I had mine blocked up, it was done with an Alloy bung lathed to fit. It basically popped into the seal thats already there.
What it looked like before repainting the rocker covers, and putting back stock PCV. Same kinda bung in the hose that connected it too.
My advice, is leave it stock. Its onnly open at idle anyway so your not really getting any benefit from it.
I had problems with crank case pressure after a few months, and oil was blowing past the rings and i was getting alot of smoke.
Re-instating the PCV stopped the problem.
