  1. That's base boost pressure. You then use your boost controller to run more if needed.
  2. Make it 4 inch. Do it once!
  3. Not really surprised there though. Bigger engine making more grunt down low. How long till you put it on E85, Harris?
  4. Here is a BMW result. GTX 3582R vs 8374. Both are twin scroll, same manifold blah blah. Red = 8374 Blue = GTX 3582R
  5. I'm sure Paul Deimar did a back to back between 3rd and 4th with Twoogle and it made 2/5th of no difference.
  6. Are the gates plumbed in or VTA, Usmair?
  7. How do they drive? Which one "stands up" quicker?
  8. Nicks has the speed sensor installed but the road rage gauge was faulty. If it doesn't get fixed soon the speed sensor will go straight back to the ECU.
  9. It's like $200. Don't be a tight ass. Wire it back to the ECU. Better than blowing a turbo!
  10. Put one in and report back!
  11. Seen it. Half the reason why I made this.
  12. Scott hasn't mentioned any boxes. I'm 99% certain it's all going straight to the ECU. If I needed anything extra I would have gotten an invoice for it haha.
  13. Usmair, have you driven your car yet?
  14. Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0 Link to the first attempt. A wealth of knowledge in it. annnnd go!
  15. No Haltech boxes here. I like my passenger foot well.
  16. After what happened last year with fuel system rubbish, an EGT setup will show a lazy/blocked injector and potentially save the engine. Cheap insurance IMO!
  17. The post compressor temp sensor is actually an EGT sensor due to the heat. It's going to be very interesting to see how hot the compressed air coming out of the turbo actually is. The pre compressor temp sensor is a different design. Exhaust manifold pressure I'll take a photo tomorrow. I have 2 x -3 bung welded on the manifold. One in each side of the scroll.
  18. EGT sensors look like this. Open ended EGT's. These are a Haltech sensor but rebranded. Not sure what the original brand is. I'll have a look. This set is for sale ATM. The post turbine is a sensor which came with the road rage gauge. That's a display to show the Turbine speed. It came with it so I chucked it in. Here is a link. http://www.roadragegages.com/SBT-kit.htm
  19. Pre and post compressor sensors? I'll get a photo of the sensor tomorrow night.
  20. Laying out everything for the airbox. The flange of the filter is 6 inches coming down to 4 inch.
  21. Exhaust is complete! Fuel filters. After what happened last year, overkill the shit out of it. 1 x 40 micron pre surge tank, 2 x 6 micron in parallel post surge tank. That's all getting mounted onto a plate in the RHS of the boot. At some stage of like to put a box over the top and put grey carpet over it with all the factory linings in.
  22. OP, out of curiosity, what turbo's are you running?
  23. Kakimoto Full Mega N1. Had one on my car. Sounded absolutely nuts! 2.8, GT-RS's, E85 and 30 psi netted 414 rwkw with the mega N1. 2.8, -5's, E85 and 24 psi made 424 rwkw with a twin 3 inch. smaller turbos, less boost, made more power. Here is a back to back. So, you can have the mad exhaust in a box that comes with a few stickers so you can add it to your shopping list OR you can put something on that performs. To get more air in you first have to get the exhaust out. Edit - Just realised that's not the overlay of the 30 PSI run with the RS's, only the 25 psi. Either way, an extra 5 psi made 13 KW. What a nugget :p.
