  1. Use an RB30 or RB26 gasket and with 25DET it's the head that needs welded.
  2. I would say it was a nice night, but it was fkn terrible weather Good to meet a couple of new faces and catch up with a few old ones! Good luck Ruby, stomp some fools for us! P.S. roads were slippery on the way out
  3. I'll be there.. with bells on
  4. I think it's up around 1680kg
  5. There's bearings in a harmonic balancers?
  6. Look into a new Ross balancer and as kidafa said, what did they do to your current one? probably dropped it..
  7. What about 2 carparks north of there, that John Wilke road or whatever it's called, nice and cosy, is there bbq's in those huts?
  8. BBQ's close to our cars please
  9. So bad things only happen south of the river hey? bad stuff has happened between Hillarys and Quinns in the not too distant past and there were some guys hanging out in a Trigg carpark on motorbikes that got rammed by some people in a stolen skyline a couple of weeks ago. Just sayin'. After dark in Perth isn't as safe as it used to be I'd like to have a nice quiet bbq, not have to deal with a bunch of drunk idiots.
  10. Anywhere we're not likely to get stabbed? I've always got my maglite in the car but I can bring my sword too if needed.
  11. I'll have a search for my post with the cog tooth count vs final drive ratios.. the 17T standard Navara cog is a pretty close match for my 3.9:1 diff gears (reads 7km/h high), you need the correct toothed cog to suit your diff gears.
  12. On phone to chuckie right now, tentative for Sat evening, just gotta find some bbq's at Hillaries.
  13. What exactly is happening? the fact that you say "some type of spring" makes me think the pedal is going to the floor and not coming back.. if that is the case then you most likely have snapped your clutch fork pivot. As far as taking the gearbox out, you'll need ramps/stands, a couple of jacks, some reeaaally long extensions and someone to help you. If you have access to a hoist and a gearbox jackstand, it will make life a LOT easier. Someone else with more time can write up what needs done.
  14. If it's RPM related I would be looking at the input side of the gearbox, if it's speed related I would be looking at the output side of the gearbox, the tailshaft or the diff.
  15. Where abouts is said event? might be able to organise something close the the venue..
  16. IGN ON means turn the key to the ON position, not start the engine. Forget about the first "release" of accel. pedal, I assume they just mean make sure it's not pressed at that point. To get the car out Park with the IGN off, you have to push the red SHIFT LOCK button next to the shifter.
  17. Anyone know where this guy lives? Still waiting for the swaybars I paid for 3 weeks ago
  18. Count me in, not Saturday day though.
  19. I thought the shifter was different due to having a transfer case hanging off the extension housing.. must be wrong though, haven't looked at one in a LONG while. I did have my RB25 shifter in the RB20 box before I upgraded so I definintely know that works.
  20. R&R? spark breaking down? A list of mods would help..
  21. Got an xforce full 3" system on my wagon and it sounds mint
  22. You could pretend it's a diesel
