  1. What other input do you need? It wont effect anything, it will just work and be good. No need to wire up boost controllers etc and set them up. It is pretty much the limit boost wise you'd want to run anyway, without having to upgrade the ECU/AFM.
  2. I had mine blocked up, it was done with an Alloy bung lathed to fit. It basically popped into the seal thats already there. What it looked like before repainting the rocker covers, and putting back stock PCV. Same kinda bung in the hose that connected it too. My advice, is leave it stock. Its onnly open at idle anyway so your not really getting any benefit from it. I had problems with crank case pressure after a few months, and oil was blowing past the rings and i was getting alot of smoke. Re-instating the PCV stopped the problem.
  3. Oops There was me thinking again that higher numbers means richer.. My bad Good thing im not a tuner! Bahaha
  4. As far as im aware, every car runs rich on idle.
  5. And judging by your sig.. a dam fine one at that Love that front end on mine too! Arent the S15's a dit dodgy on the traction side of things? Even factory spec?
  6. Speedtech in NZ used some rods to make doorhandles for their Dyno room, they looked pretty sweet. Could do something similar for a shed or the likes
  7. Yes it is. All you need to do is block off the Vac line that went from the solenoid to the intake, and run one line straight from the Intercooler piping to the actuator.
  8. wholy triple post batman!
  9. Great investment. Just unplug, and remove the standard solenod, run a single vac line from the intercooler pipe to the actuator, and plug the other line up.
  10. This is mine. The MINIMUM amount that needs to be cut to fit a Blitz LM to a S2 R33. Reason i emphasize Minimum, is this: It took hours to get it to fit that tight. Makes it less obvious. Painted black, 99% of people wouldnt even notice/know. R31 knows what hes talking about and gives great advice. No need to speak like that. He is right, i have posted these pics at least 4 times now. "return flow" just means that the air returns back to the stock SMIC piping more or less.
  11. Perfect. Exactly what i did, but as mentioned with the 10psi R32 Actuator I struggled to find a little nipple to block the BOV vac line, i didnt like the idea of a bolt. Managed to score one from a wrecker. I think it was from a old Camry intake manifold Works a treat and is so tidy. EDIT: Amazing Paint jigs btw
  12. You also need to look at power/psi. So as mentioned.. efficiency. Back to back dynos against a mates 33GTSt and mine, his made 5 morw rwkw with 5psi more boost. Exact same mods, bar his being Link tuned, and mine Stock ECU. 1kw per PSi doesnt feel like efficient power to me. Sounds like a whole lot of hot air
  13. I was in the same boat, but id rather them hold off selling an inferior product that doesnt last. Thats my guess on why it took a long time. The last thing a new product needs is a failure.
  14. It looks ok to me, but maybe the earth isnt sufficient? Hard to tell from that pic. Try score an R32 Acutator, then you can remove it all together. I havnt looked back!
  15. Tried using a boost gauge? I have a feeling they come with a minimum 14psi actuator though.
  16. I havnt LOL'd like that in ages! Thanks alot Bahahaha
  17. Yeah, dont know why i said that seeing as you were locking it
  18. Im surprised that he wasnt attacked for bumping an old thread.. seems to be the SAU way But while were here, SK metioned the R32 GTR pump is a direct swap for R32 GTSt, is this the same for R33 GTR --> R33 GTS25t?
  19. If it didnt affect the steering then dont worry. Im guessing the HICAS boss kit is only if you want to keep HICAS working
  20. You need a HICAS Bosskit for your steering wheel, Leave the computer alone and it will be fine. The only thing you remove is the bar itself and the bulb. Leave EVERYTHING else or you will have problems.
  21. Id also have to disagree. They open at 78-81 for a reason. All your going to do by putting in a cooler thermostat is not let the engine ever warm up properly. And thats not a good thing. So what "gains" are you "reaping" exactly?
  22. Hitting the rev limiter really shouldnt do any damage. Thats why its there is it not?
  23. $43K? Im guessing thats including the price of the car, if not. You got ripped
  24. I read it as he wants to know the size of the BOV return to plug up the intake pipe because hes got an aftermarket BOV? yes?
