  1. Seen these ages ago and the first thing I thought was.... damn they are going to be ugly once you scratch them and they go cloudy etc etc.
  2. Whoa that sure is ugly! I'd take a chainsaw to that thing!
  3. Shadow tint spray.
  4. Any performance modifications made to cars IRC are illegal for P platers to drive aswell. Better clear that up before you buy the EB.
  5. What are you looking for? (as in trade options)
  6. I can vouch for the N15 SSS. Great punchy little car with the SR20 and heaps of fun. Good on fuel too. I used to have one before my R33.
  7. That looks really nice! Do you mind me asking how much you picked it up for?
  8. What's the fuel efficiency like?
  9. This has the 2.5L engine doesn't it? How many kW's does it generate?
  10. I've driven the Boxster S tip-tronic and it was weak. Actually, performance wise it's pathetic for that money. Cayman S I have never driven but by all accounts sounds like a really good car in almost every respect. However I've never driven one. IMO, the Boxster is not worth the price tag unless you are just looking for status. The S2000 isn't as luxurious or prestigious as the Boxster, but a lot more punchy and fun. Again though, they are not worth the money either. The MX5 seems the best out of the bunch for the money. I've had the privilage to drive in a few nice cars so far. My dream car (at the time) was a Lambo Diablo. But after 5 mins I wasn't that thrilled. Too cramped, crappy finish (I was shocked about this especially) and crappy gearbox. Would have been better if it was kept a fantasy. Best car I've driven would have to be the Porsche 911 turbo & the Audi RS4 in a close second. I used to know someone who was a car review editor.
  11. $15,000 will buy you one fairly decent with a few niggles. $17,000 should buy you one with no hassles. Look for if it has had the belts changed, regular services/oil changes, good gearbox, no rattles etc etc. Basically look at all the internals first and foremost. Your priority should be the overall condition of the car. Not exhaust, rims etc. If I could go back I would buy one that had already been owned and driven by someone who did all the regular maintenance. It's so much less of a hassle. When I bought mine (which I am the first owner in Aus) I had a full tune, timing belt changed, new Iridium spark plugs installed, compression test, all fluids replaced with high quality products, an alarm that complies with insurance (most alarms don't which void your warranty if broken into). I spent around $2,000 on all this including labour. Then I had insurance! But my R33 runs like a dream and I treat it well. I see a lot of shitty R33's going around that look neglected and don't sound so good. So it's best to search around until the right one comes up.
  12. Now that would be a really hard choice! The Exige would be sooo much fun! But the GTR, well that is Japan's only super car... and it's a GTR!!! There's something about that badge.
  13. I've used the Caltex Vortex 98, BP Ultimate, Mobil Synergy 8000, Shell V Power & Shell V Power Racing. The Shell V Power Racing is far superior than any of the others I have found. The car runs so smoothly and has more 'get up and go'. I'm lucky to have one 5 mins down the road from where I live. Once you've tried the V Power Racing you won't want to go back to anything else.
  14. What size is the HD? Also, does this come with an intercooler (heat-sink)? Have you got any copied games?
  15. I drove a Porsche Boxster S a few years ago and I was dissapointed with it's lack of power. I didn't even think it was that special to drive either. An RB25DET Skyline will walk all over it. But I guess I was comparing the Boxster to an S2000 so that might have influenced my decision. The S2000 is a beautiful car to drive and soooooo much fun!
  16. WTF!? Your family is more important than any car. How could you even think this?! That's just immoral dude.
  17. I was joking! I just thought it would be appropriate that the seller states he/she is selling vests with SWAT written on them. Not SWAT vests, as they are clearly not.
  18. So there's basically no difference?
  19. Why bother? Just get a coupe if you like the look better.
  20. Do these come with armour plating?
  21. I just want the torque of an 8 (or VQ35) off the line. Off turbo the RB25DET feels dead.
  22. lol :laughing-smiley-014:
  23. Yeah that's the only downside. Trying to get everything to mate up easily. I'm guessing this would be a very expensive job! Even the VQ35 without the turbo in a R34 would be awesome. I really miss the low down torque!
  24. Arghh I hate needles! Not for me sorry. I feel bad though
