um no, 10L/100km from 70ltrs is 700km so how is 12L/100km from 70ltrs 840km since your trying to find units per hundred it's 70/12x100 which gives 583 from 70ltrs to proof it, you are working per 100km so you need to change the distance to number of hundreds, so 583/100=5.83 that's 5.83 hundreds now how many hundreds per tank or 70ltrs for this equation 70/5.83=12.006, that's 70ltrs divided by 5.83 hundreds gives 12.006 liters per hundred my R32 GTR has 261rwkw for daily duties, I filled up at the Shell servo around the corner from my house a St Marys then drove to Orange and back then around my area for a few days and got 673km from the tank and put 62 liters in which filled it back up 673/100= 6.73 62/6.73=9.21L/100km

sorry, I for some reason thought you meant external pump, if you can use the one that comes with the pump then that would be the better one to use
-
Pre or post pump? pre - run a Speed flow or similar 40 micron stainless strainer, it will never break down just wash it out as part of regular servicing and 10 micron for post pump

Tim's Rb26 S14 Project, Road To 600Hp.
XKLABA replied to Tim_zenki's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
I'd do the RB26 over a SR20det but the vet version makes a massive difference, if your doing it to have the RB26 then all's good and nice conversion and making good power is very easy from them the weight difference is actually quite alot, more then a tank full will over come because the weight is in front of the front wheels, which will make turn in harder but will make drifting easier I for one am interested in these kind of builds so keep us posted -
Tim's Rb26 S14 Project, Road To 600Hp.
XKLABA replied to Tim_zenki's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
please don't get me wrong here, I love the RB in particularly the 26, but I would have put a SR20VE with a, given your in the states, FP GT3076HTA and given that car comes with an SR from factory, every where but where you are , it would be an easier conversion unless your doing 4WD as well then never mind the only reason I say this is cause you want to race the car around corners and the RB will put over 100kgs right at the front of the car compared to the SR my R32 GTR runs out of rego in June and I'm looking at track only setup for it and there is a good chance the RB26dett will be coming out in way of an SR20vet with a PT turbo for that reason -
Harmonic Balancer Removal, Stuck! Nee Help Asap
XKLABA replied to the-31's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I'd say it has moved and wedged against the key way, remove motor and apply heat would be the best way, or carefully cut it off chances are the crank is damaged now anyway I remember someone telling me they have a 30 crank with the balancer still on it cause it wouldn't came off -
E100, Cause Of Failed Injectors?
XKLABA replied to nicksamaniac's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
from the United servo ? that's United 100 which is basically E10 except it is on a 98ron base fuel instead of 91 that normal E10 uses E100 means 100% ethanol with NO unleaded E10 is 10% ethanol with 90 % unleaded E85 is 85% ethanol with 15% unleaded etc etc etc -
I have never looked at or treated someone different cause of what car they own that statement is the reality of it, you can't comparing the two cars, they a worlds apart even thought they are both skylines, doesn't make the owners of one or the other automaticly better then the other or elitists, its you guys saying that, maybe that's what you think we are but not what I think
-
Yeah sorry, I did miss that bit, I retract my previous post, except the bit where you all think we are the same cause the car we drive, other then that carry on
-
yeah do that, that is how mine is but I have to run the MFD as well and my lights haven't come on yet, but early days for me and my setup
-
I must have missed the bit where security is stopping spectators, this is clearly a bunch of little minded people with nothing better to do then bitch about something that has nothing to do with them and isn't going to effect their normal days coming and goings, so they blow it up into some massive conspiracy against them, and really are you comparing a R33 GTS-T to a R34 GTR, yeah cause they are clear as common and such a close spec model of car with the same pedigree as each other I figured the security where going to be there to direct other cars to a different part of the car park so the OP and Lowdown can get all the 34s together for the pics with out other different cars in amongst them and if that is what they want then its there party, would make for a good pic, if my 34 is tuned in time I will be there and I personally would welcome anyone to come along for a chat and certainly wouldn't exclude anyone cause of the car they drive I just can't believe some of the BS coming from people on here really if you don't like it don't go, it would a better event without people like you and your mindset of cause one R34 owner wants to gather a heap of the same car for a photo shoot then HE and ALL R34 owners must think they a superior to everyone else or elitists, that is the joke around here and you people should be ashamed cause YOU think the op thinks he is better then everyone else YOU then paint every owner with the same brush
-
Nothing, but I went Z32s with the power FC on my 32 just cause there bigger ID
-
Does the R34 GT-T come in a 4WD version ? If not I'm doubt full it has one in which case you in the same boat as me having to "share" the TPS signal What car is this in ? And why does it have a GT-T ECU ?
-
I had to read you post about your breather system again after looking at the photo, I thought it read you where trying to vacuum out of the cam covers, oh god no, then after looking at the photo and rereading it I see what you've done, should work very well, a great idea, in the baffling in the camber on the block have you got any gauss/foam/steel wool to "catch" fine air born oil particals 500rwkws is easily achieved with a 2.6 with this turbo and head setup, I would think the idea of this engine is to do it as low in the rev range with as wide as possible power band and least amount of stress on internals as possible I am keeping a very close eye on this, like the last one, cause as I have nearly completed a RB30 based build and I am not entirely happy with fitment I love the colour on your car, it is what I wanted but my BB one came up at a price I couldn't let go
-
Ayvon, if your car is the R33 GTR, it's pin 56 http://www.skyline-owners-club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22456 Link/ViPec and some other computers "share" the TPS signal from the TPS sensor instead of relying it which inturn lowers the voltage at the various control units, the 34 feels it the most because of the MFD, this is an issue I'm having at the moment and the cure, for me atleast, is a buffer to up the voltages back to correct levels

1994 R32 Gtr - Stock To ~320Kw.
XKLABA replied to Ambi3nce's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Look at the Alpha Omega EVO brembo brake upgrade with 350mm discs, the bolts for the 34 brembos are 14mm against 12mm for the 32 ones so they don't just bolt on -
I have a video of it but it won't let me upload it, I'll see if I can get it on from the computer later But is VERY loud, I have a 4" exhaust and you can't hear the exhaust over the pump which is right next to it

Vq30Det S15 200Sx Spec-R
XKLABA replied to psi_999's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
any updates on this ? what was the sensor you used for the trigger setup ? -
check all the fuses, I had go in my R32 GTR that stopped the windows and instrument cluster and the fuse was marked something else all together
-
I went to MSCN to buy the pumps and a bracket told them what I was doing with them and they told me not to do that with the 044s putting them selves out of a sale, so given that I'd tend to believe what they said I then mentioned it to my tuner and he backed them saying the same, 044s should be gravity feed, both company's sell 044s neither sell Weldon and both told me for my setup go Weldon or Aeromotive 044s like to pump fuel not pull fuel, thats just what I was told
-
That was going to be my setup till I was told 044 prefer to be gravity feed and my setup wouldn't allow for that so I went the 2025 I have the Walbro E85 intank as a lift pump which flows 500L/H 0-30psi feeding the surge tank and the Weldon which flow 590L/H@ 80psi and 620@ 50 psi, the 044 @ 80 psi flow 260L/H Slowing the fuel down isn't really that big of an issue as I drove the car for the first time last night with the new setup and after 45min drive the surge tank was just warm but the noise, I have to do something about that which is the main reason for slowing the pump down I have fuel pressure and temp sensors also, I'll have to go into the logs an see what the temp got to

How Good Are Rb26 Valve Spring Retainer
XKLABA replied to 4dr wannaslide's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
That was the springs, toooo soft -
that's right and I can do this with the Weldon controller, but my computer is set to run full variable so I can set it to run at any set level at any given RPM/load so I can set it up to run the pump at say 10% more flow then needed through the whole rev range so when sitting at traffic lights or in a car park the pump is barely turning meaning I'm not just pumping fuel through the motor back to the surge tank heating the surge tank up
-
the pump is awesome piece of gear, just very very............very loud, and given it is a street driven car I want to make it as quiet as possible so when sitting at traffic lights I'm not getting to much attention, in a blue R34 GTR we had it on the dyno the other day and the fuel circulated so fast it just heated up the surge tank, but then that could have also been because the intank E85 pump wasn't working the controller is just a little less flexible then I wound have though and when I looked in to the controller it said it was a PWM unit but no where I found said it wouldn't take PWM input and did I mention the pump is VERY loud, louder then the 4" exhaust
-
The Hobbs is on/off, where a map sensor signal increases with boost which will increase pump speed as it climbs, basically an automatic potentiometer, the input of the controller is a variable, the more voltage inputted the faster the pump spins Though you could use the Hobbs to trigger "race" mode
