  1. I didn't even see that kind of cash for my 30th!

  3. Hey Dunc, I couldn't remember if you had one already of not, but you interested in an HDi kit? You'll need one prior to getting that eManage tuned :)

If not, feel free to hurl abuse at me for harassing you lol

(just saw your name as a visitor to Aaron and couldn't remember if you had a FMIC or not)

    Cheers,

    Cam

  4. Nah, Independant Battery Distributors in Frankston stock a number of maintenance free batteries that bit perfectly... with 2 year guarantee
  5. I am currently working on HDi to match the 10+ unit price on 7 units (we fell 3 units short) and once I have a firm commitment from them I will PM everyone with my bank details and amount. Once received, I'll place the order with HDi so, ideally, everyone gets their cooler kit prior to Christmas... Just remember to buy your slimline fan! Anyone wanting to get in at the last minute (good idea with the really hot months here in a couple of weeks), feel free to send me a Personal Conversation/post in this thread.
  6. I know it's the past, but I am just wondering what the guys that were going on about how Webber choked/is a hack thought when you heard about his broken shoulder http://www.autoracingdaily.com/news/formula1/mark-webber-felt-no-need-to-inform-red-bull-about-broken-shoulder/
  7. Yep, driver, passenger and 4 curtains
  8. haha, yeah I ordered one last week so should have it any day now, hope it makes a difference (can't see why t wouldn't). My PS3 has only started using the exhaust fan with Borderlands and GT5, not one of my other games seem to heat it up to the same extent (even with the cabinet door closed)
  9. I had better boost control with the turbosmart.
  10. Sad to hear mate but glad to hear you are planning to get another M35 Email sent re the pink wagon
  11. That is a nice looking R34 you have there, and since this is a Skyline Forum I will expect some flaming but a couple of reasons it hasn't sold YET are; 1. It is Christmas time. Not many people buy cars for Christmas and I dare say the people that do aren't in the market for a turbo Skyline. 2. You are asking $20k for a 12 year old turbo charged car with 100,000kms on the clock. 3. The amount of mods on it will have one of two effects on potential buyers - a) love all the work that has been done and will be prepared to pay for it and/or b) be wary of all the work done on it and think it has had a hard life being thrashed everywhere As I said before, really nice looking car mate... definitely one of the nicer 34 GTt's I have seen (to my taste anyway). Good luck with the sale
  12. Oh, that explains why you chucked the Turbosmart one to install the Blitz unit
  13. 370cc from factory
  14. * yawn * Where's the originality guys?
  15. Did I miss the answer to this question?
  16. Jon, what cooling do you use for your PS3? I just sit a pedestal fan in front of it and angle it to the lower front of the console (40GB version). Doesn't even turn it's thermal fan on (sits in a poorly ventilated tv cabinet).
  17. Indeed, it is the fan motor that gets in the way. Unless you are planning to push your car to over 300awkw, the blitz will be fine. I don't like the idea of cutting the reo bar as it does most of the intrusion protection/absorption/deflection for the front of the car. Having said that, if people don't want to spend the $30 of so on a slim fan, they can certainly cut the rear of the reo to fit the HDi (may need to play with the bracketing though). Glad to hear you are happy with the Blitz kit
  18. I would not been keen on repairing that car. It crashed at 110km/h on a wet freeway and went spinning down the road. Driver and kids all got out unscathed. Do you know what it hit? Nice to know that a 110kph hit leaves next to no damage to the occupants cell
  19. You would if you drove it dry mate. You should get another 120kms for so once the fuel light comes on (maybe more), but I remember you saying that you only run it down to the 1/4 tank mark?
  20. No, stock RX suspension is completely black (same as RS).... Are yours adjustable and are the springs light or dark blue?
  21. huh? You asked for an equivalent to Motul and since Mobil do not do a Group V oil, I pointed you to the Gulf Western Sougi S6000. You could also look at Redline, but I was thinking about value for your dollar. Trent (Status Tuning) will have the 300v or you could contact "Birds" about some Sougi S6000 as he is a distributor.
  22. That's cool man, I looked at the Blitz kit a couple of years ago... but was not impressed with the inefficient core (SE and CS kits), hence this group buy. I have found very few intercooler kits for the M35 that have as effective a core as the HDi (Dolphin uses a very, very nice ARC core, but is massively expensive and the Greddy Spec R HG is really good, but again quite expensive). Glad you are happy with your Blitz kit. This HDi kit only requires a slimline fan which can be purchased off eBay for $30. This is due to a larger core than the Blitz unit (300x600x76mm HDi vs 266x620x68mm for the Blitz)
  23. I have. It is made of brick and is commonly termed a garage It is definitely possible to get over 700kms before the light comes on whilst cruising at 100-120kph. It has been done a number of times and with a favourable road/breeze, 800kms when the light comes on is possible (rare though)
  24. Stock ECU & injectors (although they will be about at full cycle) Shell Vpower, Mobil 98 or BP Ultimate, no pinging. Intake and turbo back exhaust will be needed.. AND ideally a good intercooler
