  1. There is high temp sheathing that will cover the line you run for the wastegate and from there you can always take the rubber hose (for length) down to your local hydraulic hose guy and get them to make one up. Even if they needs to use a reducign bush for the M5 conneciton
  2. So any vids from OP? How did it go with all that grunt?
  3. You are due for change in luck soon....but on the topic of high mount turbo setups, there is no such thing as overkill when it comes to using teflon braided lines for wasetgates, braided and sheated lines for oil returns and supply etc etc. Then planty of heat wrap etc...everything just gets so toasty under there
  4. Looks about right...i am waiting to see the list that the FIA publish. Interesting time...i am now hoping FOTA break away and do their own thing and build up sister teams using same chassis for some of the people wanting to jump into F1
  5. Performance Friction did it first, AP copied and called it a different name Race cars dont have the same problems as they went to carbon rotors (typically) which dont have the expansion issues of steel rotors. In classes where they are forced to still run steel rotors you will find that manufacturers all run different types of floating hats
  6. COOL!.. You are the bravest man ever to step foot on the race track
  7. Yeh they were both going quicker then the pit wall would have liked. Vettel set the fastest first sector of the race and missed the fastest lap of the race by a tenth or something on the second last lap
  8. the picture shows a 4 pot buried in there
  9. RB30s are shit for track GTSt Too small to go NA, too big for turbo as the torqe torches tyres
  10. LOL, i do have the ultimate RB20 spec'd up. Have to decide that or big cube yank donk
  11. Dirty i wont be able to make it to Silverstone , silly Dutton put my leave out of schedule. Hopefuly will make it to the German GP, but i wont mind if Mark winss his first GP without me being there Mark is driving real well. I think Vettel needs to go a bt heavier in quali, it is too hit and miss with these light fuel loads. Webber was simply too quick in the second stint on Sunday, i personaly cant see RBR dropping Webber. He has done the business the past 3 years and this year he is matching his team mate, a two time GP winner. Things will change for the guy if he gets a win or two this season, but the way the Brawns are going.... its hard to see anyone getting near them other then if they hit strife.
  12. Yeh, my crystal ball has never worked too well Will the FOTA walk and do their own thing? I cant see Bernie letting it happen as he is too smart a businessman and even if the teams go he needs to keep the big name drivers, otherwise its going to be A1GP
  13. bump...how do i post pics when they are bmp?
  14. The fast line There is never a guy with a camera when you do someting good... but always when you fark up
  15. Bullshit, i can see your beady little eyes in the rear view When i lock brakes i make sure the tyres are good and square when i am finished
  16. I was totally shit faced...apparantly i watched the race but i dont remember a lap of it Was a tad abusive to hotel staff when they were vocal about liking Button
  17. Hey, if i had of dropped out i would never have had the opportunirty to be working in India....oh, yeh, maybe i should have dropped out too And yes, all the fashionable people these days love RB20s, cant wait until my new motor is finished...will wipe the smiles of all the faces of those that said RB20s sucked
  18. Webber heavier then thoe ahead of him, if only a tad in front of Button. I hope he an jump at least one of the Brawns! May have to cancel my dinner with local crumpet so i can sink beers watching the race
  19. Well as a Webber fan i am again lamenting Webber getting done in quali and left hoping he has more fuel. I was watching on live timing and couldnt tell if Vettel was on softs and what tyres the others are on? With Trulle and the Fezz behind him Webber better make a cracker of a start, he on the dirty side so will have to watch for Trulli otherise a podium shot could be gone by turn 1. ...and lol Hamo out qualified by Heiki again
  20. Good luck with the build, will be very interesting to see how it goes...
  21. LOL, part hunch and part wishful thinking...both RBRs to be in the top 4. I am betting that they have speed to burn and have been running heavy all weekend so as not to show their pace. I suspect they dont want the likes of Ferrari, Brawn etc thinking that RBR have a speed advantage and throwing low fuel in the car to mess with the RBR race strategy. So when they sprin up in Q2 and Q3 the other teams have less time to do anything about ther pace regarding fuel loads.
  22. Brake fetish is over. I am back to my wanting a 9,000rpm 300rwkw RB20
  23. LOL, not really. It was simply amazing driving from Ryan to get those times. Obviously he has that little car of his dialled in as it did a 51 at PI with not that much power...and friggin HSDs which by all reports are ordinary. Perhaps the reason why he struggles at Sandown, being so bumpy the HSDs just plain suck
  24. Yeh, ditto. But curious to know the order of who tuned the car first and last. Any feedback on the good old seat of the pants or fuel economy, or drivability? Pros/cons? LOL, i would kill for even your lowest figure
  25. Oh ok. They are cheap tunes What was the order of tuning. I mean the last guy is in the best position as he would have only been tweaking what otehrs had already done, whilt the first guy would have had the hardest job with the most work to do....lol or so i would think
