  1. Yeah just block them, its a by pass setup and not crutial as no water flows through when the heater is turned off
  2. I don't know why people run the risk of a $10k fine for 0 performance gain by gutting the cat, when for a couple hundred you can get a good cat that flows more then you need, on top of that when the cat "ignites" it helps keep the gas hot and hot gas moves faster then cold I had an 80mm decat made for my 32 for drag racing, went to the drags did a run then changed to the decat did another run and they where both exactly the same time and speed, if your cat is a restriction then buy a new one that isn't
  3. This plus durability and longevity
  4. Revs won't kill an RB oil pump, sitting on the limiter will
  5. Haha yeah pretty much
  6. And put it on an alloy block and 3.0ltrs, that would be unbelievabley quick
  7. Who ever thought someone sporting two 044s would complain about pump noise It's character building lol
  8. Haha yeah I'm shit stiring, my sister inlaw just bought a brand new SSV ute with the six speed manual and other then the shity clutch, I was quite impressed with how far they have come, my father inlaw has a 2002 SS ute and I think that is a massive POS
  9. I've had my 32 since 2002 and I've had all manner of shit box try and race me, at one point I was going to put a GTS-4 badge on it but then I realised I should be proud of what my car is and just give the wannabes the bird and move on with my day
  10. Wait, what, they export the V6 pos for the rest of the world to see, thank fcuk they call it a chev distancing us from it
  11. It's a lot quieter then the 80mm jap exhaust I took off, it's not that loud until you get on the loud pedal then it gets up there, but idleing it has a nice tough murmur, Paul heard it tonight maybe he can comment on it I have GT-RSs on the car so I needed as much flow as I could fit under the car
  12. What do you call expensive for an exhaust, I had a custom one made for my 34, starts from dump pipes and consists of Twin 3" to twin 3" 100cell 5" bodied cats Then twin 3" to single 4" mid muffler Then 4" to the rear muffler I supplied And that was $1260 fitted, obviously, by Windsor Exhaust I would and did just get a custom one made up for the car, 3.5" for your car is what I would suggest I really don't understand why they wouldn't take the 5 mins it takes to drop the cat and remove all doubt, your paying for it so why not
  13. Put the SR20VE system on a 26, that would be interesting
  14. Those LS bitches get around don't they , do they put chev badges on them to or that something only the local bogans do
  15. I know I laugh at V6 commonwhores with chev badges, but chev badge on a chev powered car personally I have no issues with cause that is basically what it is
  16. Non GTR owner admiring his newly acquired fleabay fake GTR badge, given even the genuine badge was to much for them At the end of the day it's not the GTR owners that are patheiticly trying to make their car look like something it's not How is this not in the wasteland where it belongs
  17. $6500nz is good happy days Are you going to do a build thread
  18. Why did you put the same springs front and back given the R32 GTR is so off balance to start with, iirc when we corner weighted my 32 it was 900-/+ kgs front and 500-/+ kgs rear so you would want softer springs on the back
  19. I was quoted for a forged short block with sump extension I had to get welded, since I'm good with tools and can do most of the work myself I decided to build my own and did it for a fair bit less
  20. Let us know how you go with the quote from RIPS, now our dollar is shite, I was quoted $13k + postage when we where at $1.20nz
  21. When they dynoed it did they disconnect the 4WD and if so did they reconnect it, also if the LSD is two way and to tight it can unsettle the rear end on braking turn in which if like me you like to trail brake into corners is fine, if not learn to do it or get a 1.5 way Bring the front back to 2.5-3deg, closer to 2.5deg given the castor you've got Rear to 1.5deg and 1mm toe out which will zero out under acceleration but settle the car under braking Look into some adjustable Whiteline sway bars 24mm front 22mm rear
  22. Ahh yes that's right RSRs are an S compound, 2/2.5 on front Rear depends on suspension bushes use, you need more for rubber then you do for rose joints As for the Attessa, get the tweaker as Mr Stabby says and do the transfer case mod using the 33 preload setting
  23. I find that magnaflow make a good center muffler that fits nice and neat and is in 3,3.5 and 4" sizes I modified a HKS super drager rear muffler to make it 4" cause it has a big arse barrel around it meaning there was heaps of room for sound deadining around the 4" pipe At these power levels custom is the best way to get the flow and keep sound to a minimum
