  1. Nismo engineered this car to the best of their ability. Why would your Dad want to change anything on it at all? I'm calling BS anyway. Hey Snowman, has Ben at Race Pace worked on the Z Tune before? Nice guy BTW. Did he get rid of the purple R33 GTR and buy a white 34 GTR?
  2. Hasn't someone done this already in a 34GTT? I think they had a lot of balancing issues with the front being too heavy aswell. I'm pretty sure it's a drift car, or they use it for drifting aswell. Red in colour if my memory serves me correct.
  3. Can you get the R34 GTR for some sort of special price? If not, keep your 33 for a while and enjoy the work you've done to it. 34 GTR's will always be around and will probably come down a bit buy the time you are ready to sell.
  4. I do believe you can import certain month year 2000 S15's aswell. There are a few around.
  5. I read this article a while ago. Unfortunately it's 'hearsay'. We'll have to wait for the official figures.
  6. Link? Proof please.
  7. I agree. Gearing can play a huge part in launches. Maybe the GTR will have different gear & throttle modes ranging from subtle (city driving) to aggresive (launching), as with Ferrari's and the like.
  8. Going on the figures presented (not official yet) the GTR is just as quick in a straight line. But is over 100kgs heavier, and doesn't make the same torque as the 997 turbo at the same revs (makes it later in the rev range). Unless it has far superior tyres, and the GTR's aero-dynamics cause half as much drag (joking) I don't see how the 2 could be exactly as quick as eachother in a straight line. We are essentially comparing apples with apples here. Same top end power, both AWD (not full-time), both turbo etc. What makes the GTR just as fast with the huge weight disadvantage it has?
  9. Tell us why it does then?
  10. Nice figure! What business are you getting into?
  11. Looking at those figures, the GTR does the sprint in the same time as a 997 turbo, but it is over 100kgs heavier, and makes the same torque but at higher revs. Does that make sense?
  12. Why's is that? Is the Skyline more fun to drive?

    New Gtr

If the 997 turbo is not a 'Super car' (and it isn't) and the GTR is benchmarked on it, but only just quicker, then I'm afraid the GTR is not a 'Super Car' either.
  14. That friggin sucks mate! Hope the bastard gets a criminal record!
  15. So the whole Xbox 360 has a life-time warranty, or just the cooling fan? + when did you buy this system? (how old is it?)

    New Gtr

I know they call Porsche's 'Porka', but if that's the official weight of the new GTR, we might just have a 'Porka' vs. 'Porky' show down. The GTR doesn't sound like the most entertaining car from a complete stop at that weight. Hmm. Have to weight and see!
  17. Did you put the red light up fascia on your car yet? I wanna see!
  18. You have to state a price.
  19. I think this tops everything so far.... http://www.autoblog.com/2006/07/21/barabus...-mph-top-speed/ As for putting down all that hp off the line is another thing entirely. Would need some pretty good slicks!
  20. Why are you selling?
  21. Anyone have a good condition series 1 rear fascia in Melbourne they want to sell?
  22. When I conjure thoughts of a what classifies as a 'Super Car', I personally think of; the epitome of design (external & mechanical) from that manufacturer for the time, exclusivity, raw power (500bhp+, depending on the era), limited run made, not an everyday car, is road legal, aerodynamic low profile, carries a big price tag & probably without a lot of luxuries to keep the weight down. This debate has been an interesting insight into what everyone classifies a 'Super Car'. I still think it's mirky between what is a sports car, and what is a Super Car though. Put it this way, if a Rex can be made to be as quick around a track than a GTR, would this also be thought of as a Super Car by some?
  23. Well, a good looking one anyway. I forgot about that one.... probably because it's fugly! I do stand corrected though. Nice pick up.
  24. Anyone more offers?
