i've ever heard of these lasting that long, let alone getting good results. the KKR turbos have been getting alot of attention lately, and they are similarly priced to your first quote.

there has been much speculation as to whether or not the 32 GTS-t is legal or not, but the general rule is thats is legal (the early models were just out, the later ones just in as they were a bit heavier) but i havent heard much about people being done for this in a 32, 33's seem to be a much more popular target for police. as for fuel consumption, no idea, but i'd guess around 400km a tank?

the system that was already in place (125kw per tonne) i think was a good system for its purpose, but the list of restricted cars thing like in NSW is just a load of sh*t. last time i heard about that, u werent aloud to drive the merc C180K, with its nearly 2 tonne mass haveing an awesome 108kw to propell it, smart cars i believe were banned to, with blistering acceleration of 0-100km/h in 11 secs, yet things like S2000's were perfectly legal the list has probly been changed now, but i think even a brand new M3 was legal for a while, probly still is. im hopefully gonna get my Ps in a few months, and this is something i've been watching closely. i personally think these laws aren't gonna make things worse, but they aint gonna get that much better like you think it would. why do i say this, well think about it, im going to get my P's soon and theres nothing i can do to get a reasonably quick car, so what am i to do... eureka! im going to go down to my local honda/yamaha/kawasaki/suzuki dealer, hand over my small sum of money (and by small sum, i mean i couldnt even buy a decent R32 with it, bikes are that cheap), and straight off the showroom floor go out and do 200km/h+, and it'll get there in half the time of a car, with the added bonus of being less stable than a car with none of the safety, which last time i checked, added up to a grand total of being about 20-30 times more likely to be killed. and no, i dont plan on buying a bike myself, but everyone here seems to know how stupid and irresponsible young people are, so theres gonna be no shortage of P platers that do want a bike.

check the for sale section. check carpoint/carsales/trading post. i would probably buy a 32 GT-R here rather than import, as they are gettin farely old now, and it would be worth it to see it in the flesh and get a mechanical check on it to foresee any potential dramas which is inevitable on one, just go find the one with the least issues. PS i know that there are always good ones without problems, and im not saying there a bad car, just alot of em i've seen hav little things wrong with them

why so cheap... why u selling? VN SS's are almost that cheap now and your sellin a race car for the same price... is the rego full rego or one where u have limited kms each year?
