  1. Does anyone have any details on the new EFR 7163 B1 frame turbo? Also what are the new turbine housing options that are coming soon? Cheers
  2. For that power level, a single 044 will be fine, even on E85. Unless you're running huge fuel pressure through those injectors, it can't be making more than 350hp at the wheels so it may be quite a happy dyno. That turbo is way, way too huge for that application. You could downsize turbo to a GTX2867R and make that power easily on E85 and it's be on boost WAY, WAY earlier. I'd just leave everything as-is except for ID1000 injectors and a fuel filter just before the rail and just keen an eye on the filter.
  3. griffonfamily, Your inbox if full or you have a setting not to receive PMs. If you still have those parts, I'm probably keen. Send me a PM. Cheers, Brad
  4. how does your CAR survive 40c days with air con ON? I HATE air con with a passion because i love my cars and air con is something i'd never do to them on a hot day.
  5. Something like this but a bit bigger maybe? http://www.gktech.com.au/front.asp?pid=11&ProductID=univ-nhfm A vertical flow core with tanks top and bottom would be what ur after. I'd go a small conventional FMIC (around 500x250x70 or similar) with inlet/outlet in the middle facing 45 degrees backwards then make up super short custom piping and a 315 degree bend straight off the throttle body and going diagonally down to the driver's side from there. A 2.25" hot pipe and 2.5" cold pipe would be heaps.
  6. The best rear lower control arm bushes by far are Cazman Industries Delrin bushes. They're like a solid HARD plastic that doesn't wear. WAY better service life than rose joints with all the advantages. For the upper bushes, I'd recomment SuperPro. If the car is lowered, put offset bushes on both ends of the camber arms, the outsides of the traction arms and the outside of the toe arms. Put normal centered bushes on the inside ends of the traction rods and toe arms. This will make your camber and bump steer really, really good. So U want: - Cazman Industries rear lower control arm bush kit - 2x SuperPro SPF1869K - 1x SuperPro SPF2296K Use one pair of offset bushes from one of the 1869 kits on the outer toe arm bushes and use the centered outer toe arm bush from the 2296 kit on the insides of the traction arms. Set all offset bushes to max length setting.
  7. I'd go 255/35R18 for same as stock OD and a bit of stretch to give u the look ur after. Will look SICK
  8. I thought bolt spacing and caliper offset were the same and it's just the bolt holes that are different which is an easy fix. I could be wrong though. They should be interchangeable with R34 GTR brakes.
  9. The more tyres people buy from the US, the more expensive tyres in Australia will get. You need to support the Australian official importers of the tyres because the more they buy from Japan, the cheaper they can get them for which is why they are cheaper in the US. The more you buy from the US, the cheaper US prices will get in comparison to Australian prices. I really wish stoogebags would stop doing this.
  10. If U only want 270rwkw, I'd go a BorgWarner EFR 7064. It'd be insanelt responsive and make that power. If ur set on a Garrett, GT3076R 52 Trim. U do not need the 56 trim for that power level.
  11. The .86 option is a standard T25 frame housing rather than the compact so new dumps would be needed to be fabricated. .86 is way too big for 1.3L of motor IMO.
  12. best bet is new Bilstein shocks all round, king low springs all round, offset caster rod bushes, subframe bush inserts and offset camber arm bushes. About $1600 total and will TOTALLY transform the car.
  13. U don't need a 2" screamer for a 2.5L motor unless u have a massively flowed engine trying to run like 5psi of boost. Make up a 1.75" screamer and get a 1.75" hotdog muffler from an exhaust distributor. Run it alongside the exhaust system and end it about half way along the gearbox.
  14. RB30. way better rod/stroke ratio than an RB28 stroker in an RB26 block.
  15. 555's are fine for -7's! Save your coin. If you are really not comfortable with the duty cycle you're getting to, chuck a Nismo FPR in the factory position and bump the fuel pressure up a bit.
  16. 20x10 +35 WILL NOT clear the front wishbone thingy. If U want big wheels, PLEASE consider 19's! Why did you buy an amazing performance car if you're just gonna take the performance away and rice it up? Try and find some 19x10 +15 and get some 265/30R19's. It won't handle as well as stock wheels but is probably an acceptable compromise between performance and bling.
  17. Powertune do a GT30 low mount manifold with ext gate I believe.
  18. Yep. Jesse Streeter ([email protected]). I just ordered a set of the new Road & Track coilovers for my Liberty and a set of different rate springs to suit.
  19. I think it's great. Stops all the ricers from buying them (ppl who generally don't have the proper supporting mods and give bad names for turbos by posting dyno graphs). I know ppl who refuse to consider one due to the looks of the turbo. Silly people!
  20. Has that been separately tuned to the same knock threshold and AFR with both turbos or just the new turbo bolted on and dynoed?
  21. Yeah I didn't be more specific before. The 90 trim TURBO part number is .86 but has a housing option for .64 and the TURBO part number for the 84 trim is .64 but has a .86 housing option. I assumed the turbo is just an off the shelf Garrett part. My bad. Ah shit forgot about HKS T2 flanges
  22. The T2 GT3071R .86 has a rare 90 trim turbine wheel. U need an HKS GT2835R .73 or .87 turbine housing. It MUST be to suit the R, not the GT2835.
  23. The GT2876R has a 53mm turbine wheel, same as the GT2860RS and GT2871R. It is a TERRIBLE mismatch of turbine to compressor. U get no more than the power of a GT2871 R but the lag of a GT3076R. Even garrett state on their web site that it's not for normal performance applications: * Best suited for unique applications such as asymmetric turbo installations * Not recommended for general performance applications You're really gonna get HUGE gains from a GT2835 or GTX3071R or GT3076R. The GTX3071R would be my pick.
  24. 555cc injectors, a BorgWarner EFR 7670 and a tune to suit. (OK that's more like 3k but boy will u love it)
