  1. This thread is great! Must be all that "double clutching" which is changing your gear ratios on the fly dude!
  2. There was a thread on here a while back detailing 15year + DIY compliance and gave details on where to purchase prefab side intrusion bars. Welding skills required. Do a search for it, it was a good thread.
  3. well think about the number of people who are buying petrol every day versus the number of people who are reading this email and then following its advice.
  4. What is your question? Will R33 GTR lights fit a S1 R33 GTSt - yes possibly - ive heard someone here has done it. Will R33 GTSt Series 2 lights fit a series 1 - not without changing the bonnet - (front bar and guards can stay) Will R33 4 door S1 lights fit a series 1 coupe - Yes but the inside is silver/chrome and not black
  5. The stock flange size works for 3" as well as the standard 2.5" piping.
  6. Sorry champ there is no chance this would work.
  7. Its been done and there is a howto on these forums somewhere. It's not a bolt-on but the changes aren't too huge. Would be expensive to get done though if you couldn't do it yourself. The effort seems to outweight the benefits i think. Could be wrong.
  8. Might be a good idea to change the diff oil.
  9. Defi make a single din 3 guage unit. A bit pricey like all Defi stuff but its very nice looking. There's plans around on this forum on how to make your own din sized centre console for guages. Don't know how good the results are. I also made my own out of a piece of scrap aluminium painted matt black. Not too hard. Just mounted a VDO boost guage in there for now.
  10. Well actually it was on this forum already... but yeah its neat.
  11. Ebay link for more info. T4 is not a bolt on though unless im mistaken.
  12. Dont forget the APEXI A450 Autech 4door 400R Autech 4door R33 GTR. Also, not GTR but: Garage Impul 4 door R33 Autech Driving school version R32
  13. That Nismo one pictured is particularly good value at 100 bucks as it has a brake master cylinder brace attached designed specifically for the ECR33. Same one i have.
  14. Seen this before. The guy pretty much walked away with some minor injuries. Pure luck.
  15. Post the part number if you can find it dude, would help you sell it. A pic may help too.
  16. Under the bonnet, in the right rear corner (looking from the front) is the ABS stuff. It looks obvious if you have ever looked under a non-abs bonnet before.
  17. Next urban myth i want disspelling is if R34 GTR rims will fit under the R33 GTSt guards. If I cant fit the 350z 18" rims on perfectly, and R34 GTR rims fit on a 350z perfectly........ 2+2 = ?
  18. For 1500 you will get a PowerFC and hand controller. What you wont get is a good tune. If you buy the PowerFC, start saving again for the tune which is $450+.
  19. There is a few things to consider first PCD, offset, width. Having 5 holes is only 1 piece of the puzzle. You should find some and try them on before you get any further into buying some. They might stick out of the guards or need big spacers. They might be too narrow for decent tyres at the back. In general though I think they look pretty good. What do they look like without centre caps though? could ruin the whole idea.
  20. What does the ECU have to do with the knock sensors? The hardware is already there, the ECU just plugs into it. In fact the Apexi is crap at this as it will tell you the engine is pinging its tits off but wont/cant do anything about it (automatically retard timing etc) like the stock ECU will. I think that would've been a good option on the PowerFC but anyway... back to the topic...
  21. The world is saved from 3000 Hyundais!!
  22. used to be on Saturdays at 8:30 SBS but i dont think its on anymore. A friend of mine somehow acquired every episode in Divx so i can still get my fix of amusing Jap-American voice acting.
  23. This would be a nightmare. I dont think the ECU would be the issue as the ABS would no doubt have its own computer. The nightmare would be getting the parts together and then fitting them... Probably easier to sell your car and buy one with ABS already.
  24. The people who say that are just uneducated. The series 1 interior (if in good condition) is better than the Series 2 interior. Nissan skimped on the S2 seats to save money after adding airbags and stuff. Most Series 2's though are in better condition since they're newer so this is probably where the rumour comes from.
  25. I use BP Ultimate for two reasons. 1. The fuel works and gives decent performance with no pinging i can hear. 2. The servo (the one I use at least) "guarantees" the fuel, which i assume means some kind of money back if the batch is crap. Keep the receipt and dial the BP complaints line.
