  1. Fair suck of the sav, i am a Webber fan but i am hardly one eyed. Vettel had absolutely dropped a few revs and was looking after the car....but the question is to what extent? Webber was a tad heavier with fuel, i think 2 or 3 laps, and was the quickest guy on the track for majority of the second session. Vettel was the second quickest with only Rosberg close to Vettels times in the middle stint. So he may have dropped the rev limit 300 or so rpm but he was still trying. The traffic meant that he had to stay on it because no gap was going to be safe with that sort of traffic and a pit stop to come. I would argue that Webber pulled the gap back on merit. In the closing laps they were both going for quickest laps of the race and dipping into the high 1:20s so i think in the final stint it was Webber who was trying to conserve the car as he went from the final stop to where he was 15 seconds behing back out to 21sec where it settled at 18 seconds. But its all BS, simple fact is Vettel won the race in the first 15 laps when i think for the first 7 laps every sector was quickest and lighting up purple on the live timing. EVERY sector, even then he did about 2-3 laps with 2 of the 3 sectors being quickest of the race....all the while Button was over a second slower with Nakajima and co able to hold withing 2.5-4 seconds off Webbers rear bumper
  2. I think if FOTA are decisive in the break then they can make it work. Tracks will open the doors to a series with the best teams and drivers where they are not charge scary licensing fees etc. Sure it wouldnt be easy, but there would be the desire to do so. My biggest concern is that FOTA are united against a common enemy, what happens when mid season they have their differences, how do they remain impartial when they are fighting each other? Still hope the Concorde agreement and FIA listen to the teams running the cars and we move past all this rubbish. Oh, and Hamilton is doing a Button. Poor car and all of a sudden his team mate seems to be doing the better job, so seems to be suffering from motivation. So only interested in giving 100% when the car is a weapon?
  3. Yeh, but i would like to go bigger then 80mm f i was going to plumb back my gate. A friend in Sydney running about the same power from teh same turbo setup on an R33 lost about 15-20kws from plumbing it in and also had boost control problems...si i have never bothered.
  4. Will take $1800 for the turbo
  5. Still for sale...need it ot of the way as its being stored at Rowdys. Can email people pictures
  6. He spent the whole 1st stint between 0.7 and 0,9 seconds behind him. As soon as he cleared him fter the first range of pit stops, Webber was a fraction quicker with a belly full of fuel and fresh tyres then when he was following Rubens at the end of the first stint with no fuel. I have to watch Live Timing whilst watching the GP as the ESPN coverage is woeful, althought youwould give it to the host But for the entire 2nd stint Webber was the quickest car on the track, he never stood a chance, but he was seeing what he could do Fisi had a good race and Button found some pace in free air in the last few laps doing similar times to the RBR cars up front
  7. Adam, are you looking at getting a Racepace exhaust? If they are black flagging you after one session then that is no fun. It was funny at first, but my lst Sandown and PI were ruined as i only got 4 laps at each with full noise because of the EPA. Maybe i need to sell my titanium exhaust to help fund a good flowing quiest exhaust
  8. Yeh, all season the two have been on different pieces of track with different strategies or cars in front of them. In China Webber held Vettel at 3-4 seconds the entire first stint until the first pit stop, which right before Webber got baulked by a lapped car. So that is the only race where they have been on the same piece of track, and i think its fair to say that the gap in those conditions was always going to be more dependent on visibility. Keen to see an RBR front row in the dry. Should have been yesterday, but Webber couldnt get it done in Quali so had to surrender the race following Rubens for 20 laps
  9. I have not given a fark abot my car for months now, in fact i wanted it burned. But right now i am thinking i may actually want to drive the thing again Fark times, i just want to drive i can have a real go in again. Ryan and Adam are now out there circulating BS fast...means i can just try to follow them and improve my PBs
  10. Yeh, in the first stint just about every lap was in the 21s, in the 2nd and 3rd stints he was in the 22s with Webber in the 21s catching him up 0.3-0.5 seconds per lap with a tad more fuel. But at that phase of the race you cant judge the pace of the two as they are in different worlds with different strategy
  11. Was great watching Alonso, Heidfeld and Hamo etc up the back. Bourdais needs to be taken out to the paddock and put to rest. I lke the guy, and really wanted to see him do well, But as of next GP they will have just about the latest aero updates and i doubt either driver is going to be able to make use of the 4th or 5th best car on the grid
  12. I liked how when he crossed the line he gave the brakes a little lock up and slid the car up against the pit wall. Re Marks demeanor....in a sense it was good to see him disappointed to be 2nd, but at the same time he as seemed to have lost that "team are a bunch of ABSOLUTE champions" with a wry smile attitude. Its no different to Vettel last GP where he understandably had a sook about 3rd. I think yesterdays race we saw Mark pull back abour 4 seconds on Vettel over the 2nd and 3rd stint. I think h was about 23sec down into the first pit stop and up to the third last lap he was bout 18seconds behind. Vettel is supreme, it seems that Mark simply cant put himself in the same position where he can race for the lead, always having to race a car for 1/3 of the race to before he can think about challengine the leader. Still, his 3rd 2nd for the year and still only 3.5 points behind Vettel. But unless Mark can lead into the first corner and beat Vettel on the track any time soon, i think Vettel will continue to have weekends with better results whilst Webber will perhaps be a little more consistant in finishing in strong points positions. LOL, a few weeks to go until German GP. My pocket is still bleeding from the purchase of my GBP415 stand tickets, but will be a cracker giving it to the Germans when the Aussie beats their boy
  13. Farking Jezuz. Just watched the vid Adz Huge amount of cred to steering that car to a teen, takes a lot pf pedal work by the looks of it I know i am so far away from being able to pedal acar near those speeds
  14. I am there for the GP in a few weeks, i may do it the Tuesday after the GP if i can arrange it before i fly out on Wednesday. Want to do it in the V6 Alfo though
  15. Russ, can you cancel the cooler? I have my HKS one you can have...i have nowhere to store it anyway
  16. Stands look empty It is a shame because it is a great track for spectating, but it is a fair way from KL. I am in Malaysia a fair bit with work and was hoping that i would get lucky and be in town when this was on...but no dice I adore Malaysia, great place and great people ! You need to post pics of the local Malaysian girls rather then the Japanese girls. LOL i am surprised that the team came with their own Japanese models ?!?!?!
  17. Well i have a HKS Type S cooler you are welcome too. I changed to a bigger ARC jobbie so it is just lying around getting in the way
  18. Vettel drove a supreme race again. Webber never stood a chance, Vettel had pace to burn at every phase of the race. Drive of the race to Massa
  19. Roy

    New Arrival

Good work, time for a new wagon!
  20. AWESOME...So happy for him A lot of time and effort has gone into that thing. I take it he was running at the 95dB Maserati day. Hmmm, EPA ruining track days
  21. Ao fark! What do you mean all smashed up?
  22. Mark would have easily potted the front row if not for Kimi. Would it have been first or second? He was slower then Vettel in sector 1, but with his lighter fuel load he could have used that weight advantage to pull back the 0.013 or whatever it was. But point is he would have had a shot at the lead from the front row, he is now 3rd back and lighter with fuel then those ahead of him. Only hope is the first lap has a few dramas and Webber can slip ahead for a few laps to see if he can do a dash. I dare think that even if Webber can get to teh front. lol remember what he did with his P2 last year at Slverstone he wont be able to do a dash and be ahead after the first round of stops. Anyway, at least he is up there, and really looks like he is racing for that 3rd step at the moment
  23. Nakajima outqualified Rosberg! I hope Nakajima does a suicide run at the start and takes out Button Make the championship a little more interesting if the front two rows can catch soem points to the guy
  24. FARK YOU KIMI!!!!!!!!!!!!
  25. Session ended and Vettel pips Webber ... again But Webber just did the one early run and looked supreme on the hard tyres. Its going to be interesting Q3! RBR look to have the sort of advantage Brawn had in Australia, assuming the soft tyres are worth a few tenths ists going to be a two car race Awesome !
