  6. took it for a thrash one day without realising the BOV plumback hose had come off, sucked in unmetered air and was running at around 13:1 under full load. loaded it up in 3rd for the first time and it pinged pretty hard 4 or 5 times (not audible but was logging at the time). later that day after another 100km or so it started hesitating real bad under any load higher than cruising, started it the next day and made it 500m down the street before it became undriveable (foot to the just to make it idle). started it again a few days later and it started making a bad knocking noise. still has compression so not sure why its running like shit but yer doesnt sound good.
  7. dont want it for me, was just curious. something you can do sitting at home, could use a fair bit more timing under light load between 1500 and 5000rpm. standard maps go up to ~50 degrees around 4000rpm, makes a huge difference to the way it drives off boost
  8. different air sensor, air con is completely seperate to engine sensors. havent had experience with 32s but unless theres some massive difference imo you should use the 25 engine loom and all 25 sensors (except temp gauge sender), ecu etc and wire it up to the 32 body loom.
  9. my bad then, was looking at a l jetro version which doesnt have inj vs tps or inj vs air temp. just out of curiousity got a copy of your ignition map?
  10. never got myne on the dyno but can guess around 280-320rwkw, 7200 limiter. then again i'm having engine troubles after less than a 1000km so not a good example
  11. probs not worth it if its all complete. just make sure it has a good tune and revs are kept at normal levels and you shouldnt have any problems
  12. theres 2 relevant settings under the 2nd tab. one is labelled Accelerate Injector (mS) and the other is INJ vs Accel TPS1. your talking about the latter one yer? or is there another one i'm not seeing on my version?

  14. inj vs accel tps under setting 2 is throttle pump enrichment, that is enrichment from increases in tps voltages. so bascially, your cruising at 20% throttle, you move your foot to 50% throttle, the ecu adds fuel instantly according to these settings, as the map/afm takes a split second to respond.

  16. sounds like you've been driving the NA too much at the end of the day with NAs you can spend 20k on the motor and make all of 10-15hp, its just not worth it for anyone with any sanity. that link i posted on the first page (for those that can view it) is a perfect example, hes spent over 20k on a 30DE and makes about 25kw more than a 30E with an exhaust best thing P platers can do is save up all their money and wait until they're off P's
  17. yer may be slow to react but 90% of actuators open 3-4psi below target pressure anyway, so by creating this delay your reducing gate creep coming onto full boost. i've always run my boost source of the plenum (my cooler piping doesnt have any nipples) for years on a few different cars and have never had any problems with boost control, its always been very good. also it helps stop boost drop on gearchanges, not that you'd ever notice it with a stock turbo
  18. general rule, 70-80hp. you'll never get exact figures for every skyline but who cares, arguing over 5-10hp is like sticking a dildo up your own ass, gay.
  19. yes, it'll keep using the same values. but you shouldnt ever really have your limiter set higher than your last ne point

  22. if your looking for that sort of power and to make the most of the new compressors i'd go a 1.06 housing on the gt30, twin scroll if your manifold allows it. it wont get you 550rwhp (on our dynos anyway, not sure how different yours are) but it should make a solid 450rwhp with a very nice midrange
