  1. Yep, pretty easy, but quite fiddly. You'll need a 10mm small socket wrench with a small extension piece and will have to remove the resonator in your intake. Have a look at the rear of your heads and you should (maybe) be able to see a couple of green connectors. Feel next to these and you will locate the 10mm bolt. Undo bolt and do not drop it Sensor will just pull out To disconnect the sensor from the plug, push the end of the plug toward the sensor and then squeeze the tab and pull the plug off the sensor, you'll know what I mean when you see it (man, this'd be so much easier if I had an engine on a stand to take pics with) We have the same cam and crank angle sensors as VQ35de. Don't let anyone try to tell you differently. Hope that helps (and made sense?!)...
  2. Off Topic, but I just gotta say that I love how you gauge the success of your modifications Iain. If the wife's boobs hurt when in the car. You soften it suspension as that is the gauge of it being too hard. If no complaints about the exhaust volume, it is fine to stay. I guess it is all about knowing the threshold of the mrs, eh?
  3. Yeah, IIRC he bought a new "rear" undertray from Hornsby Nissan which had more metal on it.... or something
  4. Yep, and under the radiator drain too
  5. I have a spare lying around, but it might be worth waiting to see Craig's "quick release" design. It won't fit "all" EDIT: fixed thanks Aaron
  6. Yes, straight from Mine's, via alot of back and forth with Jesse (sorry Jesse ). Thanks for the diagrams, hope to get them from Aaron soon.
  7. MPS. Newish Mazda's are damn reliable (that's Ford out of the equation ) and even if something went wrong, parts are not overly expensive (that's VW out of the equation )
  8. No idea?? That's why i was interested in comparing differences between this and the Impul... Mine's generic tune (from memory) RPM limit raised to 7100 or 7300 (can't remember which) Boost raised to 1.1bar Speed limiter removed Throttle remap Fuel/timing remap Of course, the end user could specify whatever the hell they wanted (2bar boost and 7,500rom for instance) and all Mine's state is "yes, but please consider the risk"
  9. Yeah, but it doesn't have the same attitude. Aaron, here is the link for Noni's version
  10. Don't we do that for every race this year?
  11. Done. I'll let you know when you can pick it up. Or just run it without the bonnet ornament. It blocks out too much airflow anyway
  12. Agreed. Steps to transform ugly ARX into not-ugly 1. Acquire Axis front and rear bars 2. Get a custom grill made up (or pay through the arse for Axis grill, bonnet ornament and backing) 3. Colour code the lot
  13. Price is in your inbox mate.
  14. Yes, but it is 10mins, not 5. Well that's what has always happened to me No ebay sniping on Yahoo Auctions
  15. Aaron/Leon - Axis and ARX use the same flares, the only difference is the Axis flares are colour coded. RS/RX is the look you'll be after if you rip them off Aaron. Handy if you want to get a body kit.
  16. All about massively long static holds
  17. No, t he unit won't hold data. Trying to figure out and fix the issue
  18. Sorry I couldn't make it guys, I certainly did want to but had "difficulties" to deal with Would've been ace to see a line of Stagea's.
  19. Unless you're tracking the car, no need for dot5.1 so you should stick with dot4. I don't believe that dot5 is compatible with our ABS.
  20. What was the problem/how was it fixed?
  21. Hahaha, you can't compare their attitude towards JDM R35's to a V35. Nissan Australia stated from the start that they were going to release the R35 to the Aus market, so of course they are going to get pissy about imported R35's (understandably so). V35? Never even on the radar due to the global phenomenon that was the 350z. I dunno man, maybe it is an SA dealership thing. I've only had one dealership that wasn't interested in my car (Berwick Nissan), all the others thought it was "very nice" and interesting to work on something different. As an aside, why would you take a V35 to a dealership or mech to service? Just service it yourself. There really isn't much to it, there are cluey people on SAU that can help and mechanical parts are effortless to get both here and from the US.
  22. Yep, major is at 80,000kms. Just go by the 350z service intervals. I dunno why any dealership wouldn't touch a V35... it is just a 350z with a different face.
  23. In this instance... but a lot of people relate "EMU" with Engine Management Unit.
