  1. Unless the origional ground isnt good to begin with, hence why u are redoing the wiring....
  2. so could i swap these parts over from a s13 lsd to my 2 way centre, lowering the ratio?
  3. from memory the v8 went 212, then 213 in the 2 runs it had?
  4. Ive got a Nismo GT Pro 2 way centre in my r32 GTst diff. Im thinking about swapping to a s13 ratio to get some more use out of the gearing, BUT i wanna keep my 2 way diff..... What part of the diff determines the actual ratios? Someone said it is the ring gear(?) inside the housing? Ive found sfa info on it (hard to find) - is it a simple job of : a : swapping the centre and half shafts from my diff housing to a s13 housing with the s13 ring gear? or b : sell my 2 way and buy a s13 lsd centre and have it shimmed up (dont wanna go this route) So is it the centre, the housing, or the ring gear? inside the housing that determines the ratio in the car? thanks
  5. they were about $350 + i think for just a set of fronts from Race Brakes....i couldn't justify it for a mainly street driven car....they are dusty too ive heard
  6. thanks for the list Cubes. I'll be off to Jaycar now to do some shopping.....wanna draw up a circuit diagram too while your at it?
  7. when my head was being given the full overhaul, i asked the guy about putting some better springs in. His comments were to match the cams and springs together, and that Iskenderian(sp?) were a real good spring to use
  8. was a real good turnout....
  9. I know someone with datalogit, and i think i remember them saying that they tried a lot of generic adaptors, and only had luck with the adaptor that the datalogit people supplied....
  10. Mafia, Id prefer to buy the USB cable connection as well. I dont want a serial connection as its "old school"
  11. got the auxilliary gauge cluster? Its the 3 gauge holder in the centre console...I dont need the gauges, just the holder. how much? thanks
  12. How does that contradict the title? SK clearly defines what is best for a road car, and what is best on the track. SK is helping people by suggesting something that is relevant to them, rather than saying spericals are better due to more adjustment available. Not starting anymore flaming here, but everytime i see you have given suspension adjsutment advice merlin, its all for the spericals. It doesnt help me or joe blow with a street car who doesnt need the car off the road every so often to replace bearings.....
  13. After the centre console gauge holder from a R32 GTR. The one with the 3 gauges. Doesnt have to have the gauges still, just need the holder. Prefer one in good nick. Let me know if you have one. Also, could someone tell me the size of the gauges they hold? Thanks.
  14. The Rb26 was built as a high performance motor to start with, so saying rb30's are like a family hack engine, could be the same for rb25's or rb20's. Im not into the theory of it all, but dont most engine builders strive for what they call a "square" motor? Which the rb30 is ideal..ie 86x86 I think Japan would use them, but like Duncan said they dont have them lying around for $100 a pop....
  15. News to me. I run Rb74's on the fronts for everyday street pads, and i can quite easily lock em up if i need to stop in a hurry...from cold to hot
  16. yup Will see everyone Sat
  17. RB74's are from Racebrakes.com.au Its their own brand of pad.
  18. lol...dunno what its worth, as i bought it with the car when it was freshly highflowed. Its made about 220rwkw with this motor (i reckon it has slightly more due to the air pod shitter im running which will be changed soon) Ive got pics of the exhaust and compressor side...Shaun and Cubes have seen it too....depends on when i'll be buying the xr6 GT35r for mine as to when ill be taking it off....I'll catch up with you this Sat. at Boostworx and discuss more on it
  19. What power do you want Chris? Id say it would be about it too...isnt the 2510 thew smallest in the HKS line? Go for a 2535..isnt it a GT RS now or something....lol wanna buy my highflow ?
  20. I use the same plugs as cubes (cos he recommended them as well as the tuner)...$16 and i'll change em every 20k ish...
  21. Ive heard that DOT5 (the synthetic stuff?) can stuff up the seals if used in your clutch master. Ive seen it happen on a number of r32's now, and even the brake and clutch guys here in Adelaide recommend sticking to the DOT3/4 stuff. This is on a road going car, so frequent fluid changes dont happen. I suppose if you are on the track, and do fluid changes every race it doesnt matter
  22. I may have one, but i prefer Wild the sphincter of the universe
