  1. I have told myself the poor man pays twice so I don't know why I'm even considering it tbh.. Reputable sellers for internal/external E pumps?
  2. Piecing this thing together over the last 4 years I need to put numbers onto paper, both pumps are bran new and would have seen less that 10 hours of use. Even if these pumps dont have a long life on e85 Id say ill get a tune and weekend driving for 3 mounths out of them, then its back in the shed for winter upgrades.
  3. I set the car up orgionally for pump fuel with 550ccs then switched to bigger injectors and e85. Guess ill run the pumps until they get noisy and swap them out for something E compatible.

  5. Hrmm seems bosch pumps and e85 arent a good mix. Ill be getting a tune in October hopefully so im interested to see how the 040 and external 044 go on e85. I have -6n like from the surge tank going to the 044 should I change it out for a -8n line even though the rest is -6n? Or just stick it on the dyno and see if it comes back with any issus then address them later?

  9. Have two rb25 engines in pieces. Was going to rebuild into one good one but lost motivation. Parts are Ono. Good rb25 head. Complete with cams, covers, cam gears (random adjustable intake gear) Bolt onto a 30 bottom end and away you go. $200 Average rb25 head. Gunky needs a clean and check. Comes with cams, no covers or gears $100 Rb25 block x 2. $50 each Rb25 crank x 2. $50 each S1 standard coilpacks with loom and brackets. $100 Rb25 sump x 2. $30 each rb25 oil pump. $40 Rb20/25 exhaust manifold x 2. $50 each rb25 inlet manifold. Complete minus injectors. $50 S2 rb25 arm. Worked great, upgraded to z32. $80 Rb20/5 cross over pipe with bob. $50 each Turbosmart boost T $30 HKS SSQ bob. $30 Gktech s13 extended lower control arms. 9 mm longer over standard s13 arms complete and less than 500km use. Great for a track cars to get the extra track. $250 Gktech 4-5 stud 15mm conversion spacers. $80 Rb25 short shifter. $50 Hr31 weather shields. Awesome condition for their age.   10. Sheeett almost two years with out an update where do I start?? She since has come home been pulled apart many more times, running, rego and now off the road again for more winter upgrades. Shes running on e85 with my home tune and ready to rock and roll to the tuna at the end of this year! Pretty bloody keen to get the thing tuned and on the road for summer, seen as shes a healthy donk she will pull good numbers. Think the limiting factor will be the TD06 20G now haha. Sunk alot of money in Japanese quality parts as i got sick of the China junk, so a few orders have been placed through streeter since the last update. Quick run down since August 2013: Rb25 box Npc clutch rated at 450kw Alpha omega brake adaptors, Evo VI brakes, 350mm rotors, PMU hc pads front S13 front coilovers, Gktech 5 stud hubs, new bearings, Hardrace tie rod ends, standard r31 lca Lots of money has been spent at work (Jarrett Nissan) for replacement parts. Screws, trim pieces, switchs, seals etc what ever else was looking old and crappy got replaced if i could still buy them. Just taken my third batch of exterier parts to my spraypainters for new paint. Cage and track car setup interier wise has been throwen out the window and shes now back in street trim. Engine has recieved N1 oil andwater pump, pon cams, id1000 injectors, greddy fuel rail, z3e2 afm, hks oil cooler with custom lines greddy thermostat for theoil cooler too. Also picked up a aussie 31 for cheap as chips that I that converted into a cheap skidded. Coilovers, hydro, manual and a spooled diff. Cheap simple fun to take my anger out on instead of the coupe and regretting it if I stack it into some tyres. Picks tell 1000 words:

Dont get a loan for a daily considering you are going to buy a house soon. 30k is stupid for a daily driven car unless you can really afford it and ontop of a house loan too you might be digging yourself a hole. Go out and buy a cheap daily again, something thats realiable and you know will last you. I drive a N13 pulsar around daily since I got my licence, sure she's rough now but my god does she keep on going. Service it once a year and do the general check ups every now and again and she's sweet, clock stopped at 200k 4 years ago and id say she's done over 300k now also $30 p/w on fuel is a life saver. Owned my Hr31 for 7 years now and only ever had a small 3k loan to drop the 25 in years ago. She's my Rolls Royce, I don't care what people think of my daily as I know I have something special when summer comes around. We are paying a extra $200 p/w off our home loan because we can at the present time, we could be paying more but we also save to go on holidays and go out every now and again. I work a second job once a week so that gives me 5k a year to spend on the HR or go out and skid the cheap drifter I have pieced together. Both my wife and myself don't earn BIG dollars but we plan ahead what we put our money towards, we don't live a life we cannot afford nor do we want to be in large amounts of debit apart from our home loan. Everyone is different, wants different things. But if it was me I wouldn't want to drive a 30k car around daily for inconsiderate people to dent and destroy, id rather drive my HR on the weekends and leave a semi stress/debit free life. My 2c.
  13. Sorry I only skim read the thread. If thats the case then back off some of the fuel until it starts and idles, then check it with your wideband once its ideling by its self and work off that. I dont have a wideband but I used gopro footage and a good ear to get mine to where it is atm. Just be careful as you can also cause damage if you go too far and dont have a understanding whats happening when pressing buttons.
  14. I had the same issue when i dropped 1000ccs in, I had done the injector latency corrections etc and it wouldn't idle. I found out it was running mega lean and I had to add more fuel over the course of the map. I have to go into ignition/injector correction every time I want to start the car and adjust the injector side so it runs right. Been driving around for 3 months like this and it drives pretty well, doesn't ping, run rich or knock its head off under load I think its about finding the sweet spot. Obviously its not as good as a full tune but its got me out and about for some more RandD to go back to the drawing board with before the real tune.

  17. Have this stuff sitting in my shed and its taking up room. Gkteck 4-5 stud 15mm hubs. Used for one track day and busted my wheel so went back to 4 stud. $80 Old school Nissan service sign. Red/blue Nissan logo. Faded a little from use and been sitting around for many years, clear plastic is yellowish but nothing some wet and dry couldn't fix. Put a fluro behind it and it will be a awesome man cave addition. Aprox 1m x 55cm $600 firm S2 25 afm $50 Rb25 crank $80 Rb25 inlet manifold complete less injectors $50 Rb25 exhaust manifold $50 Rb25 s2 head less cams. Would get it crack tested $50 Rb25 s2 cams $50 More to follow but I cant remember what I have stashed away. Parts are located in Sa but I will post at buyers expense.   18. EOI on the 240km cluster I have in my coupe currently. These things are hard to come by and I searched high and low for a long time to find one that I could get my hands one one before someone else did. Only thinking of selling because I am developing some OCD with my coupe and keeping parts original to the shell. In great condition for its age few marks on the plastic cover but nothing bad. Coupe of globes that are out witch I didn't check before installing it, the boost gauge doesn't work (been originally non turbo) I had volts not boost, the spedo doesn't work but I have a broken spedo cable from the conversion, and the only iffy one is the oil pressure witch its been funny on both clusters. Also note i didn't have the car running long before taking the pic, so the water temp gauge works too. The cluster has to come out If fix it or sell it onto someone that has been looking for one so I have decided to throw the factory one back in when the time comes. Still currently in the car and I wont be attempting to pull it out until someone buys it or she runs out of rego in the second week of June. Located SA happy to post at buyers expense. I will wrap it with an inch of its life but if you choose not to get insurance/damage protection I wont be held accountable if something happens. $450 pretty firm on price too.   19. I installed a 10inch carbotic clutch with a lighter flywheel many months ago and took it out for its first drive last weekend! Wow pretty much drives like a stock clutch alot better than the shitty xtreame shuttery POS. Could not be happier with the product so far. Can't wait to get a full tune to she how it all goes together!
