  1. unfortunately the avcr is nearly a decade behind and is one of the poorer performing boost controllers.

  3. the line you blew into is t'd under the plenum and one goes to the gates and to the the rear most vacuum fitting on the plenum and thats the "leak" you would have heard. Nothing to worry about.

  5. rb20? if so you need to make a t25 to t3 adapter, they work well but are limited to around 250, whereas the gt3071 will make MUCH more.
  6. unless your front pipes are oversize you wont run into any issues, in 10-odd years ive never had any issues.
  7. if you wire in your low level indicator cut out on the power source for your ebc it will revert to stock if triggered.
  8. funny ive installed maybe 20 (most likely more) and never had an issue with the top bracket, in fact the blitz kit has always come with different r33 and r34 brackets included... even pictured in the instructions. Id suggest reading them next time you do an install. The only kits ive found to be out are the cheaper JJR kits but for the saving 5mins of work is no biggie.

  10. Both junk, ignore these recomendations. They are heat soak kings. TBH there is no WAY IN HELL they support a consistent safe 220-230rwkw, we've proved how poor they are on numerous occasions. Their turn flow FMIC kits are magic though.

  15. ive had a few SR's pull that kind of number (20 psi) so yeah they definately are capable turbo's and congrats on the results, on an sr they are a little laggier than the gt2871 but just make sooo much more top end.

  17. i would go -9's follow r31 nismoids advice above except i would substitute the PFC for a nistune remap, the ramap can do everything the pfc can with R32 ecu. i like th -7's alot too, we do alot of them with nistune (and -5's) but many with -5's dont have the supporting mods to make the most of them which is frustrating.
  18. Turbo ECU Or remap the vl non turbo ecu. Easy.
  19. there is nothing to relearn, check base timing and cam timing. WOT and so forth reads from fixed tables, only the idle and cruise etc are "learning"
  20. it looks like too much piston to bore clearance, another cause can be incorrect timing causing it to rock on the way down. what are the piston crown and skirts like?
  21. should work, i use A/M gtr rails on rb25 neo all the time. The spacing is fine just the height is different.
  22. Should be able to keep fan and shroud with the 52mm.
