  1. But not quite And in this case it is twin -5 turbos on a GTR
  2. That's right as it has twice the friction surface area and some depending on the clutch plate JB uses
  3. Yep, platinum racing adaptor Who is doing the machining ?
  4. Yeah mate, terry at award, he did the quaife in my front and it runs beautifully
  5. These are good as a center muffler http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/161166061648?nav=SEARCH And this as the rear muffler with two Crome tips for the stock look http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/161166061059?nav=SEARCH
  6. That cut out is dodgy as hell and if you put that in your front pipe here it would be an instant $10,000 EPA fine Not to mention it would drop back pressure from your engine leaning your motor out, do it properly and up grade the exhaust with the dump pipes you already have then a matching front pipe with a 3.5" outlet and the 3.5" cat back 3.5" exhausts can be made very quite with good quality mufflers, I had a custom twin 3" into single 4" made for my car and it is quieter then the 80mm jap spec that can off it
  7. Dynapack is a hub dyno where Paulie is on a chassis dyno so I think Paul is still ahead, just 3" exhaust IMO is to small for that power range and I'm sure you would pick up a fair bit with a 3.5", but as already mentioned drop the cat and run again and see if there is a restriction in the rest of the exhaust
  8. I had a similar problem many many years ago, not long after I got the car and it turn out to be one of the fuse links attached to the battery, worth a look
  9. +1 for the greddy kit, all pre made with no Fing around
  10. What car ? 500kw in a GTS-t is massively different to 500kw in a GTR GTS-t rebuild your twin plate, if its shot GTR go a hi-torque triple plate, which you can do if you have the Exedy "Nismo" twin by rebuilding it with triple plate centres
  11. ? One of the cranks, how many cranks does your engine have ? You have to line the balancer TDC mark up with the mark on its backing plate, then see if the two cam marks (one each cam ) line up with the marks on their backing plate
  12. Or very close to it, especially with a 1.68 60' What tyres ?
  13. R32 GTR full weight + some for stereo and me and I'm 100kgs plus 265/35/18s 291rwkw = 11.36@125 mph 1.78 60' Toyo TQs 293rwkw = 11.13@123 mph 1.59 60' with a few kgs removed, from car not me
  14. What Marko saidCongrats on the result
  15. If you have the stock setup still then go the -9s, going single setup will cost a lot more then direct replacements and there for not worth it if stock replacement will give you the power level your after
  16. Ok so it only nsw at this stage Speed limit of 30km/h, so I'd say only when cars are stationary at traffic lights And so we dont get rear ended sitting at traffic lights I personally do t do it unless there is a clean and clear line through and my bike is getting hot cause believe me you want me to hit your mirrors as much as I want to scratch my bike
  17. So it was announced today that as of the 1 July bikes will be legally allowed to lane filter Which means I no longer have to sit in a line of traffic watching my bike overheat cause I don't want to run the risk of getting caught and fined
  18. Oh yuk, get rid of them I suggest the UE cams to every one, they are a good setup and if I had of put some more thought into my head while the motor was apart I would have a set If you want to change cams with "boltins" then either stock or type R poncams
  19. What cams has it got ? And what are you looking at putting in it ? And for god sake don't say type B poncams
  20. Yeah, there are alignment markings, find TDC with the balancer then there is two marks on the plate behind the cam gears that should line up with the dots on the cam gears
  21. Your most welcome The one in the link I posted ?
  22. Yeah this, I had to machine the block, sump edge Then take 5 tho off the girdle and torque it down Then machine the bottom of the girdle for the adaptor plate Then drill and tap the holes to bolt the adaptor to as well as the sump bolt hole in the block had to be drilled and taped Then line bore the crank tunnel Then bore and hone and deck the block It's a lot of work involved compared to the other one
  23. Coming on 12 years now, I wear one set out ( bearings ) and am on the second set that have been in the car since 2008 I figured it was how you drive more then anything so I pick my moments and never hold them there long, ie no burnouts or trackdays on 19psi just drags and dyno runs
  24. They did the system in my 34, very nice work and at a really good price, I deffenintly recommend them
