  1. Excuse for some CF yoooo! haha.
  2. sweet cheers! Will have to get onto that very soon then.. plus dump pipe plus tune. It never ends
  3. I just bought a water pump, idler, tensioner, cam belt and all the other belts for $290. Im in the same boat as you. Unsure about the 61K km on mine so am going to just do it for piece of mind. Oil pump i never thought of tho. Curious, is it a job that can be done without a hoist?
  4. X2. Interestingly enough, when i ordered my HKS from Nengun a year or two back, i was tossing up between the Trust PE2 or the HKS Hi-Power Silent. The photo they have listed for the HKS shows the exhaust with a center muffler. At the time they were similarly priced, and IMO looked identical so chose HKS for no apparent reason. But as we both know, it comes with a straight pipe with im gonna go for an "illusion" of a resonator slightly bulging in the mid pipe, and the cannon on the rear. It was louder than i expected it to be but i was expecting a center muffler too. It can be a tad droney on the highways at times, but if you keep it at a steady rpm it more or less goes silent. When i listen to Lith's one side by side with mine and go for a drive i might keep my eye out for a Trust item to replace it with. But i do like that bark.... Theres nothing quite like winding down the windows in a narrow tunnel and listening to that RB roar at full boost!
  5. They did it to the Silvias, front facing plenum i mean, and had the I/C piping looking like an aftermarket GTSt! In they end the engineer the car do produce certain power. And an SMIC is sufficient for the power they make in standard mod/boost form.
  6. why did you start another thread asking the same question?
  7. Yup, but in that setup you can block the PCV off too. I have mine set up like yours but with the PCV blocked off. You cant see it because i painted the PCV bung black. Removed the valve and replaced it with an alloy bung. And of course a bung in the PCV-Intake Mani hose.
  8. Well your saying that what they did flows better, so is more efficient to meet emissions laws, and also makes more power. 20wk from the tiny amount of difference your saying there is i feel is a pretty hefty increase isnt it? All i was saying is that if they went too far then the car would make more power and on paper have more then the GTR lol.
  9. But then again, on "paper" they wouldnt want the GT-T making more power than the R34 GTR would they?
  10. No. Just wind them in by hand, put both nuts on it and lock them together tight. Then use the locked nuts to tighten like any bolt.
  11. Using 6 bolts is sweet man. the studs just make it easier to put on as theres something for the dump pipe to hang off while you get the nuts/bolts on
  12. It wont affect your suspension. Try unplugging the HICAS and installing a lock bar. Its not expensive, and IMHO works a treat. Is the car lowered? Inside wear is usually due to camber.
  13. Isnt there a bit more compression in the NEO too? Its pretty clear, if you start with more power stock, and add parts you will surely end up with more power.
  14. ^^ Get over it. Everyone knows what it means. I tend to switch between Cam, Tappet, and Rocker covers. Depends on the tongue at the time.
  15. I tried that when i did mine, thos suckers are in tight! (well you'd hope so ) I gave up and masked them. lol
  16. Your taking the piss right?
  17. I think where he is he mentioned it being illegal? I would have thought so long as the vapours being caught it would be ok? Mines like this: Works a treat. The PCV has a alloy bung that came with the can, and although the line from the PVC to the manifold LOOKS like its still there, it has a mini bung just under the wires there to keep it looking tidy and factory Same with the Exh. breather --> intake, double ended alloy bung. Want to try get an intake breather to put in the exh. side to tidy it up.
  18. Have you checked their thread? Theres photos of them on there. And im sure i have seen two threads of peoples installations. Search is your friend.
  19. That defeats the purpose as its sucking in all the hot air from the engine bay. You might as well use a pod.
  20. you can also jam it under the shield for the cat I did for mine and its never fallen out yet! Even trackdays ets.
  21. So what? You looked. Hes happy with it why not let him share.
  22. Interesting you say that, as everything i have bought from Nengun has been miles cheaper than RHD. For example i was looking at the HKS dump pipe, its a good $60 cheaper than RHD.. Other than that, mates have used it and never had a problem.
  23. I was meaning like in the 100,000 mark Yeah i probly am, its just something i heard in a discussion a few years back when the Monaro was released. But there MUST be some sort of criteria on what can enter? Whats to stop some of the very high end V8 powered cars entering? Corvette's and the likes. Oh and above, when i say "Skyline" i meant R35 GTR, but im sure everyone knew that. Edited: Just had a quick flick through a few pages and couldnt find anything other than its Falcon Vs a "Custom" Commodore. No other reason than Aussie rivalry. lol.
  24. So how would a Skyline enter exactly? being a V SIX? I felt like a nub when i read your post but then realised the reason i mentioned it was because the thread was talking about entering the R35 So i feel betterrer now.
  25. Its just a front pipe. Bolts to the OEM dump pipe. I have the Mild steel version on my R33. Stainless one is expensive! But i do want the HKS dump pipe too. Would prefer that in mild steel also... but sheet it is dear!
