  1. it's more the way the cams are set, making better use of the air it gets meaning the turbos don't have to working as had a good quality boost controller doesn't hurt either what mods have you got done ?, cause yeah that's not great at all, what boost is that ? cam gears ? if not get some
  2. Factory, its all stock in that run with a HKS EVC 4 controlling boost
  3. like this though the rpms aren't right, you get the idea
  4. Yeah not worth the money it costs to change
  5. http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogue/efr-set_camshaft_rset.html This is the tomei website, I can not find them there but do you care to have a look, I would be very suspecious of what it is you got, maybe post the part number when you receive them
  6. He is wrong, 270 x 9.15 will make it worse, they also don't make 270 poncams, 250 or 260 or type As whatever they are 250s might help but nothing bigger in duration
  7. Sorry their 68 http://www.owendevelopments.co.uk/article/76/NEW_Skyline_R33-34_twin_GT2668_HTA_turbos/
  8. Yes, Owen development has a bolt on twin GTX 2860 or 63 HTA with the CNC comp wheel
  9. Single turbos pfft asif
  10. I love my GTRs but so this for a track car, you buy a GTR cause you want one, if you want to go fast at a track get the EVO, preferable 7 on as older ones have a tendacy to do rear diffs I use to track my 32 a fair bit a do track the 34 both with no oil mods just over full to the bump in the stick and while doing that no issues with oil surge
  11. If you can fit a 4" in there and noise isnt an issue then go the 4", it will well and truly cover you now and ANY possible upgrade you do later
  12. Location ?, I believe they do not fit 4dr as the 4 dr cabin is longer And that's a 6 point as it bolts to the car at 6 points
  13. Windsor exhaust, did the exhaust on my 34, twin 3" to two 3" cats with 5" body through to 4" center muffler then out in 4" to 4" rear muffler Top quality work at a great price and I didn't have to 3 - 4 weeks to get it done
  14. One of the joys of paying big money of a ECU is the Syvecs has a built in 1khz oscilloscope, which was instrumental in finding a sensor issue I had with the Ross setup
  15. Your welcome, it may end up on the 32 yet, with a 36-2 CAS disc and the PFC if I don't bit the bullit and get an EmTron Paul had it on his car with the link using the nissan signal before getting the M3 put in, he might be able to shed some light on this
  16. Scott, the box is actually made by Morristech and sold through Ross as part of there kit, at an extra price of corse I didn't end up using it, I bought a Syvecs S8 ECU and it reads the trigger sensor directly and the standard Cas for phasing
  17. I have a Ross trigger wheel setup with a convertor box that changes the signal to a factory Nissan signal to run with the Power FC, so surely the Nistune could read that
  18. Are yes but isn't it a rebadged Exedy anyway ?
  19. Any chance you could just get the plates from a exedy chev clutch and drop em in, providing their the same diameter the rest should be the same given the twin plates aren't factory replacement but a full replacement Talk the Scott, he'll know What about PPG themselves, its their box and shaft, surely they wouldn't sell it with this setup if you couldn't get a clutch for it
  20. Scott, talk to scott, he is Johns son and more into the import/performance side of things Not saying John doesn't know his shit cause he does I've just always dealt with scott when it comes to the cars and John with the truck and 4wd stuff
  21. Happen to have a pic of R34 GTR wing blade and eye lids ?
  22. Does OS do a gearset for the getrag ? I've looked at the PPG gearset for my getrag, $9,990 plus fitting and you have to have or get a getrag to fit it to, when for $16,000 you can get OS88, so by the time you buy a getrag and the gearset and have it fitted you would be better for paying the bit extra and get the OS88, or if you have one sell it
  23. That's why I said, if the timing marks line up perfect then the cam timing is perfect, which mine is, if not then you would have to adjust for it, though it certainly wouldn't be 35deg out if the markings are close, at worst they can only be up to half a tooth out one way or the other
  24. Yes - no Yes
