  1. they are not bad as far as aftermarket recliners go, but they are definately not the same quality/finish as the genuine 34 GTR seats. personally I would hunt out some really nice condition 34 GTR seats if that's what you want.
  2. day is off to a good start. accidentaly slept in. had a nice big lunch at sky phoenix. hopefully going to collect the 33 this arvo. then a nice dinner tonigh.
  3. -5s are larger than N1s. more like an HKS GT2530 in housing and wheel sizes.
  4. I'm taking down names! so far oof is the only one on my do not ban list! the cheek, on my birthday and all I still get's no respect!!!!! bastards.
  5. haha, can't argue with that! the first wheel with built in AI!?! thank you starcorp!
  6. lol, i am friendly on my birthday, but I may wish to take revenge and remove your thread changing rights that you covet so dearly....
  7. thanks guys. and you can't call me beer bitch on my birthday corrine! shame on you. it's beer baron or sir thanks. otherwise I'll change your user name to beer bitch's bitch...
  8. cool, it's dave's birthday today too. happy birthday mate
  9. you're all beer bitches. I'm the beer master.
  10. I think the real problem is why are you locking brakes? generally when you are locking brakes into a corner any unloaded wheel will lock first as obviously it has less grip on the road/track so a given pressure will make it lock much more easily. so it could be tyres, could be road surface but again, I think the first order of business if find out why you are locking brakes.
  11. steve has a set of starcorp impuls they didn't fail but all the chome flaked off after not too long.
  12. lol, "he ran wide" haha kubica pushed him off the track as a bit of payback. go poland! I want to see webber and kubica in either mclaren or BMW. that would be a kick arse pairing. and at least kubica has proven he has the balls to go wheel to wheel, and more importantly when it doesn't come out in his favour (like it didn't at fuji) he is a big enough boy not to whinge about it. he knows he gave as good as he got and has to just take it on the chin.
  13. hi mate, whenever I need another assistant I just go to quay appointments (or sometimes select). they can usually send me someone next day. rate for a basic photocopying/data entry person is around $20-$25 though.
  14. can you tell I'm bitter!?!?! lol. if mark goes through the rest of his career without a win I will be bitter about this for many years to come. at least if he takes a win somewhere else I won't feel so bad.
  15. it was 4th. and I'm sick of DC being there to catch the scraps from marks table when he either gets: 1. taken out with car failure 2. taken out by some muppet 3. poor strategy effectively takes him out anyway. BASTARD!
  16. I have to be honest. cheap rims are not just about weight. they do look cheap to me. and in my eyes it really brings down the look of a car. nice rims change the look of a car so much. same goes for tyres too. and as funky has demostrated the other aspect of cheap rims is they quality and safety is not always up to par.
  17. I think you guys need some serious driving practice. I haven't driven a clutch yet I couldn't get the hang of within half an hour. I my own cars I've had standard, nismo single, heaving duty exedy single, OS twin (solid centre) OS tripple (solid centre) and quickly adapted to all of them. I've also driven tilton twin, carbon single, and various twins, singles and tripples. with my OS tripple I never stall it, can do hill starts no problem. even with a small 'take up zone' all you need is a small amount of clutch control to drive it easily. so practice up.
  18. I wouldn't break out the cheque book just yet guys. there are a couple of things that can give incorrect results. I would be happy with 150 in all 6 cylinders as long as it's even. how was the test done? hot? how much time cranking? what type/brand of gauge? how good is the battery? throttle open?
  19. I would get the test done again. 180 is very high. and varience of 30psi is not good news at all.
  20. or perhaps "... not bad for a convict". lol.
  21. yep, the tomei dumps are the best I've ever seen which is why I have set for my car. and I went for the twin 70m HKS front pipes to go with them. very nice quality and the pipes are welded to the flanges on the inside which gives a much nicer finish and no overhang. The HKS dumps (and the copies) are too small imo. sure split is a good idea but in practice you end up with two tiny pipes than then merge again after only a few inches and go to a 60mm outlet. not good.
  22. yeah we shouldn't torture ourselves much longer. imagine what the comentators would have said about webber had he won? "brilliant drive by mark webber, drove nearly the whole 60 laps with a helmet full of spew, and hussled his inferior car around without any mistakes to claim his maiden victory. a well deserved win by the australian."
  23. russ, what were the old dumps that cracked? hopefully not the tomei ones as that what i'm using in my car! tomei manifolds too.
