  1. my old 3076 setup only made 115rwkw at 4000rpm so i dont see how 130 is that bad, espcially with a bigger turbo? good results simon
  2. i've been in a factory CA20S hr31, now theres a slow car. the hr31 passage also had RD28 diesel option
  3. this one might be the gt32 one disco is reffering to, made by garrett. http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=ATP-HSG-009&Category_Code=GTH these ones however are definately not made by garrett. they have atp cast into the housing so i assume its made by them. http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=ATP-HSG-063&Category_Code=GTH these ones here i'm not sure about, it says its a garrett casting? http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=ATP-HSG-078&Category_Code=GTH http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=ATP-HSG-080&Category_Code=GTH
  4. except over here theres only one shop that can do im240 and they like to charge a small house deposit for a test
  5. costs too much and is too hard for 99.9% of applications. standard rb25 turbo should make 10psi by 2500-2700 if everythings working properly.
  6. the timing gear on my 30 block was on so tight i had to cut it off. was levering against the oil pump pretty hard tho (didnt care if i broke it) and it was fine, didnt do any damage to the pump or sump or anything.
  7. LOL. some of the things on the list definately make for big power upgrades, like: - Custom cast alloy rocker cover garnish - Cast alloy thermostat housing - Numerous cable ties - Odyssey battery - Several bolts
  8. the limit can be anywhere from 260-340rwkw, depending on lots of factors. but if your planning a 350rwkw build definately include a decent manifold and preferably external gate
  9. for the money, try it and see. they start getting a bit shitty with big turbos running high boost but stockers and highflows they work very well
  10. yes thats a genuine garrett IW housing. places like gcg and mtq can get them aswell, see what price they can do and shop around a bit. i've got one sitting here aswell you could buy if your keen
  11. no. double the pressure only yields ~40% more flow skylines run a 3 bar fuel system standard, this means fuel pressure is always 3 bar (42-43psi) above inlet manifold pressure. this means theres a constant pressure difference between both sides of the injector (fuel on the rail side and air on the inlet side) resulting in constant injector flow.
  12. http://motamota.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?topic=104694.0 start reading about how much of a waste of money it is
  13. are you using a 26 or 30 balancer? if its 26 just use the 26 torque settings, if its 30 use the 25 settings (from memory the 25 and 30 bolts are the same). i used all 25 specs (and 26 flywheel settings as i couldnt find 25) on my 25/30 and everything is working as it should.
  14. yer but on the other hand i maxxed out the whole IW gt30 on standard manifold setup at 250rwkw @ 17psi. was a rather conservative tune and probably made around 270rwkw later but wouldnt have been much more than that. changed to external gate and 1.06 TW housing and the difference was huge, didnt get it dyno'd unfortunately so dunno how much better it was.
  15. dont expect too much more from the factory manifold. every cars different but they start becoming a serious restriction at around 260-300rwkw
  16. 26 balancer bolt is 446 - 544NM 26 flywheel bolts are 142-152NM 25 balancer bolt is 142-152NM 33 manual doesnt have 25 flywheel bolts, i assume its the same as 26 tho. and 25 settings should be fine for the 30, especially if your using 25 bits for a 25/30
  17. only use is for getting the last bit of power out of maxxed injectors. even then your better off getting bigger injectors. leave the stock one on there
  18. theres no spring on any hydraulic clutch pedals that i've seen. the pedal gets pushed back up by the pressure plate. your issues with a mushy pedal sounds like a hydraulic issue, as said, bleed it all properly and check for leaks if it appears again. spigot bush should be fine aslong as its not flogged out
  19. never had that strap on myne, never caused any issues. yes its a good idea to have it but its not essential

    Amplifier Bar

not to mention the shithouse music most of them play nowdays
  21. no they wont be pressurized, you'll lose a fair bit of coolant tho. if you have braided lines you could just try and leave the lines on and move the turbo far away enough to change your gasket
