  1. if that sale falls through i'll take it. im in brisbane so can pick up cheers
  2. cool, fitment is pretty i run 18x8 +24 235/40 18x9 +23 265/35 been scared to lower the rear down too much because of the bigger tyres. think i need to put on some 235 or 245s on the back to get it sitting nicely
  3. looks nice man... wish i could get my car looking that clean. how do you go with tyre scrubbing on the rear at that height? what size tyre and wheel are you running there? offsets?
  4. Thanks for that mate yeah the seller doesnt list much detail about the box. but with the info you've provided there ive asked him a few more questions. current box already has a shift kit in it. was just looking into this as a future proofing type adventure.
  5. i thought this would be a good place to throw this out there. Looking into buying a built up r34 box to use in my r34 gtt the seller lists that it has: "60MM FRONT BAND 4 & 5 PINION PLANETARY GEAR SETS STAGE 2 SHIFT KIT" and states that it was built to handle 400kw what does this mean essentially? does it sound correct? im not too savvy on the internals of automatic boxes. I am in now way chasing 400kw maybe up to 300rwkw once done (im not sure if he meant rwkw or just engine kw either?) on a side note... has anyone discovered a way to speed up tiptronic changes in the 34? ive noticed going up gears quickly can fail hard. ie: 1 -> 2 -> 3 but the 3 change takes aaaaggesss going down gears doesnt seem to be a problem though.
  6. yeah saw that. thats what im trying to avoid though. as i already have 3" front pipe. id like to keep dump and front pipes separate if i can. as i will most likely upgrade my standard turbo later on. i wont have to change everything again. so im just looking for dump pipe section only.
  7. Hello, at the moment im running a split dump pipe to a seperate front pipe then high flow cat then ces catback. Have been looking around at options to replace just the split dump to a bellmouth 3". reason being is car is being tuned shortly and the split dump is only 2.5" so could cause a slight restriction. I'm finding it hard to come across bellmouth style dump pipes that dont have a front pipe attached. http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?p...at=0&page=5 ^ i found this but its heaps pricey. can anyone point me to someone who sells something similar? is it really worth it going from 2.5" split to 3" bellmouth? Cheers
  8. how old are they? are they the aus spec or jap spec? pictures?
  9. are these highflowed standard injectors? or complete replacement? what power were you making with them? at what duty cycle? Cheers
  10. Playing around with my new 300d
  11. i think the walbro conversation is on topic. because if it fails above 200rwkw like everyone says it will you'll need to consider a replacement to get to 260rwkw. I also wouldnt want to replace a perfectly good part that will work on the advice of a couple of forum members also. I'd want some solid evidence. just a consideration for you mate. sorry if it got too off topic for you. most ppl on the standard r33 housings seem to get about 230-250rwkw. with a few exceptions. for a safer bet at getting 250/260rwkw i would consider finding a larger rear housing (if yours isnt one of the larger already) ie r34, vg30 or perhaps talk to hypergear who are now manufacturing larger housings for their turbos i think.
  12. Id also like to know more about the walbro. I'm running one now at under 200rwkw and looking to go over that soonish. Ive seen plenty of people running over 200rwkw with it, so i dunno where all of this is coming from. Like simpletool said - as long as its getting the right voltage it should be fine i imagine? im no expert either though.
  13. hello! I have a set of Ohlins Adjustable(height/damper/rebound) coilovers for r33 gtst for sale they have eibach springs on them part numbers: front: 23,99 - 6340101 Rear: 24,99 - 6340102 If any of you wish to figure out spring rates etc as im not sure Rears are perfect, one of the fronts is fine and the other ones adjustment is broken (its constantly on the hardest setting, cant change it) - i also have the adjustment knobs which arent on in the photos. they were on my r33 which has since been sold and were a great coilover (as many of you know ohlins are not cheap rubbish) Im chasing $500 for the set but throw me an offer you might be suprised. moving house and want these gone! would prefer local pickup but postage is an option for serious buyers. Contact: Steve - 0422850698 or [email protected] or reply by PM/In this thread Cheers some pictures: Still a bit dusty from the dust storms a while back. just been sitting in the shed.
  14. oh thats cool Dan. didnt know that. Never drive with the TCS on anyway. i need to get one of those circuits from you
  15. cool thanks stao, So the first option would require me sending you me entire turbo? 2nd option is that made completely of your housings? or do i need to send you a turbo of some sort? ideally i'd like to not have to take my turbo off as i need the car to get to work. and then i can sell it later to offset the costs. Can easily get my hands on a stuffed 33 turbo if that makes things easier? you have so many different options im getting confused which one uses which housings etc haha if there is not an option i'll just have to do it i guess. just sussing out my options.
  16. nice results there. I have an r34 gtt and have been watching this thread closely. im wanting to hit about 260-270rwkws through the auto. car is a daily so cant afford to have the turbo off and send it to you etc if i can avoid it. would using one of your .63 housings in affect be the same as using my op6 rear housing turbo? are the quality/results the same? (Boost response/stable boost issues/flow/total power etc) do you need me to send you compressor side also? or do you machine this yourself? (could probably pick up a cheap r33 shagged turbo to rebuild with your .63 housing?) Whats the best option here? what are the costs? was going to PM but thought the answers might be useful to others also
  17. been playing borderlands for the last day or so, up to level 18 hunter now. pretty decent game anyone else playing this yet?
  18. Mine arrived today Thanks Josh and Matt
  19. also put me down for one for r34 gtt if they fit decently
  20. Haven't received my board yet Josh. Was just about to PM you about it. Any word from Matt as to whether they've been sent off or not?
  21. hey mate, Im chasing the 2 pieces of interior trim that run down beside the stereo and AC controls ^^ the ones in that pic (both sides) if they are in good condition with no scratches etc Pm me prices etc please Cheers Steve
  22. lol, yeah mate its normal. the TCS is pretty touchy once youve upped the power levels a bit. will engage without much effort. i pretty much drive with it off all the time. usually leave it on in the wet.
