hey guys, I've seen this car and heard it run. paint is pretty average and it needs some side skirts but appart from that it's pretty good. sounds good, idles well, has good oil pressure. and I'm sure there is all the paperwork there etc so no way is it stolen or dodgey, it's got sevs compliance so can be registered easily. I mean obviously it's not going to be mint for $12300 but come on, it's cheap which means you have plenty of money left to give it some love, or some mods, or whatever.

the previous owner says 1 year, 5,000kms but I don't know for sure. they are not rusty, or leaking, or bent. a couple of the threads are damaged a bit but it's way up near the top where you would never have the spring seats, I have NFI how they got like that. you can see both the fronts and rears in the pics and should be able to judge condition fairly well from that. the rears have the fork on the bottom, fronts have the eye. hth.

Show Me Your Racing Machines

it may seem fine. and laser alinger may be top shelf for a truck or whatever and maybe some laser machines are better than others. this was the latest beissbarth machine. maybe 1 month old when I used it. and it doesn't take a genius to figure out where they fall down. they have those 4 massive things hanging off each wheel so the slightest movement with the car or someone farting etc sets them moving and figures bounce around. old school is best. trust me. we are talking tenths of a mil in measurement either so the amount of accuracy is crucial and those type of machines just don't have it. I'll see if I can get you a pic of the traction rods. there you go (it's the gold ikeya arm): -
well you guys posting has encouraged me to get off my ass and post some more pics. so update coming soon.

Hey guys, to all that pm'd me saying they would buy it if sale fells through, I'm sorry but the sale didn't fall through. It was picked up and paid for over the weekend. SOLD. and yeah, never ran it in my car, I was going to put it in there during this round of upgrades but decided to stick with the AFM PFC and use this money elsewhere

Site Is Really Slow.
Beer Baron replied to The Mafia's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
it's definitely not universal cause the site loads quite fast for me. using verizon at work and swiftel at home. even though my work connection is approx 10 times faster than home the load time of pages is not that much different unless they have lots of images. -
I am in for a little carpark fracas on lewis and vettel. show them a bit of aussie hospitality. I can be proud that I've never been on the lewis wagon and now public opinion is starting to turn against him it's bringing all the other crackpots back to my side of the fence! let's hope webber magically gets a drive at maclaren and that when he does the car doesn't flip upside down on him.

trust me, unless it's mint, and has history and is in original condition it would be worth about $1000 more than a comparable condition regular GTR. and as a bare shell it's worth no more than any other shell. and yes they had a standard RB26.
-
it will only ever be 'worth something one day' if it shows the following: owner history and service history and log books. car in original condition (factory wheels, exhaust, interior everything.) car in good condition (no major body repair or restoration) any of the original nismo options still in place I would agree yes if it has all that it will be worth some decent money in the future, and probably more money than a comparable non-nismo GTR. but I've never seen one in that condition and unless they are in that condition they are not really worth any more than any other GTR. as a bare shell they are definitely not worth any more.

happy birthday to you. happy birthday to you. happy birthday mr president.. happy birthday to you.

to be honest I don't think the nismo editions are worth much more than a regular GTR. V Spec and V spec II are but I have seen quite a few nismo edition GTRs go for the same money as regular GTR. and sadly like many 1990 GTRs a lot of the nismo edition ones I have seen were in terrible condition. I would much rather a nice condition 1993 or 1994 regular GTR, or a V spec/II over a 90 nismo edition.

don't start multiple topics on the same thing subie.

lol, I don't care if he can steer an F1 car with his nutsuck. I'll never forgive him. he took away what could well have been marks first win. I imagine his welcome in melbourne is going to be pretty frosty...

most trust parts are NOT made in china. some of their new cheapshit line of parts (like their type M intercoolers) are made in china. abo bob is saying he drove a car with a good quality oil cooler and just a standard radiator, and that combo controlled engine temp much better than his original set up of cheapie oil cooler and stock radiator. this meant he upgraded to a better than stock radiator (in this case cooling pro).

what a top quote: “Vettel was a bit wild behind me during the first safety car period and then did a very good job of hitting me very hard under the second safety car."
-
oh, and I will be waiting for vettel in the carpark at albert park in 08. that is of course if anyone lets the knuckle head drive anything faster than a taxi next year. I hope berger gave him a few good back handers and a friendly strangling like he did to scott speed a few months back. oh, and I'll be waiting for hamilton too. his holier than thou bullshit really burns my canoli. poor webber he drove a whole race with spew in his helmet, in his crappy little car, didn't put a foot wrong and when it counted he was quicker than the guy in front. all to be taken away buy his f**king junior squad team mate. possibly with some help by lewis.
-
I agree with everything except being robbed of second. he was robbed of a win I reckon. f**king c**ts.

c'mon mate, back up a bit. I wouldn't necessarily want to share how much my car cost either. but apart from that he may just have skipped the question. does it really matter which auction it was from or how much it cost anyway? I don't think owning a kick arse GTR has anything to do with attitude. in fact yours may be improved if you did own a record breaking GTR as it's not too flash at the moment. -
yeah 3am is a f**king joke. webber in 7th! yeah baby. god damn he is a good qualifier. with a decent car there is no doubt he'd be top 6 most of the time.

I was going to buy some but it says 'drift caliper' on the box. I wonder if they make a circuit version? -
lol, I thought once was just a typo, but my god I hope you hit spell check before sending it in!!!

yeah race solutions are good. i've had my car tuned there. but given the choice for a pre-purchase inspection I would go to UAS for sure. they are at seven hills. not that far from penrith. maybe 20min drive.
