  1. yes i've seen it before where you get oil in coolant, but no coolant in the oil. not a good sign i'm afraid.
  2. only too happy to oblige! Tein circuit master RA. All alloy shock. These are really good value race shocks. lightweight, good pistons, plus you can use EDFC with them which means you can set up the damper adjustment in about 20 laps instead of lots of trial and error. They are about half the price of my ohlins and about 1/5th the price of giants inverted hard corey ohlins. I think brand new they are bout the $3000 mark. Many quick circuit cars in aus and japan are using these. oh, and I'm selling my set pictured. haha, had to get that in there.
  3. nice one. great colour and perfect wheels for it too. I'm sure you will love it.
  4. for sure. I now run all rose jointed arms except for the front upper control arm. castor rods, traction rods, rear upper arms all rose jointed (nice big 3 piece bearings, stainless shell and tight silicone boots). front upper control arm is noltec adjustable arm as I didn't have much success with the dog bone type one. but the noltec one has been good so far.
  5. with the breathing thing I know john runs on both diff and gearbox basically an expansion tank. so he runs the breather up to a small tank which is ventilated. the GB oil can be thrown up into this little tank, then drain back into the box. basically just like the radiator expansion tank. seems like a good, simple idea. could be worth a go.
  6. ok cusco 1 way it is. I think the unsteer can be cured simply by repeating over in over as I'm driving: "slow in, fast out. slow in, fast out. slow in, fast out. slow in, fast out. slow in, fast out. slow in, fast out. slow in, fast out. slow in, fast out." haha. but I always want to brake that little bit later which definately hurts mid corner and exit speed. atm, turn in is super sharp. front: 3.2 degrees neg, about 9 degrees castor, 1.8mm toe out each side. rear is 1.8 degrees neg, 0.00 toe and traction rod set for a more upright upright. hicas locked of course. I'm thinking about knocking back the castor a bit to about 7 degrees. make front toe 1.5mm each side on the front and maybe a little toe in on the rear as it's a bit hairy under brakes atm. razor sharp turning in, but I find my self backing it into corners a bit more than i'd like. particularly the big stops like just after the kink at oran park GP.
  7. yeah you were too fast for me! thanks.
  8. haha, thanks. you don't have to worry about me snapping at your heels just yet! sounds good. I am prone to getting on the power perhaps a little too hard too early, but I can learn to deal with wiping out that. what brand/model?
  9. russ, are you running a front LSD? and if so which one, and what do you think of it?
  10. lol, I know. I have a good excuse though this time. I'll be driving a formula ford.
  11. I'm talking about this.
  12. guys, he's using an aftermarket gauge. unless all R32s have oil pressure peak hold and warning and I somehow missed it...
  13. oh, and this place is really good. I eat there way too much. I don't think I'll be able to make this one (again ) as if things go my way I'll be out at Oran Park all day.
  14. ok, so ben has a 1.5way in his 33, but what I really want to hear is someone who has used one, or even just driven a GTR with one fitted (hard!). curious to see what kind of effect it has on handling and whether that effect(s) will suit my driving style.
  15. I thought that was tepannyaki? oh wait a minute...... lol.
  16. well if it's already missing some clips sell me one out of the rest pretty please I can't stand trying to explain what I want from nissan, then getting the wrong part
  17. what kind of gauge is it? and what sender is it hooked up to? the standard one, or one that came with the gauge?
  18. there is a simple solution here. get them tested.
  19. I still can't believe they didn't strip drivers points as well as constructors. pretty typical half arsed limp wristed punishment from the FIA as usual. If maclaren did cheat (and I'm not saying they did, but the FIA is) then the drivers that benefit from that cheating should be penalised just as much as the team. how can they escape penalty when they gained from it the MOST.
  20. does anyone have a wrecked one that wants to sell me one of the clips? one of mine fell out recently appart from that the liner is mint thank god!
  21. well personally I don't currently and never have owned any imitation or cheap chinese wheels because I can't stand them. I currently have enkei NT03s, weds sport TC-05s and BBS LMs all genuine and all lovely. but of course they cost $$$.
  22. you can't advertise your ebay auctions here mate. closed.
  23. sorry mate you can't take orders for the sale of parts you don't own. if you are a business and want to take orders for parts then please contact Blitz or Prank about becoming a registered trader. closed.
  24. sorry mate, you can't take orders for parts you don't have in our for sale section. closed.
  25. they will be pretty heavy. they are a cheap-ish wheel. not terrible, but not very good either. they are cast so will not be too light. the one thing I don't like so much about lenso is many of their popular wheels are copies of good japanese designs.
