  1. They are definitely the sensors but I do not know where they go, can let you know tomorrow. But I suspect it may be of no use to you as I have a GTR.
  2. So, URAS are you planning on grabbing 2010 by the balls and going ahead with this...?
  3. There are two sensors of some sort on the back of the diff itself ether side with two wires each. I followed these wires and they go to the Hicas Module. Well done chief, that are they!
  4. Bump for Ray, great bloke to deal with! Cheers mate, parts recieved.
  5. Was sitting for 9 months with very little fuel in the tank. Pumps need fuel for cooling and lubrication so it may have primed a few times with no fuel being picked up and died, or it picked up some s**t at the bottom of the tank. A bit frustrating considering it was a $500 Nismo pump, but, hopefully get a Bosch 044 in there now. EDIT: I tested it and it is getting power but not drawing current so it is definitely siezed up.
  6. Don't bother porting them, a bit of meat of the flanges are ok!
  7. That is excellent mate, feel free to share some photos when you can. I think I have to plan a Japan trip for some parts reconnaissance, so jealous after looking at those photos. Good luck.
  8. If you just start it and let it idle then shut it down you will foul the plugs up, and if you just let it sit your fuel pump will probably die (as I found out ). So, if it were me, put it on jacks (to save the tyres), take the battery out and be prepared to get a Bosch 044 when you want to get her going again. Mike
  9. Cheers lads, will ground the fuel pump module and check voltage when it is installed. Mike
  10. Unlucky mate, hope you can save the exhaust at least! Did it part at one of the v-band flanges? Good luck in getting it sorted for the 16th.
  11. I have an ECU and cat back and am making 250kW at 11psi, the tune is nice and safe to keep things going. If that is as much power as you want then you can't go wrong and it won't cost you a lot.
  12. ...re-digging up an old thread... Can the standard fuel pump controller in a R33 GTR be used with a Bosch 044 fuel pump? Or am I better off grounding it so the pump sees the full voltage all the time? Cheers, Mike
  13. Easily available, picked up 5L last week from my local Nissan dealer!
  14. Ahhhh... need to check that there are no bubbles, I thought that was just so that you didnt make a mess
  15. Well just bled the whole system from the pump, rear diff. then the transfer case. Not too sure if it is all good, seemed a bit too easy. Each time the bleed nipple is backed off fluid drips out... seems ok to me?
  16. I am going to do the exact same thing today (I hope) will let you know how it goes. It is on a R33 GTR though. Anyone know where the bleed nipple is, (if there is one) on an A-LSD, I did not pay any attention when I put the diff back EDIT: just found the bleed nipple... woot woot
  17. It looks like they are non-greasable too. Not so much to keep the ball joint moving but pumping it with greases pushes out the dirt and s**t that might work its way into the joint.
  18. Pm sent mate, feel free to SMS or call 0432 562 025
  19. Looks awesome, credit to you buddy. What are the thoughts of the guys from HKS about the Hypertune manifold, did they comment in comparison to any of the Japanese branded products? Mike
  20. Yeah they get a compression of 9.0 (static) or thereabouts with their roller wave pistons... could a company like CP custom make pistons to suit a modified combustion chamber with squish pads removed?
