  1. Hey what happened to the pics?!?! nark - so you comin down to the airport area for a cruise after I pickup my car?
  2. Do NOT do this. This ain't a private school daddy does NOT get you off. This is "improper use of motor vehicle" and has it's own charge. I am not a lawyer but that is my *reasonable* interpretation - so someone legal-minded may correct me but I'm 99% sure of this.
  3. I've had my plates taken too. I drove it home. Don't worry about the cops. Do this - 1. get the numbers from the car (vin number and whatever else info) 2. go to your road worthy people (VicRoads isnt it in vic?) 3. get a temporary unregistered car driving permit ($30?) and stick it on your car 4. drive it home/pink slip place 5. re register it after you get a pink slip dont worry bout the old plates OR don't re-register it and get a new car or whatever but yea If you live 200m away skip steps 1-3 DO NOT ADMIT to driving it or doing ANYTHING illegal. DO NOT answer when questioned how it got there for gods sake DON'T admit anything! Don't lie either just say you'd rather not say. If they keep pushing you just say "I wouldn't like to answer as I may incriminate myself by doing so." Quite simply they can assume you drove it there but without your admission of guilt they can't prove it - so I say again DO NOT ADMIT TO DRIVING IT. - Chances are noone will ask you anyway. Just get it re-registered/getit home and you'll be right. Then you can decide to re-reg it or wreck it. Good luck champ.
  4. West - sorry to hear about your bad luck. All the best. I hope your friend sells his car/house/lung to help you out. To everyone else crying about his mate not having a license - what difference does it make it had no insurance! The issue is his mate WROTE IT OFF not that he was unlicensed.
  5. off topic - what's la mean? when's it used?
  6. I was hoping to get DBA 4000's slotted not drilled all round and keep the GTST calipers but the only skyline dba 4000's made are for GTR so I wouldn't sure if it would fit. Is that a good upgrade (with some decent pads)? Is that sorta what you'd look at nark? Can't afford GTR calipers : cefiro-rb20 - Can't help about the handbrake - checkout www.meggala.com there should be some technical info there.

  8. Sweet. thanks Mik. Good to know the price beforehand! Just outta interest where bouts are they?
  9. I hate parking cops/rangers. I bet they go home and tell their parents they're prostitutes and thats how they make a living just so their parents don't have to be ashamed of their real 'profession'.
  10. Spotted Friday morning outside Jamison Square on Warringah Road. HCR-320 with SAU stickers all over it. black wheels and some guy with blonde spikey hair inside looking hard O_o actually not really he just had a smile on his face haha Looked nice whoever it was but needs to be de-winged imo

  12. Under $400 you reckon?
  13. Doh. I'd be under 25. Any place you could get an evo or something then?
  14. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/newsevents/2004_...iew.html?hhid=1 mentioned there. the way they put it there actually makes sense.. i think i support THAT part they advertise.... but I'm not entirely sure tehy havent stuffed a whole bunch of other stuff in there i wont like and they're not gonna advertise.
  15. It all depends if on your ticket the little box that says court appearance is ticked or not. If it's not then it's 6 months suspension, 6 points and the $1599 or whatever it is. If it's ticked, the above is the minimum (it's legislated like that) and the judge can do more. Max $2200 I think and dont know bout suspension. If this results in loss of points it's extra 3 months (unless court, again judge can do whatever that is only minimum). My advice to you is foremost if you have money get a lawyer - but be prepared not to save any money. Secondly if you can't get a lawyer don't go to court IF you intend to plead guilty and get a smaller fine/punishment .. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN these are legislated minimums. If you go to court you'd better have some good shit to front with. Also a tip to you - under freedom of information request all records pertaining to your charge be released to you. Also request the officers record of traffic convictions (if poss) and their radar (i think its usually a silver eagle or something) calibration certificate. Also get their highway patrol certification. But yeah traffic lawyers know all the angles.
  16. Just heard on the news 3 demerit points for parking offenses.. ABC news only mentioned in specific areas. I THINK THIS SUCKS!
