  1. So do others when they call you a cockhead. You may well be the best engine builder on the planet but your people skills leave a lot to be desired. You could do yourself and your business a favor by staying off the forum and allowing your customers to talk for you.
  2. X2. I couldnt crack 350 hp on semis then spun it out to over 500 with some hard streeters.
  3. After seeing how well my engine stood up to the work i put it through before the clutch explosion, I am not arguing with 3lit3 32. I dragged it, raced it, and generally did all you can do in a high performance car. On teardown the piston.s rings. and bore.s were still like new. He built it and is building the replacement and i wouldnt have it any other way.
  4. Theres one been sitting in an engine here for 8 months. Still waiting for the rest of the car to be finished before it debuts. Will be an interesting animal for sure.
  5. Just had a retro look at some of my temp figures before and after the location change of the oil cooler. On the strteet With the cooler mounted up in front of the radiator the oil temp would steadily climb till it reached water temp (84%) On the track water temp climbed to around 88/90% but the oil temp would go through 120%. After i relocated the cooler to under the front bar the oil temp on the street ran a degree or2 higher than water temp but never went past 93% on the track on a hot day. A marked improvement and well worth doing. Hey Aku. Is the Vinny of whom you speak the guy with the red 32 gtr, That was a quick car. The bimmer will have its work cut out trying to match it.
  6. Awesome result mate. It will be interesting to see where it ends. Funny thing about this thread, I actually just finished watching the animated movie "cars" before I logged in, The front of your skyline looks straight from the movie.
  7. Spot on mick, IDropped a lot of oil temp when i relocated from where your's is to under the front bar where it gets good airflow from the vent.
  8. Thats funny mate, My old lady just rolls here eyes and walks away shaking her head when we start the rb conversation. She better stay out of my shed tho, i have a sneaking suspicion it was the girl germs she left there that put the mocca on the clutch.
  9. Quite possible Cubester. And yes i do have those features and more. But until my bud with the similar setup and the 30 bottom end can take me down on the track I shall remain smug and conceited as to the superiority of my 25.
  10. Onya nightsky, I love the purist approach. I too will stay with the 25 det option and believe me, done properly it wont give too much away to some of the other options. Admittedly I did go for the solid lifter conversion and am glad I did. At 24 lb I see 510 rwhp with response to make some v8's envious. With a 35/40 (.82 rear housing) I am in positive boost as low as 2200 rpm and on full noise by 36/3700 rpm. At my local track (Qld raceway) there isnt a corner that I cant exit on positive boost in 3rd cog and it pulls like a bull in springtime all the way to the redline in every gear. Since the clutch explosion and ensuing teardown I have been pondering my options but at the end of the day i simply love what the humble little brother rb is capable of. Power delivery is extremely quick but quite smooth to boot, It isnt a lightswitch and is infinitely driveable both on the street and track. Good luck with the rebuild, we will be on a paralel build schedule i would imagine. Hope to see you around some day and we can compare 25 notes.
  11. Perhaps the gtr does have the wind up them a little. There was a time when their response would simply have been..Niss...who?
  12. This is some long labor for the birth of a 25.
  13. Edited for accuracy.
  14. Stunning result, But! "Built for response" ya say...hmmmmm....(Strokes beard)
  15. Tell her I have removed the door handles from the passenger side and i have a bottle of rohipnol. That should get her attention.
  16. There are pages of incidents where people have been carded for legal modz and sometimes no mods at all dude. (Tommah being the most recent example) Go near the spit in an import at your peril matter of fact, Go near the coast in an import at your peril.
  17. Rear brakes sold pending payment Loom sold pending payment HSD coilovers sold pending payment Radiator sold pending payment
  18. Just tell her to be ready next time. We'll see how farken bored she gets.

  24. Saturday arvo's are shit Duncan. You are flat out getting a couple of track sessions because of the numbers. There is far better value in the wednesday sprint and even better value still in the time attack sprint sereis run by Mountain runner on these forums. Its a tad more exy but you will get more than double the track time over the qr events.
  25. Lookin the schizz there Tone. Keep up the good work mate.
