  1. RBR on the harder tyres and quickest. Come on RBR
  2. COME ON WEBZ!!!!!!!!!!! Looks close with the Toyotas, Williams and RBR and of course Brawn are a strong chance of springing a surprse in Q3
  3. R31-House have really nice low mount manifolds, but they are about $2200
  4. Pumped, come on RBR, hopefully Brawn have dropped the ball a little with latest aero and the top 6 is the 2 x RBRs, the two Toyotas and Rosberg and Alonso. Be awesome if Webebr can get to within striking distance of Rubens.... should i be hoping for rain on race day? ... because P3 is wet http://footballclubonline.com/ch1.html
  5. How have you aligned your rear sub frame? I have minse setup for traction, other then that we are pretty similar. I have a KAAZ 1.5 diff, similar Ten shocks with slightly softer springs. But i run either RE55s or of late i was running the Bridgestones that came std on STIs and they were damn good street tyres. But i suspect its the subframe angle that is the main difference.
  6. The RBR is heavily modified for this weekend. Come on RBR! I so want Webber to win this weekend, but then agan i wont be there to watch...friggin commissioning of equipment means i am stuck in India this weekend. Though i am going to the German GP, i think i can handle watching Mark win his second GP on the trot
  7. Yeh, i am glad that i am getting to see a few of te OS rounds this year. Germany is next Seems next year i cold be watching USGP take the fight to Williams And from another thread... Has anyone here read this article? http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpass_feature_item.php A quick summary Apparently back in the 1970's the teams unified under FOCA (Formula One Constructors Association) to break away from FISA (Federation Internationale du Sport Automobile) They thought as they the teams were spending all the money, they should have a say in the rules and regulations along with getting a bigger slice of the revenue. The FOCA was led by two team owners...... guess who..... Max and Bernie. By the 1980's a battle started between FISA and FOCA, ending in FOCA forming a sort of break away series. The two ringleaders (Max and Bernie) got the positions of president of FIA for Max and Commercial rights holder for Bernie. Its all just happening again. You'd think Bernie and Max would understand what the teams are on about..... by the sounds of it they were doing the same thing themselves 25-30 years ago!! I really hope FOTA walk and do their own thing. Bernies' group pocket way too much of the money and extort tracks and are taking the racing away from great tracks with history that can fill stands to, well the sphincter of the universe and Shanghai etc
  8. Yeh, Bermie and Max screwing the fans again. Renault and Toyota, possibly BMW as well will walk with the rule change and cap leaving the shells of the teams trying to do a Brawn with whatever engine they can get their hands on and any funding they can get their hands on. LOL, about 4-6 weeks ago Flav was in talks about buying Renault, so that tells me he knows he has to keep the team together once Renault walk. LOL Flav needs to keep in F1, i mean when he gets divorced again he needs to be part of the circus so he can meat the next 35yr old hottie
  9. Keen as, i will get the Lotus and it will be like i am 28 again, oh....and errr...yeh, not going to happen
  10. Jak if you could fit into it then no issues with trusting you with the keys. As for Ryan, no way. The guy has an appetite for breaking rear ends, gearboxes and other wierd stuff. I suppose thats the price for going quick
  11. If someone can tell me what it takes to tune chicks yo then i am all ears
  12. Havent given my car a thought since Dutton, so no clue where it is at and care factor is pretty low since i am going to be OS for some time to come...lol project has copped further commissioning delays so how does November now sound . So no way i can make it back to Aus...perhaps when i am up for a new visa but even then now that you are setting some good rwd times i am happy to sit back and let you settle my arguments
  13. Man, just throw some high mount TD06-20Gs, they are good for everything and anything Nothing like some MHI tractor gear for a high tech 6 pot banger Looks like a trick ride, must be getting the itch to take it for a spin
  14. So when is Winton Ryan? I dont have many lap around the place, i have done more from the passenger seat doign driver training But a 36 is 100% possible without all that many laps, so i have my fingers crossed that with some decent weather and 14-16 laps to get dialled in you can get well into the 35s COME ON!
  15. YOUR BOYS COULD SWIM? Congrats to all!
  16. Happ to post if buyer is happy to pay postage/courier

    Gtr Haters

Would be real interesting to see the ZR1 take on the R35 in a Group N style production race, like any of the 12-24hr races in the US and Europe. I am betting the ZR1 would outlast the GTR, even if over a single lap or in wet conditions the GTR would be quicker. But, honestly, they are both BS quick cars...the fact that the Vette takes a bit mroe driving means to me you wont get so bored of hammering it at the track so quick. Frankly the repeatability of the GTRs speed makes it an awesome peice of kit....but to idiots like me that like POS and flawed cars i will always go for the styling and charm of a car like the Vette...after all "the Vette gets em wet"
  18. Surely Force India will do good then. LOL i was at Silverstone about 6-8 weeks ago and had a look around Force India across the road, well they dont have tours just stuck my nose in ....still very humble factory from its days as Jordan
  19. Man, i am all ideas but i need to know what work is doing with me. At the moment there is a good chance i will end up in Cambridge or Shanghai so whatever car i buy next, odds are it will be for me to toot around in whilst OS Poor GTSt is just sitting in a factory going to waste. I cant wait for 6-8 weeks leave and just come home and bolt it all back together and have some fun in it. If i end up in Cambridge it is going to take all my willpower not to plonk my pudgy ass in a Speed 6 or S2 Elise
  20. Can email pics to anybody interested
  21. They are lug mount calipers so cant be F40-50s. Be careful trying to adapt lug mount calipers, can be done but is tricky and you can quickly find your self running our of meat in the bracket which makes them to thin and most likely to fatigue. LOL, having bought and played and sold a fair few brake setups....what you are about to do is going to be more expensive then just buying a new off the shelf kit or a good condition used kit made for your car
  22. I cant help but laugh at people running out and buying POS GTSts Good work Ben, the cancer is spreading
  23. Love to come to Wakefiel, only i need a car and a plane ticket from Suretobebad in India
  24. Wht not just get a hydraulic elbow straight onto there, either threaded or just get an alloy speedflow bend and weld it on as i am assuming the hat of the gate is alloy so brazing is not really possible
  25. Ditto, if i let the clutch out at idle and floor it through first most times i dont break traction in 1st. SOme road surfaces it will get a wigglw but generally its all traction with 260rwkws from an RB20. Decent suspension, quality tyres and a good alignment and be gentle with the clutch
