  1. My RB25 and TD06-20G 10cm on E85. This is straight off the external wastegate but ill be back to have the ebc dialled in hopefully tip the 300kw unopened . Would buy another one of these turbos time and time again. Have played around with my exhaust cam gear to bring boost on 500rpm earlier witch I believe will noise over up the top end earlier? Mainly street driven so response is key to me! Keen for a retune.
  2. Pay more for a npc but it's worth the money ten fold. Spoke to my exedy rep and either the pressure plate or clutch plate are made by them I cannot recall. Would not recommend another clutch as it's by far the best "upgraded" mod that still drives like stock. For me that's over heavy clutches, locked diffs and bullshit noises I love mine to pieces. Knowing now I can limiter drop it hard I have ultimate faith in it.
  3. Same clutch here. Glad to know yours is holding up fine at that level, hoping to nudge 350kw when I install my 30DET.
  4. NPC here and love it to bits. Can hold 400kw apparently and it drives like a stock clutch. 293kw here with more boost to come and its holding up fine.
  5. As above chasing a set of cam covers and valley cover off a gtr. Not fussed on paint as they will be repainted. Not looking at paying the gtr tax for them though. Pm me pics and info. Cheers.
  6. Yes its still here. Pm me if you are interested.
  7. Putting my feelers out to see if anyone is interested in my disassembled rb25/30. Starting to get over cars and my current rb25 is healthy still, this engine was going to be the last piece to the puzzle for my coupe. Rb30 acid bathed, decked .008mm New welsh plugs Painted high temp silver Honed to suit 86.5mm pistons Crank balanced, polished and larger oil pump drive fitted. Main oil returns drilled out to 10mm Oil restrictors fitted. 1.2 mm from memory Crank installed with kings race bearings and arp main studs. Bearings measured out to .038. Rb25de head complete-off a good running engine. Cams, gears, covers etc Was going to get it stripped, cleaned, checked and installed with new parts through out. Could slam it on with a quick clean if you wanted. Below parts are to go with the block-bran new: Cp forged flat top Pistons. 86.5mm Timing belt to suit 2530 Second tensioner Key ways Crank gear Used parts: Rb30 sump Turbo braided oil and water lines Engine brackets Rb25 balancer/water pump All that is required is some h beam rods and some bearings and you will have a strong bottom end. I'm not fussed if it doesn't sell, in all honestly I should continue with building my dream engine for this car but I haven't finished the car itself yet. Plus I need to draw the line somewhere as my life is only getting busier and busier.. $2500 Owes me a lot more. My loss, your gain. Located in the Adelaide hills-SA
  8. Have some here in SA. Can post if you like. Pm me if you are interested
  9. Ill be using H beam rods and CP flat top forgies for mine. SUmp wize im going to get my standard 30 modded with the weld on fittings etc. Not sure if there is any off the shlf items, but i cant say iv looked as im not at that stage yet.
  10. Oil mods. Oil mods. Oil mods.. Baffled/larger sump with a couple of -10an fitting welded onto the sump running to the catch can to help relieve bottom end pressure so the oil can drain back quicker, and so the top end doesnt pump the catch can full. Drill out the block and head oil drain out. I drilled mine to 10mm to help get the oil down quicker. Head to sump drain/vent depending if you think its worth it. I dont but some people think its a good idea and acts as a drain. Also could work hand in hand with my first point. Decent catch can vented or how ever you want to run it. Will be using my current N1 oil and water pump. WIll be throwing stonger gears into the oil pump before swapping it across. Restrictors in the block. Work out what you think will be the best size depending on vct, lifters and how you will be using the car. Im using standard crank, balanced polished and tested. Ill be ordering forged rods, ARP head studs, main studs Have cp 86.5mm flat top pistons. Not sure on my bearings or head gasket yet. My head will get a full recon. New lifters, valve steam seals, swap my cams across, mods for the vct. GTR cam covers etc. If i didnt really care and was a budjet build id just slam the standard head on and be done with it. Im building this engine up over many years so im not in a rush as im still driving/upgrading the car over the years too. Thats all i can think of for now. Ill be watching your progress and seeing how its all unfoulding. Apparently once you let the Nissan out, they are never the same. But ill roll the dice.
  11. Quickly measured the teks before selling them. Hub was 400mm and the outer rim was 425mm. And they were tight but never fouled on anything.
  12. Im doing exactly this but building a forged rb30 with a spare head whilst keeping the current 25 rolling. Ill swap my cams, turbo, exhaust manifold oil and water pumps across before dropping the 30 in. Using four different RB's to create something unique: Rb30 bottom end Rb25 head GTR intake GTSR exhaust manifold <3 the dirty 30
  13. No 33gtr wheels don't clear, doubt 34 gtt wheels would clear too. What are people running brake master wise with the front and rear kit? I have a bm44 standard and my pedal is spongy. Fitted a HFM BM57 and the rear brakes locked up and the pedal was rock solid after been applied a few times. BM50 time?
  14. 350mm evo 10 rotor with Evo 6 Brembos here and I have 17's over them. Its all to do with the inner barrel, if it steps then you have no hope. Currently running teks atm and I'm in the process of selling them and want to stay something in the 17inch range. Any Japanese wheel that has a non stepped barrel should clear them depending on spoke design and offset.
  15. My teks as above clear the brakes. About 5mm clearance though probably not ideal but they do. Either TC105N or Gram lights 57DR in 17s are next on the list for me as I don't want 18's. Hoping I can have the sizes I have always wanted, but ill be getting measurements before purchasing anything.
  16. Nope. I already tried that with a mates pair of wheels. The inner barrel wont clear the caliper...
  17. Im sure i could give it a good home in my garage!
  18. Got a bran new Genuine balancer here. Mine was starting to crack and with the amount of cash i have throwen at the engine it was a no brainer, plus working at Nissan and getting cost price was even better!!!
  19. Wow both are really close. Just shows that e85 does give you that little extra. I have Tomei pon cams witch I think has helped the top end to open up a little more. Interested to see your results with the new gear going in and on E, when I have cash again ill rebook mine and update again!
  20. Putting it out there and seeing if anyone has a spare rb26 intake with throttle bodys they want to get rid of. Will clean it up and get it power coated so I'm not really fussed on overall appearance, but needs to be useable and not cracked etc. No knock off China shit too. Pm me what you have and pics would be great. Located in SA but I can arrange freight if the right one. Cheers, Adam
  21. Well I didnt make the 300kw club, will go back early next year for more boost. 17psi straight off the gate and boost controller turned off got me 293.8kw.
