  1. Check out my stuff for sale... click links below! Cheers, Mike
  2. I know what you mean and I agree 100%, unfortunately it is the way the world is going. There is a certain country that is doing pretty well by copying other companies products... not saying it is right!
  3. In all seriousness it would be very interesting to see the final pricing if it is indeed comparable to the standard crank price ($1200-$1500?), there would be no reason not to get one. When you think about it all the designs and R&D is done by companies such as HKS and Tomei. Get one of their cranks and copy it... I voted 73.7mm, can't get passed the HiOctane R32 and its full counterweight Tomei crank nessled in a GT block!
  4. Not sure if Adel. Performance Engineers (AKA Graham West Workshops) can do it, worth giving him a call, Brett is a brilliant tuner and a top bloke!
  5. Full counterweighted 73.7mm RB26 crank. I would do bad things for one... whore myself out to 600 fat chicks for $10 each, that should get me a Tomei one!
  6. A $5 hooker with 9 STD's will "do the job" too... time to move on from old mate PFC! I would rather my ECU do something about the knock rather than tell me it is happening.
  7. Have for sale a brand new front bumper and rear tub/tray for a 2005 Ford F250 Xtra Cab, taken off a brand new vehicle from new and stored away. Will sell separately pick up only. Geniune OEM Ford! Front bumper: $1500 Rear Tub: $2500 Both prices o.n.o Call 0432 562 025 for more details of PM. Cheers, Mike
  8. Hey mate, Do you the have front inner splash guards? Mike
  9. Sorry to detract from the entertaining argument... but assuming capable engine and appropriate head work etc from an RB26, would it be possible to make 350kW or more using N1 turbos or GT-SS's (or Garrett equivs.) taking advantage of the higher octane of E85 with timing etc...? Mike
  10. Well if the thread starter has a Haltech Platinum Pro he is set, go MAP forget the AFM's. http://www.haltech.com.au/index.php?option...7&Itemid=86
  11. Once they run out of resolution that is it, the tuner is guessing, how good is the tuner? Not good enough for me (personally) wanting to risk it. You are saving money if you buy (or already have) an ECU that is capable of using a MAP sensor instead of AFM's. Instead of getting a new ECU and AFM's as well...? Which is wasting money that is not really necessary! Mike edit: between MAP and AFM's there is f**k all difference between drivability too.
  12. Or, if you are changing the ECU as well, better off just switching over to a MAP sensor and you saved yourself the $$$ and you never have to worry about AFM's again.
  13. +coffee table to rest your feet on... plus chips and beer!
  14. The KAAZ LSD centres seem well priced compared to the Nismo and OS Giken. Comparable in terms of performance and durability? (on a R33 GTR).
  15. You can tune beyond their "range" but I would not risk doing it. I would go the Nismo AFM's if I had to, but I went with MAP sensor.
  16. I nearly wet myself after I found it... +2 as well, boring weekends are no more!
  17. Is an electric power steering pump a shit idea? I think 9krpm was investigating doing it. Mike
  18. Cheers Ten Four! Still got items for sale... - GTR AFMs: $150 (pair) - Diff. rear: $400 - Bridgestone Potenza RE050 245/45/17: $250 (set of four)
  19. Haha... gold! But, Reimax still have the RBX on their website as a product? http://www.reimax.com/ I can not read Jap.
  20. I just realised... water lines? In an oil cooled only turbo?
  21. Is it brand new? Nearly $2.5k is a bit much...
  22. Maybe a bit of hydraulic fitting thread lock but not tape!
