Quickest Lowmount Turbo'd Gtr In The World...
Roy replied to NXTIME's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
Question is, was this in the R32 GTR drag car or the 180SX that was replaced by the TT V8 Supra? I hae vids of them all running...the only footage i used to watch time and time again was the R33 0-300km/h car which early on ran the same turbos 2540Rs for the 0-300 and also track times at Tsukba were it ran quicker then the Mines R34 -
Now i am gutted... http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/news...420152219.shtml How can they put my hero on the same screen as the guy i have no respect for. Fark them, i am going to rip off the Tag labels off my Le Mans gear and my turf my TAG glasses

The car looks awesome in that pic! I think thats the first time i have said that of an R35. Uo-oh, i have the bug So it doesnt have a speed limiter? The car's weight didnt seem to hurt the tyres too much, i suppose it was only 3 laps? They are crazy good things, from what i am told about the only thing you should do is the steering wheel paddle thing to make it easier to shift gears...from there its all a matter of do you really need to go any faster ? LOL....

My seats has the tabs rather then the hoops so should be worse for visibility on the street. I drive mostly with my mirrors so isnt a problem 85% of the time. But yes, there are times like when you come up to a tight merge lane or about to merge with quicker traffic and thats when the seat sux. Mostly because it is so heavily bolstered you cannot use a seat belt on the street. If you try it dosnt touch your body, it hits the supports instead. So need to use harness whcih uscks on the street. Oh and you look like a tool when at the servo and you have to undo the harness, remove the steering wheel then still have to trip out of the car. I am no 95kg gymnast

Really, i didnt have live timing on. Webber came out behind Massa after his first stop and was dropping tim to Vettel and Button who were in front. So since Webber held 3 seconds behind Vettel in the first sting then held 13 seconds in the final stint, i think that whislt Webber was behind Massa he was being held up as Vettel was starting to pull away. LOl, well at least thats what i saw wathing the crappy Star Sports coverage of the race over here in India

Well all of a sudden i am wanting Vettel to beat Webber in this years WDC. How about you pay the $1000 for a stripper from MGs to run down the Pacific Highway. That i want to see!
-
Hell, i might lose a kg or two ripping 20kgs out of the car. Easier to just up the boost another few psi. Much easier I love my ex Bright HRT seat, its a kevlar Momo. Ok, so Bright isnt as cool as Seto, but...fark you Count! At least you were there to back me up when i was too chicken sh1t to get Bright to sign my seat. So now i have a signed ex HRT race seat

Top RB20 Club... do you have over 260rwkw?
Roy replied to RBsileighty's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
That is part of my concern with all these cheap throttle bodies going around and why i think if i am to use anything i might go for the Q45 throttle body -
Shepo, i disagree ..... with your sig. Minis are for girls with great legs that shave. Semis are what i get when i am walking behind said lady in minis

Maybe because on race pace they are 0.5seconds a lap off the mark so needed to try something a little different if they wanted a decent points haul? Their cars sucked in the rain last year and they have looked only a little better this year. Like previous years RBR seem to have decent wet weather cars, and maybe some good wet steerers as well
-
So now to see if Webebr responds positively to all the press that Vettel will be getting re future WDC. He needs to respond next race and show that he is capable of beating the guy... if he is capable. I think he is
-
No difference in my eyes, thi race had cars crashing into one another and out of the race and retiring. British GP last year didnt have that.

Come on Anthony, i spun, hit the wall and still went quicker then a 1:50 Just get back out there and do some more laps, i agree that it never hurts to get comfortable in your car before you hand the keys over to someone else. Makes it more constructive for them too. But as bad as you felt when the engine let go, imagine how bad he felt. If you are giving the keys of your car to someone else make sure the car is ok. Thats the main reason i dont drivfe peoples car during DT, usually you can talk them throguh almost as quickly as when you show them But to say DT is a waste etc i think sells it all a bit short. Hey if there is merit or you know of a way to make it better then i think the club would be all ears. New people look at things differently which cna be a great thing, but the balance is sometimes the older hands happen to know a few things too. Even if they are not full time, professional drivers. And oh, by the way. Adam. Does Mezera do driver training up north? He still is my favourite driver. In his day back in Europe he was beating many of the big names of the 90s. I would love to do some training with him. If you have his details could you forward them to me? He is also just about the biggest legend in interviews and when i met him briefly years ago
-
Well i would rather see Webber win his first GP on merit...BUT, if Beumi had of ended Vettels race i would not have cried. After all it was Japan 18 months ago that a STR rookie rear ended Webz when he was on it for a podium, perhaps the top step

When you are all truly, completely and utterly pissed tonight grab a happy snap....i mean your profile needs a good pic http://www.ctcnsw.com.au/DHandley.htm

Bad things can happen to drunk ppl in Asia, just dont include India as part of Asia

Awesome, its too cool a car to not get some lovin....and oh, check your PMs. I sent you a link to a great scheme that allows us to get some money out of Nigeria by helping some out of luck farmers

Yeh, Massa gets grief for his Silvertone race last year, where as Hamilton has that race on his CV as a rainmaster qualification. Well today showed that every driver is only as good as the car allows and he had as many, if not more spins then Massa had at Silverstone. Re Webber and pit strategy, that had me confused as well. Not to mention that with Webber re-joining behnd Massa etc it meant that RBR realised they had to short fill Vettel if he was to get track position on them. So Webber got the worse of the Strategy today. Given his fuel i was hoping he wa going to do the short fuel to try and jump Vettel at the first round of pit stops
-
So happy, as an RBR fan couldnt ask for a better result as both drivers were top shelf in tough conditions. Webber was just a little too slow on his in and out laps and strangely pitted before Vettel, which i guess was a pit wall call. But Webber drove almsot as good a race as Vettel, which was faultless so Stuff coming hom for early May for a break or doing the Burger Ring like i planned, i am booking my tickets to the Spanish GP
-
Too soon to call a RBR 1-2 Vettel looks a little too strong with the better strategy. 8 laps to go
-
Woohoo, just as i say that, Safety Car! Now i think Webber can beat Vettel. He is a lap or three heavier so can jump him in the pits, and who knows, i woudl not be surprised if he is genuinel quicker in the wet
-
LOL, just thought, how good would it be if they started under the pace car? That way Webber wont end lap 1 in 6th and has a chance to race for the lead
-
Its wet. Awesome work by the top 3 to go the low fuel to try and do a dash from the front while the heavier cars play in the back with the spray. So hope Webber can get it off the line and beat Vettel to the ends of the first lap. This has to be his best chance of a win to date, wet weather with predictions that it will be drying. A team mate who if behnd wont be too agressive and a lighter Alonso. COME ON MARK! But Vettel is a strong chance of doing a Monza, a controlled drive from the front while the rest are fighting for boiled lollies
-
So what happens to a certain silver R33 from here?
-
NO FARKING WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope the engine is fine and its just, well anything but a big end bearing
