Garrett 2860-5's FTW check out "The Alchemists" dyno results on here somewhere he changed from GT-SS to 2860-5's after like 3000 k's or so spool up almost identicle but made more up top, from memory wasnt an over the top built motor either just poncams etc, it a few beers to late for me to be to accurate I just brought a pair offa slide and the cost is better than the HKS tax too with most importantly the possibility of a little more power to boot.

What cams if you dont mind me asking?

With the tomei poncams is this sorta effort needed ie new springs, retainers, guides etc what about the bolts for the cam bearing holders?(not sure what you actually callem) are they like headbolts and need too be replaced, have been wondering especially about the springs this seemed like a good thread to ask in, sorry for the hijack.

I take it the fit on yours was nearly as good as the ones I got then, I was kinda disappointed Still havnt fitted them as I am not sure I can get a fit I will be happy with, will give it a serious go on this break coz they do look hot just fit shitty

newer drift ones I believe have three or at least two plus a plug you can use to vent to atmosphere or as a third fitting they are still small an sucky best bet is to get one welded up or do yourself if u have the gear,n the skill got one welded up as I dont have a welder was cheapish and big so actually legal for drags etc. will try n post pics when I get a chance was worth the stuff around I reckon atmo FTW

Does anyone know if the above is true for r32 GTR's particularly the parts regarding the viscous fan as that seems to be the killer Nissan want nearly $500 for the viscous clutch surely a Vl is similar/sameish usable has anyone tried bolting a 32 fan to a vl viscous clutch or vise versa?

Wanted radiator shroud and complete fan setup for 32 GTR mine came with a thermo and it just isn't doing it so need to replace the entire lot Need the viscous clutch, spacer?, fan and shroud hell even the bolts if ya got em so let me know cheers all

damn why now, Do they require much work to fit on a 32 would love em but are not that keen on modding the guards to much look so nice though

Kinda relevant i guess I think nissan have done a fairly good job with the stock rear wing on the 32gtr as at highway speeds and above i(we used to have unlimited speeds in the NT) if you line it up with the demister lines in the rearview you can very noticably see it drop as you increase speed and rise back up as you slow back down, try it u might be surprised. and no I dont think its due too weight transfer as you accelerate or from standing on the brakes to stop even if you slowly evenly accelerate its quite noticeable surprised me a little
